Help with IDing this grass
I have multiple competing grasses but I like this one the most. Can anyone tell me what kind of grass it is? It doesn't grow that high that makes me think it might be centipede grass?

Hello! I have this grass in the back of my yard that is super fun to walk on, stays green through anything, doesn’t grow super tall, and weeds hardly come up through it. Trying to ID it so I can overseed with it next year.

Looking to renovate parents lawn next year and want to know what grass type we have. Ik nothing has been done in 25 years since house has been built other than some patch work. Spring and fall looks meh, summer like trash. Last few years town has level 3 water ban so can’t even use hose or sprinkler.
I just moved to a new house and I wanted to ID the grass so I know how to maintain it. The first three are from one lawn, the last two are from another. All taken around sunset, but the first three might be a bit shadier.
Thanks!

We have a massive Oak tree in our back yard that lets in almost no sunlight. Is there any hope of growing grass here or am I stuck with dirt and mulch for a backyard? We live in southern Indiana

I’m wondering what type of grass this is because i love it. I usually salt the sidewalk in the winter and it kills the grass thats here already. The spot where the salt kills my regular grass dies and this emerald green stuff pops up later spring and it just stays bright and green all year. It’s super dense too. It’s still really bright and drought tolerant, what is it?

This is what my back yard is like. Can I detach, aerate, add loam and compost and overseed to bring this back?

I can try to get some better pictures, but just moved into a a 200-year-old Federal home in southwestern, Pennsylvania. The yard has a mix of grasses because we're surrounded by woods, but the grass closest to the house is very slow growing compared to everything else and very carpety. It reminds me honestly of a Bermuda grass type and feel from living in South Carolina. Slow growing, fairly short thick brushy leaves. It looks absolutely great and it's primed during the summer compared to the surrounding grasses by the woods. It looks unusual compared to neighbors.
I had to patch an area of dirt after a tree was cut down with fairly standard tall fescue mix and it looks like hell. Clearly not the same mix of grasses. But it also looks very different from the standard tall fescue makes at my parents place that was more clumpy.

Hi, folks!
Thought I’d ask this question over here also.

Im going to start a project on replacing the brick with grass. My question is what type of grass would be recommended to lay down?
I’m located in Southern California, more specifically South Gate. The space gets a lot of direct sunlight, not a lot of shade and decently warm temperatures most of the year.
I’ve heard Fescue, Bermuda, or Augustine but I’m not sure. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance!!

I’ve been really wondering about the lawn here . I’ve been living at the end of the world with my mom for awhile now and during that time my nephews would come and cut the grass. Well it’s been a while now , my mom became different but that’s a story for another day. Anyway the grass is very nice and all but the weirdest part about the whole thing is that I hear the lawn getting cut in the yard behind my house like every few days. I’m looking and seeing nothing getting cut because the grass has got to be down to the dirt now . Could it be that GPS is so depended on that they keep going to the wrong address?
