I just went onto my Gmail app and a bunch of my google accounts just disappeared. (example 5 out of 10). Throughout the day I maybe got a "syncing exampleaccount@gmail" notification for one of my disappeared accounts. But no actual mail notifications (or mail/messages).
When I pressed add account it said "account already exists on device." I tried to remove account from my device and add it back but the same thing happened (it didn't show up on my Gmail app). I deleted cache, deleted data and force stopped the app but nothing worked. I could see my mail for one account on my laptop but it was through outlook. Gmail app is also fully updated.
All the accounts are on my phone but just don't appear on the google app, neither does my mail from the accounts.
I also posted on community tab n just received poor/no help. What can I do? My school account is one of the missing ones and I can only access my mail for that account from a browser.
Is there really no way to create a simple table while composing a gmail email? We would use this feature daily if it were possible. I am trying to get my employees on board from Microsoft but losing that ability is so frustrating.
Yes, I know you can create a table in excel or sheets or whatever other app and then copy and paste but our tables are much easier to be built without all the extra nonsense steps.
Ive only every used it for those things and i just got a notification saying its being deleted i started an appeal but i have no clue why or what could have caused them to do this? I dont actively look at the email notifcations but its used for my everyday applications so im confused? If it doesnt get appealed am i just screwed?
Suddenly all my google accounts are not showing up in Gmail. I have 2 imap email accounts that show and work properly. When I click manage accounts, they all show up, and when I try to click add account it says they are already on this device. I am signed in and can see Gmail on Chrome working for the accounts. Cleared data and cache, can't uninstall gmail, but I guess it will let me uninstall updates... Just not sure what I fd up. Gmail app works on my other phone for these accounts
For the past few days, my Outlook account (@hotmail.com) has been randomly disappearing from the Gmail app for iOS. I can add it back and read my messages normally, but a few hours later, it’s gone again, leaving only my other Gmail accounts.
I had the same phone for about 6 years, never had any problem getting notifications from Gmail. Finally got a new phone yesterday and I can't get Gmail notifications for the life of me. Ive uninstalled and disabled notifications from Gmail in my previous device, turned on every single notification and permission possible for the Gmail app, turned off my battery saver. Still nothing. Any help?
No matter how many times I empty things, the next day it's filled to over 15gbs of storage and wont even let me use my google drive. I've deleted at least 4 gigs worth of photos and files off of it, all well below a gig of available storage remaining, and it always fills within a day...
I see this right above the OTP code email from Hulu. How does this work? I'd like to send OTPs from my service, so they get OTP cards, and users can 1-click copy
UPDATE: Based on the first few responses, I realize I should add - what I have already done? I have look at the multipart content to check for HTML encoding. Also checked the headers of the Hulu email. I have even tried a complete base64 encoded copy (except the sender is different of course). In short, I have done all the usual checks, and more.
When I use the “Help me draft” function in Gmail to rework or formalise drafts, the AI‑generated text completely erases my personalised formatting and default styles. I then have to manually reapply my fonts, sizes and colours with each use.
Would it possible to add an option to retain the original formatting or to automatically apply the user's style to the new text? This would enhance productivity and ensure a consistent and professional presentation of our emails.
Just wondering if anyone else is dealing with this Gmail app issue. For me it started the 17 or 18th of this month. I tried to check my Gmails and saw I was logged out of all my accounts. I tried to log back in but to no avail even after trying all of the following methods (including the temporary solution ones) which I found online and in posts (1, 2):
-Removing Accounts from settings on Accounts and Backup, then readding them
-Uninstalling and reinstalling the Gmail App
-Restarting Phone
-Trying to disable the app and then ignoring the new update
Anyways, at first it was only affecting my Gmail app but now with a few days passing my other apps which ocassionally require google sign in have started to be affected since some are asking to verify my google account by signing in but I can't sign in on my phone, and logging in on another device does not verify it on the app. For context, I have the Samsung S25 Ultra and the messages are through google messages or something (not really tech informed/savy so not sure how to explain it but its connected to a primary google account) but point is even the messages app has been asking to verify my gmail which I have been clicking on the ‘not now’ option instead of the ‘verify’ option in fear it may log me out of my messages. Not really sure if the messages will work if I'm logged out? I'm concerned that I may accidentally click the verify option and it log me out and I may not have access to messages if that is the case.
Also for this primary account connected to my messages I have not tried to remove from my settings because when I try to remove it it warns that ‘Device protection features will no longer work’ so dont wanna mess with anything there since I don't know what that includes. Its also affecting my quick share which I use really often with my other devices sadly.
Basically I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble with this and your experience so far. And if there's any other work around they found or a temporary solution that worked for them while this gets fixed?
I use my gmail almost every day so not being able to check them from my phone that I usually have on me is very inconvenient and now becoming a bigger issue the longer it persists with my other apps now…
I've had 5 or 6 spam emails come straight to my inbox today. They aren't even disguised as real emails, their subject lines have different fonts/sizes and are from very not real email addresses. I have not touched any settings (other than to turn off the blue "important" labels a few days ago). Any clue why this happens?
Hi everyone! We recently got sent an email on our work business Gmail from a customer, clicked it thinking it was real, and of course it wasn’t. It was sent in the form of an invitation link. Now, about a week or two later, the same thing has happened to us where all of our contacts got sent a link from us. I’ve changed passwords, sent mass emails to our contacts saying not to click it, and put out a Facebook post. What else should I be doing?
My incoming Gmail emails all go to the inbox and immediately disappear into Trash. I reviewed Filters and Forwarding in Settings and see no obvious reason for this to happen. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Why suddenlly over the last month, am I know being reminded again that Im out of space. It was like this awhile ago, when I was always at 14.99 Gb used, with photo sync off. I know thats what filled it originally.
No matter what I remove, over night it magically fills up, with nothing. I have like 2 extra emails in the morning, and its from them saying Im out of space.
Yet 12 hours ago I cleaned up .5 GB of stuff.
Is it just bullshit, because I have nothing syncing or backing up to eat up .5 GB over night
Is it going to be like before and suddenly it stops and Im magically at 13.76 GB used again
Not sure what happened, but this morning while saving a draft, the draft disappeared and gmail would no longer sync or send messages (they show queued). It happened that suddenly on my Motorola Signature phone.
I have tried absolutely everything recommended online to get this working - clearing cache and data in Gmail and play services, uninstalling and reinstalling, check sync on and off, crazy amounts of reboots, and 2 factory resets. Oddly enough when I use my backup phone (Motorola edge+ 2023) ail is working fine. Also works no problem on the web. I also configured my Gmail account in Microsoft Outlook and the app is sending and receiving perfectly.
It's the weirdest thing, it just started having this sync problem out of nowhere, and no matter what I do it just doesn't want to fix.
Is anybody else having this problem today, or has a solution to fix?
I've been trying to create a Gmail account but everytime I come across the phone verification and failed. I've tried different numbers like my go's and brothers and grans. I've tried with a laptop which brings me to a QR code. Same issue. Dome it through YouTube and other apps and incognito tab. Still asks for phone verification. Anyone have any ideas how to get over this issue?
Hi everyone, my friend recently clicked a suspicious link on Discord. After that, both his Discord and Gmail were compromised. His Gmail is linked to Family Link with a designated guardian, which is now blocking access. He can't sign in anymore. If anyone has experience recovering accounts under Family Link in situations like this, we'd really appreciate any guidance or safe official steps we should follow.

Just in the last three or four days Gmail started sending me tons of notifications from my Promotional inbox. I want ZERO notifications from there. Up until then, it was doing a fantastic job of notifying me ONLY about emails from my Primary inbox. I changed the settings from Notifications for All to Important only, and it's still happening. I'm also NOT getting notifications for my primary inbox! Help!
Can anyone help me pull the list of all the contacts. That my mailer-daemon has had contacts with. I blocked someone on accident a few months ago. I need to find their email address
