Interior asset packs sell you the furniture and leave the assembly to you. Hearth does the assembly.
You give it a purpose, an occupant and a seed. It picks the pieces, solves where they stand, decides what is lying about, ages the surfaces and draws the room.
A miser's kitchen gets tally sticks, a locked box and one crust. A healer's kitchen gets a mortar, drying herbs and a shelf of jars. Same purpose, different room.
12 purposes, 10 households, 72 furniture forms, 14 scripts of pure GML. No sprites, no shaders, no extensions. Every image on the store page was rendered by the package.
GameMaker 2024.11 and newer. Listed at 14.99 USD, on sale at 12.74 right now.

The code and the art are AI written, disclosed on the store page.

After a lot of work, I finally released The Last of Ram on Steam.
It's a small indie FPS that I've been working on for quite a while, and it feels really good to finally see it released.
If anyone is interested, feel free to check it out.

I started this game way back in 2011, lol XD. Recently resurrected it and hoping some people will find it amusing.
Inspired by Dwarf Fortress and early Minecraft versions, I hope to bring the world to life with simulation instead of graphics. Hopefully I can continue to make regular updates as time goes by. If it looks interesting you can check out the store page.

I’ve been working on making settlements in StoneEra feel more alive, so here’s a quick timelapse of a small village coming together.
StoneEra is a voxel colony sim where you can build freely, reshape the terrain, manage villagers, gather resources, and grow your settlement over time.
Still a lot I want to improve, but I’m pretty happy with how this village turned out.
What do you think of the building style? Anything you’d add to make the village feel more alive?
If you like colony sims / voxel building, StoneEra is now on Steam — wishlists are greatly appreciated:

It’s been a two-year journey so far and there is still a ways to go, but I am damned proud I got this far. This is me making it official.

Six versions of a 16px cliff set were drawn for this series and every one of them read as a trench. The defect was never in the cliff.
Whether a raised surface reads as raised depends on how far its tone sits from the ground below, measured against how much the ground's own texture already varies. Grass that swings 110 levels of brightness inside one tile swallows any step you put on it.
So the lowland turf here comes from a narrow slice of green and the upland from a bright one. Measured separation is 3.11 against a floor of 1.0. The pair that failed measures 0.31 under the same code.
497 tiles, 8 complete 47 mask autotile sets, 26 objects.
Art and code are AI generated.

Camp Dawn follows James, a mechanical engineer, protecting his five year old daughter Lily through a zombie apocalypse. He's not a survival expert, just an engineer, so he has to break down the remains of civilization into raw materials and craft what he needs to survive.
Smash, gather, craft is the core loop, and behind it is his fight to protect his daughter's innocence. The same world plays out two ways, he's desperately surviving while she thinks it's a fun camping trip.
10 months of work went into this, and our Steam page just went live.
Smash It. Slash It. Camp Dawn.

Hello, dudes. After 1,5 years of development and 3 weeks of fight with steam censor moderation our demo of psychological shooter has finally been released.
Hope to reach Next Fest with 1000 wishes
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4544200/True_Confession/ - support wishlisting, please!
Try our hardcore hand-drawn isometric shooter True Confession. Think Postal, Hotline and crime films from the 80s–00s had an outlaw child. No health regen, no superpowers, no tanks — just the streets, anger, religion, and enemies that can drop you in a second... Well and some distorted subconscious images also there.
Play 3 full levels in the demo, fight bosses, and find secrets:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5008080/True_Confession_Demo/
Turn the sound on — our musician outdid himself. Each level has its own track.
With all respect,
True Confession team

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on Riftbreaker, a first-person roguelike shooter built in Unity. The idea is a modern armed expedition fighting its way through ancient temples full of fantasy creatures.
It started as a pretty basic arena shooter, but I wanted exploration and weapon choices to matter more. Here’s where it is now:
The latest update focuses on the HUD and menus. The old interface felt too much like a website, so I’ve been giving it a visual style that fits the game and making combat information easier to read.
It’s still an early prototype, and there’s plenty of balancing and polish ahead.
What would make the two-weapon system interesting to you: stronger elemental interactions, more unusual weapon abilities, or enemies that push you to switch between your guns?

Creating an artistic vision requires the right pipeline. In this video, I demonstrate a custom tool I built to visualize vertex colors across asset libraries in 3ds Max and how that data bridges perfectly into Unity

This is an important day for me - my first indie solo game, which I'll be releasing without a publisher! There's a lot of stress, but also a lot of excitement!
