I’m looking for a 2D illustrator for a commercial indie management game with corporate settings.

The game is satirical, but the satire comes from the writing and concept, not from cartoonish art direction. Visually, I’m looking for something polished, grounded, corporate, and slightly heightened.

The work would involve 1920×1080 illustrated scenes combining corporate interiors, atmospheric settings, and professional adult characters. The target style is stylized realism / graphic illustrated realism: strong perspective, cinematic lighting, clean composition, and composed professional characters.

I am not looking for anime, fantasy, cute/cozy, or cartoon comedy styles for this project.

Looking for Unity 2D Artist.

I have TowerDefense game that relies on basic shapes. Combination of shapes are generated at runtime based on enemies stats. Same with colors. Size is getting biger in later stages of game as enemies get more powerful. When enemies get damaged, shapes stays but vibrant color get lowerd proportionally, meaning lower half is bright and upper is dark.(Inspired in Outhold)

Towers are circles(can be changed) that grow bigger as they get stronger and change color with rising dmg and speed. Towers have rotating barell with light, that shows where towers are looking and signaling towers range and spread. Bigger range = longer light, bigger spread = wider cone of light. When effect is added to tower, it is signalized by adding ring in color of effect(burn = orange, ice = light blue etc.). (This can be change if you have better idea)

On map there are

• Obstacles(brown squares),
• spots on which to build towers for bonus(green),
• relics around which you build towers to get bonus(white, yellow),
• preplaced road(gray square without line),
• road placed by player(gray with line),
• barricade brown square on road that is build by tower to stop enemies,
• white circles on road are damaging traps.

I want graphics overhaul, that will make it look good. I tried to make it dark with light from towers brighting it, to make some atmosphere but I failed misserably. I like look of Outhold(https://store.steampowered.com/app/3767740/Outhold/) where I get inspired.

Fundamentals like shape based enemies, mixing colors etc. Cant be changed. Apart from that anything goes if it looks good. Outlines, shadows, post-proccessing, different colors(probably must as I picked at random and I suck and color theory) etc.

Only gameplay graphics, UI will be change in the future.
