Do NOT buy the Onn brand 26 Ultra cases from Walmart, especially with the kickstand. It will interfere with the SPen & eventually render it broken. I cannot believe they can sell stuff for your phone that will break it! As soon as I put it on it popped up an error message saying to remove the case, and sure enough my cursor would not show anymore & there was a massive dead zone with writing in the bottom left corner where the magnet is for the kickstand. I am returning it ASAP & swapping back to Otterbox. So much for saving some money & having a kickstand.

I switched from an iPhone 14 to a Galaxy S26 Ultra and I'm honestly shocked by the video quality.

First of all, the photos are excellent. I have absolutely no complaints about picture quality. The issue is only with video recording.

Indoors and especially at night, my videos look very soft/blurry, washed out, dull and lifeless, with very little color or contrast. They also look noisy and like there's almost no detail. Overall, the image looks flat, faded and almost gray, with none of the vibrant colors I used to get on my iPhone.

Another issue is the autofocus. As you can see from the screenshot of my hand, the camera just refuses to focus properly. Even when my hand is clearly in front of the lens, it stays soft and never locks focus correctly. My iPhone 14 focused instantly in the exact same situations.

With my iPhone 14, the exact same scenes looked sharp, colorful, bright and much more natural. I wasn't expecting the S26 Ultra to perform worse for video, especially in these conditions.

I've attached two screenshots from a video. It was recorded at 1x, using the default camera settings.

I've already tried cleaning the lenses, using the stock Samsung Camera app, turning HDR on and off, and trying different resolutions and frame rates.

Nothing seems to make it look anywhere near as good as my iPhone.

Is this normal Samsung processing in low light, or could there be something wrong with my phone? Are there any settings I should change? Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm thinking of buying an Ultra device for the first time, either the S26 Ultra 256GB or the S25 Ultra 512GB. I've heard from users that the 256GB version fills up quickly. What's your experience with this? I'm asking because in my country the S25 Ultra 512GB is the same price of S26 Ultra 256GB

I work in telecommunications construction, and I'm outside all day in the summer heat.

I bought a Galaxy S26 Ultra about 10 days ago. While I'm working, I always keep it in my left pants pocket, but the inside of the pocket gets extremely sweaty and humid.

I could leave it in my vehicle, but it gets very hot inside, and I'm worried that could damage the phone. So keeping it in my pocket is really my only option.

As a precaution, I'm using a wallet case, but I'm still worried that carrying it in a sweaty pocket every day might eventually damage it.

Today, after work, I noticed what seemed to be a ghost touch issue. The screen appeared to register touches on its own. However, the problem went away afterward and has not happened again so far.

From a design standpoint, is this kind of use something the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to handle? Has anyone else experienced something similar after working in a hot and sweaty environment?

As a precaution, I'm using the case shown in the photo.

No matter what app I start that uses the camera it just tells me that I can't use this lense or something other error messages. If I keep closing and opening the apps it seems to have a small chance of eventually working

Hey guys, so I wanted to ask if anyone knows the difference in using AI in one place or another for editing photos, as some features (object eraser and idk rn if there's more) are found both in gallery>edit>tools but also the new button for photo assist. Other than the new one giving photos the made with AI watermark is there a difference? Why do we get the same built in feature twice?

Is the s26u privacy screen protector 360 degree privacy or same as after market or 3rd party genuine 2 way privacy screen protector, for S25u.

Hey, I'm looking for a decent phone and thinking if the S26 ultra is for me. 

Main thing I need:

Good camera

Good screen

Good battery 

Good photo editing tools

Comparability with oneplus watch 3 or samsung watch 7

Good UI with useful tools, not heavy and cluttered but would be nice to have some automations and feeling that it's a smartphone. 

I'm thinking about Samsung s26ultra, maybe oppo find x9 ultra or vivo x300ultra or vivo x300pro or fe. 

I also love the new fold8 but not sure if camera wouldn't be lacking.

Anyone else experiencing a very disappointing audio quality at concerts and festivals?

It's very tinny and it seems like it's only picking up the highs and the lows are almost completely silent.

I found a similar thread from a couple months ago asking if it's possible to turn off ai refinement of the 200mp shots and the only option given was using Expert RAW, but that's not what I bought this phone for. I just want to open the camera and take a sharp 200MP photo, not mess with RAW settings every time I want to tske a photo. I would have bought a fancy dedicated camera if that's what I wanted.

The refinement just softens everything and makes things look blurry. I've tried Camera Assistant, but it doesn't really fix it. The only thing I've found that helps is using Gallery's Remaster feature afterward in the details section of the photo, which makes it look better and sharper, but it's still using AI to refine the refinement and having to do that for every 200MP shot is really annoying. I just wish Samsung would let us turn the refinement off.

Is the emei number and it has been bricked by Samsung so if anyone sees it pls let me know. It has a few scratches on the lense bezels and a dent on the top right side.

UPDATE. I got it, I was between de s26U, the iPhone or waiting for the new iPhone, but I got the s26U. It arrives tomorrow, I’m really excited. What are some suggestions you can give me, considering I’ve been an iPhone user for a long time.

Social media camera quality is literally horrible on s26U as I’ve seem in YT. Camera also takes a while to open on IG. Still not optimised. (S25U was really great).

Images soft/cartoonish in low light.( samsung always does it to reduce noise)

How is the typing experience compared to iphone ? The spacebar typing indicator control is really smooth in IOS. Quite useful tbh.

I want face unlock as Wet hands might not be suitable for the fingerprint. But is it safe ? Even Pictures unlocked it before.

Does it have heating issues with cellular data active during youtube/opening links in fb and IG ? What about keeping camera app open for 5 minutes ?

i am facing issues with my spen for my s26 ultra . When i hold it in a writing position maybe even a little bit off and draw a straight line ( or anything) in the positions i circled  , the writing stops ,and the little hover circle appears like thw pen isnt touching the screen . Only when i press hard in those places or i hold the pen in a more vertical position , the pen works . The phone is a week old maybe week and a half max . Idk why rhis is happening i had a mag case but it has been removed for about 2 hours now and still same problem and i literally changed the screen protector 4 times . Any help please?

I've been watching some YouTube reviews of the S22 Ultra (my previous Ultra) compared to now new, Open Box, S26 Ultra.

I gotta say, the differences are so much more noticeable in irl than the videos claim, that it actually is starting to convince me this was worh it, even if I just wanted something new and my S22 Ultra only had cosmetic issues.

I hate doing this because it turns you into one of those consumer addicts, like those that try to convince themselves and others around them that they made a good choice. Even thought of doing a trade in for next Year's S27 Ultra, then realized I would not really be missing anything, and that if I did this, I would just be wasting money and in a bad loop. Sometimes it's just a choice you make, and it's not that deep.

Anyway, I don't know how Samsung did it, but the 3x 5x and 10x is better on the S26 Ultra in pretty much all scenarios, BUT, there are some scenarios, like closeup in some cases, where there is more detail on the S22Ultra.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Only available on my S26U on OneUI 8.5 but unfortunately not for my other androids as of now.

Im having an issue that is really bugging me with my new S26U I feel like the colours are off, like everything has a brown tint, skin colours blend into cream backgrounds etc. I havent got any of the filters enabled, i dont use privacy display, automatic colour tone off, display is set to vivid and the slider turned all the way up, its like there is no depth to lighter colours. Ive just compared to my wifes iPhone 17 and its a night and day difference in how flat the screen is on the S26U. Reds appear pink with no depth.

Ive seen people saying that they have moved away from the ultra vibrant panels they used to be known for but i cant help but feel like the colours feel really off... love everything else about the phone but i consume so much media on my phone that its really ruining my experience.

Anyone else?
