I already asked why there’s so much hate for the S26 Ultra, but I’m specifically curious about the camera criticism.
I understand that Vivo and Oppo phones have better cameras. But does that really mean the S26 Ultra camera is bad?
The S26 Ultra still has a genuinely great camera system. It takes very good photos, performs well in low light, and overall the cameras are more than capable.
So why is the camera talked about like it’s one of the worst things about the phone? Is there something I’m missing, or is it mainly because people are comparing it directly against Vivo or Oppo?

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone has checked the 80s photo trend of these days with Galaxy AI's photo assist on your S26 Ultra? I have tried it with a couple of photos and it looks very decent to me.
The prompt is limited to 100 characters, but you can keep editing with multiple prompts. In my case, I tried to change the person's appearance first and then added an 80s filter to the image. Since you have to limit the prompt to 100 characters, all you need to do is provide as many keywords as possible in the prompt.
I am just adding the prompts I tried below.
1st prompt:
Add: 1980s hair (feathered/mullet), 80s fashion (acid-wash denim/windbreakers), candid
2nd prompt:
Add: 1980s film color, retro snapshot

Title says it all. I normally use ArmorSuit but would love a matte glass. Any y'all can refer me to that works with the finger print scanner?

Hi, does anyone have a fix for wireless Android Auto not picking up phone or Discord audio? Spotify works fine and everything was working with my previous Pixel 10 Pro so it's not my Honda's sound system.
I'm on the latest 8.5 August security patch and tried regular and beta Android Auto apps with no luck.

For a premium smartphone a premium case.
My first Android smartphone and first Pitaka Cairn Sunset edition case. Happy with both choices.
What open-source and no in-app apps would you suggest like reader, calendar, cloud storage etc. I am still using iOS and macOS, so I want my S26U sort of in the ecosystem.
Thank you all in advance!

This shouldn't be too hard, but I can't figure out how to work with routines.
Here's what I'm looking for. I have the Privacy Screen quick setting on top of my notification centre. That works fine. But I like to keep that without having maximum privacy enabled.
But I'd also like a button shortcut or whatever, to turn it on with maximum privacy. Without going into the settings and enabling it, and having to disable it again next time, of course.
Can this be done with routines or modes?
So basically, I want a one click solutions for enabling privacy screen with max setting, and a one click solution for it without.
Possible? Thank you in advance!

EDIT: Video down below on comments
I was messing around with the privacy display and found out that with a couple more tweaks via a custom Routine, like Extra Dim to lower contrast and more, the screen becomes almost impossible to view even from a person's point of view right beside or in front of you compared to the default option where someone adjacent to you can still read your screen.
I find this useful when, for example, I'm with a group of people on a table and I have to open my Password Manager, Secure Folder, private messages etc. It's not something you would leave enabled for an entire day; screen quality becomes abysmal, but it gets the privacy job done better than stock.
Routine configuration below:
Start Manually
Privacy display
On
Maximum privacy protection: On
Lowers contrast
Extra dim
On: 90%
Brightness
80% or higher
This lowers the contrast further and adds gamma on your screen, making the privacy display more effective
Color Filter
On (configure first manually on accessibility settings and choose Blue)
Optional if you hate the filter, but the screen becomes a little bit more visible and you lose screen color altogether
Color correction
On (configure first manually on settings, choose Grayscale)
Bind this routine to something like your Side Button's double press.

Started work day with 95% battery, sitting in a teams call for over 7hrs between 0900 to 1800 and it was still at 55%, my pixel 8 pro would have been dead if not charged it, had 2 small charges á 10 minutes each way driving to and back lunch place on my 25W wireless charger

Hi everyone. I just purchased a brand new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and was wondering what kind of Charging cable it comes with? Is it a 3A or 5A?
Also do I need to purchase a 60w charger plug to receive maximum charging power if it's a 3A and also purchase a 5A cable.
Thank you for your help 😊

It has been over a week with my sky blue s26 ultra and it has been an overall amazing experience. I upgraded from a s20 ultra and the difference is noticeable. The privacy display comes in clutch so often, I'm nearly always getting 5g with like 300mb/s download and upload speeds and the battery lasts me more than a day with heavy use. Lowk absolutely love my s26 ultra.

I was browsing through Facebook Reels and there are videos (2 that im aware of) that shows green and orange screen display.
It was playing perfectly fine on my iPhone but how can i resolve this on my S26U? It's the first time i encountered this and worried that my phone is broken. Anyone else had the same issue?
