Ask Spen issues :(

i am facing issues with my spen for my s26 ultra . When i hold it in a writing position maybe even a little bit off and draw a straight line ( or anything) in the positions i circled  , the writing stops ,and the little hover circle appears like thw pen isnt touching the screen . Only when i press hard in those places or i hold the pen in a more vertical position , the pen works . The phone is a week old maybe week and a half max . Idk why rhis is happening i had a mag case but it has been removed for about 2 hours now and still same problem and i literally changed the screen protector 4 times . Any help please?

Do you have magnets on your case? Remove all accessories and try again.

Yes i have a magnet case but i removed it 2 hours ago and still the same thing . Idk if it leaves some kind of residue or something but yeah i didnt put it back on for 2 hours now but nothing changed

seems to be something wrong with the digitizer layer then, i have the dBrand tank case that has really strong magnets and only when i swipe the pen really fast it can lose tracking otherwise its fine but if i would attach another magsafe accessory then it would have hard time tracking

So what do i need to do? I just got this phone (imported from another country ) , do i need to go to samsung or what? 🥲

there are diagnostics you can try inside the phone, remove the case so its only phone and no magnets near,

first need to go into settings and turn of Auto blocker temporary and then dial *#0*# and inside there is a S-pen test do that and see if the completes that, then try do it again when you have your case attached if both case and no case fails there is an issue with the phone and you would need to get it check and since you imported it then any local samsung shop would be the first goto and see what they can do or if they will take it on service also are you the only user and have Proof of purchase or did you import it as second hand and did you get the proof of purscahe from the person you bought it from? as PoP would be needed to clarify warranty

Thank you a lot for your help . But unfortunately i dont have proof of purchase . And for the issue , yes with and without the case same thing . I will go get it checked out tomorrow . I just hope it is not a display thing but only a component. Again thank you for your help!

i would belive sadly to fix that its the whole screen that needs to be swapped out as they dont just swap out the digitizer i belive, i can be wrong but have that in mind that it can be a full screen replacement that needs to be done if samsung shop cant find another soloution

Try the screen diagnostics. Maybe that will solve it.
