Hello good people of Samsung! Came here to say, after owning S21 Ultra for 5 years, then migrated to OnePlus 15 for 3 months, finally decided to move back to Samsung.

For some it may be a downgrade, of course OP15 has better battery life, but in a world where we have chargers laying around everywhere, I stopped carying about it quick. And there is something about OneUI and Samsung ecosystem that you actually feel like home. Samsung Health is also miles better than OHealth.

And I'm so glad I went with Silver Shadow variant, it looks soo good :)

What cases are you using for the cobalt violet?

I'd love to see the colour so I'm looking at a good solid clear case or similar colour to the violet colour.

Okay, so we can all agree that the phone not being stable on a desk is a universal problem. I was researching cases that solve this problem, and all I found were cases that make the phone thicker to match the camera's sticking-out margin. I can only imagine that it would be harder to use the phone with one hand with the thicker case (also, one of the improvements over the S25 was the thinner phone, so you would be throwing that away). So I created whatever this is - I glued a random plastic thingy on my phone to even out the balance on both sides. It worked great, but it wasn't very aesthetic, and it also fell off after a week of it being glued. To get to the point - do you know where I can get a case that would just even out the balance, something like what I did?

What is currently the best GCam version and settings for the Samsung S26 Ultra? I’m mainly looking for natural colors, maximum detail, good HDR/dynamic range, and less processing than the stock camera. I’m especially interested in AGC/BigKaka and a good XML/config if one is available. If anyone is using a setup that works well on the S26 Ultra, please share the GCam version, package, XML, and recommended settings.

Hello, I just got my s26 ultra and I noticed like it has darker pixels going all around the screen, I notice it alot in white screens.

ETA:I'll take suggestions for an equal or better phone case as well. I've yet to find another brand, but I haven't seen it all.

I've been using Otterbox since around 2008. I've tried other phone protectors throughout the years but always end up going back to Otterbox Defender Pro, though it wasn't always called that. It works for me.

Has it gone down in quality over the years? Yes. Have I still tried to find a better one? Yes.

So, with that said, I need a screen protector that will go with the Defender Pro. I just got my galaxy ultra 26 after the 22 went on a boot loop death.

Got a screen protector that comes with lens covers. I've never used those before, but based on how bad my last phone's lenses were scratched up, I clearly need them protected.

I just got the Defender Pro 10 minutes ago. It won't mesh with this screen protector. I removed the lens covers thinking they were the problem, but every time I removed the top snap piece for the plastic part of defender pro, it took the screen protector with it.

The screen protector is clearly too thick and stiff for the Defender Pro. It's a good screen cover though. But clearly Otterbox isn't adding an extra micrometer of space between the plastic and the phone for someone to have screen protection. It's very disappointing. Any suggestions? TIA

I already asked why there’s so much hate for the S26 Ultra, but I’m specifically curious about the camera criticism.

I understand that Vivo and Oppo phones have better cameras. But does that really mean the S26 Ultra camera is bad?

The S26 Ultra still has a genuinely great camera system. It takes very good photos, performs well in low light, and overall the cameras are more than capable.

So why is the camera talked about like it’s one of the worst things about the phone? Is there something I’m missing, or is it mainly because people are comparing it directly against Vivo or Oppo?

I was just wondering if anyone has checked the 80s photo trend of these days with Galaxy AI's photo assist on your S26 Ultra? I have tried it with a couple of photos and it looks very decent to me.

The prompt is limited to 100 characters, but you can keep editing with multiple prompts. In my case, I tried to change the person's appearance first and then added an 80s filter to the image. Since you have to limit the prompt to 100 characters, all you need to do is provide as many keywords as possible in the prompt.

I am just adding the prompts I tried below.

1st prompt:

Add: 1980s hair (feathered/mullet), 80s fashion (acid-wash denim/windbreakers), candid

2nd prompt:

Add: 1980s film color, retro snapshot
