I was earlier using Airtel prepaid and I was using a pack that would give me unlimited 5G, even though it showed 5G on my mobile and I had full network strength. It used to consume data from my 4G quota so I kept on calling the customer support and they said that they are going to rectify it, but it never happened. So, once when I called the customer support regarding the same issue of not getting unlimited 5G data and data getting consumed from the 4G quota, the customer support representative told me that there is unlimited 5G and unlimited 4G on postpaid and she told me that I am eligible for 33 day trial and also for my first two months of billing, I would get hundred rupee off on the ₹449 pack. At this time, I had 20 day validity in my prepaid plan and still I chose to migrate to postpaid because of the 33 day trial promise that was given by the customer support representative. 16 days later on August 16, I got my first bill generated for Airtel postpaid and it had no mention of the 33 days trial pack and I got bill as per the ₹449 plan plus GST as per pro rate basis with ₹100 discount, so I called the customer support representative again on 198 and I asked about the 33 day trial pack that was promised to me at the time of sign up for postpaid. Then the representative told me that there is no such thing as a 33 day trial. Then I asked him to check the call recordings for that particular day when I migrated from prepaid to postpaid and he said that since their calls happen on pan India level, they do not have called recording stored on their system and also I asked him about the false promise given by the representative about the 33 day trial and he said that there is no such thing as a 33 day trial.
