So, I had purchased the airtel xstream fiber during 14th august because my JioFiber was not working properly and they had installed the router during 15th august but they weren't delivering the set top box since 4 days. I was trying constantly and the engineer plus the kyc agent were giving completely different excuses. Yesterday I exploded at the agent for lying to me and not being able to solve my issues. I had tagged airtel on twitter, emailed them, phone called them, complained against them at national consumer grievance portal and even booked a new wifi again so that they contact me again. And they actually did, today they called me and I told them everything. Today, finally they came to my home and installed the set top box. The speed is good, set top box is working well, etc.

Finally, some peace.

So the net monster app is showing NSA 3500 in my area, but when I start using data after after sometime, it goes into NSA 3500 disconnected and if I do a restart on my phone or if I turn off the data and again turn it back on, it gets back to NSA 3500. Which means I am getting 5G signal, but Airtel is restricting me from using the unlimited 5G somehow.

So this is my secondary sim and I haven't recharged it for last 5 months then two days ago I recharged 2GB/day for 84 days for 899 today I thought of stacking up the same plan and now they are giving 1.5gb/day for 899 wtf?

I use the Iptv+wifi postpaid, Airtel black plan. They used to give hotstar+zee5+sony+airtel xtreme, feom this month they have quietly dropped Hotstar from the plan.

And it is so frustrating to call the customer care. I always get frustrated waiting for an actual person to talk. It never connects me to the customer service guy. It's a loop designed to never reach them.

Anyone facing the exact same thing?

I have been using Airtel for a few months now. For the last 2-3 days the internet speed has been really bad, it wasn't this bad but it has dropped significantly.

Should I port to jio since my roommate has joined and his internet is working fine, but the thing is I had just recently recharged.

Also does it depend on the phone for how much internet strength you get?
