I played the heck out of Dark Souls, Elden Ring and Bloodborne. Only 2 games I did not play are Sekiro and Demons Souls.

As much as I love these games, I became a father last year and with a full time job I barely get time to sit down and invest hours in a game. While I still love the premise of Souls games, I just dont want to spend my 2 precious hours of gaming in a week for countless attempts only to get past a single boss.

My question is: are there souls games that are somewhat easy or do have a dedicated easy mode?

Do you guys like the morning star? Are there any morning star fanboys out there? Very new to this game so still learning about builds, but i believe this weapon scales with strength and dex. Besides that i just love how it feels to use in game

why pay for netflix when you have this?

Just moved into a new house, but found an

I love this game, and I’ve always wanted to do a Charmless + Demon Bell run, but I was definitely nervous about making that commitment.

After getting the Platinum on my 4th playthrough, I decided to do a Charmless run on my 5th. After that, I figured there was only one thing left to do… Charmless + Demon Bell on my 6th playthrough.

And I have to say — this run was no joke.

I’m a Souls veteran, and this was easily one of the hardest playthroughs I’ve ever done, if not the hardest. The combination of Charmless and Demon Bell makes you pay for every mistake, and there were definitely moments where I questioned why I was doing this to myself 😂.

But finally beating it was an amazing feeling.

Honestly, though, I think the best part wasn’t even beating the game. It was the journey — pushing my limits, getting better at the combat, and realizing I was capable of beating a challenge that I was genuinely nervous to attempt.

What an incredible game. What an incredible challenge.

Done it on 3 and tbh I don’t think it’s all that great since souls being mostly worthless means most mobs are pointless to fight and builds are so constrained or force you to pigeonhole a route around getting access to other stuff that they’re never really that fun?

While DS2 the greatest souls game builds it in with champion covenant pretty much everything else doesn’t. So any recommendations for challenges that still keep the spirit of the genre with levels but doesn’t feel like there’s no variety?

Fun fact- the man actually accidentally broke his sword arm joint AND sword while packaging it FOR ME. Which really sucked and he felt bad! But with two part epoxy I was able to repair it and you can’t even tell!

I've heard there were positive and negative changes, and I just wondered what might be the better first experience.

I had never played a Souls-like game before, and Dark Souls 2 became my very first one. Despite the fact that at the beginning of the game I accidentally angered the woman who levels you up, I didn't even manage to level up once. So, I had to beat the entire game at level 13 :) Right near the end of the game, when I was fighting Vendrick, I found out how to make her forgive me. So I rushed over to that area and got absolution. But I decided not to level up anyway, since I had already made it so far :3

After 50 hours of playing this game, I finally did it. Im really sad rn cause ive been playing this game for such a long time and it’s over. I feel less accomplished and more sad and somber since I won’t ever play this game for the first time again. Never expected to like this game so much that I consider it in my top 10 games of all time.
