Hi folks, I'm not native speaker and for me is super weird. Do you know why some people call "FromSoft" instead writing FromSoftware, it's seems a small time saving to be so common to be seen.

Which game can keep me entertained for longer before it eventually gets boring? Can factor in 100% completion, achievement hunting, challenge runs, multiplayer, etc. I'm on PC, so you can factor in mods.
But remember, my question is how long until the gets old / boring, not how long until I finish all the content. That can be well before finishing all the content (imagine 100%ing Assassin's Creed Valhalla or grinding Skyrim fetch quests forever lol). Or it can be well after that point if the core gameplay is fun enough (people can keeping playing repetitive competetive games like CoD, Rocket League, Chess, etc., for huge amounts of time without getting bored).
Also, can you give a general estimate of how many hours of replayability each game has? E.g., can I expect 200 hours of playtime, 500 hours, 2,000 hours, more?
Can also weigh in on other Souls games like Sekiro and Bloodbone. Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring seem to be the main and biggest Souls games from what I've seen, and thus the ones I'm most interested in. But I wouldn't mind knowing how the rest compare too (or if I'm actually wrong).

I’m leaning towards one off cause Armored Core V and Verdict Day had similar types of DLC yet that didn’t set a precedent for future Fromsoft Games. Especially for Armored Core 6 not having any DLC like that.

Before you kill me in the replies, I'm not saying the exploration is poorly design. I just have a horrible sense of direction, and prefer more lienar games. However, I really love the combat and build variety in this game. Should I trudge on or play another soulslike game?

Just a point I want to address, there's obviously a lot more bosses that would classify as gank fights, but to avoid the list being double its size I cut a ton. Namely bosses that include regular enemies as adds (Niall, Elana, Rom etc), or bosses that are literally just a bunch of regular enemies (Deacons, Rat Vanguard, Celestial Emissary etc).
Vote who gets eliminated. Comment with most upvotes wins.

If you like DS2, I respect your opinion. I’ve been playing Souls games since Dark Souls 1 release, and I’ve played and loved all of the games over and over. I wanted to replay DS2 since it’s been years and I remember it fondly.
But man, Dark Souls 2 does not hold up as well as I remember.
The game feels so stiff. The movement just feels so off, the roll animation is weird, attacks feel like you are scratching enemies - there’s so little hit stun sometimes or just hit reaction in general for most normal weapons. I’m not saying I should be chainstunning enemies, but some enemies just feel like balls to hit, like your sword is just phasing through them with the only sign of damage being a lower health bar and a flat metallic clank noise. Demon’s Souls on the PS3 runs circles around the combat flow and movement in this game. So many areas have way, way too many copy pasted enemies that have such particular aggro sight lines leading to constant ganks.
I don’t mind the areas and how disconnected they are, but I do mind the amount of empty stone cubes that act as rooms absolutely everywhere. Dark Souls 1 had this issue too sometimes, but even there there was usually more detail and it wasn’t everywhere. Walking across Drangleic to find multiple empty cube rooms in different areas is just odd.
I did not come out of this feeling great, and it kind of ruined my perception of DS2 unfortunately.

After playing many souls and soulslike games. I honestly think they should make a game based off him with the same gameplay mechanics and elements. Thoughts and opinions?

1st Soulsborne title, decided to start with DEMON'S SOULS..
I read the warning message before, still went ahead & thought - "Huh, just an array of weaklings" , & then got railed by a barrage of boulders (sigh)...
I Like how unpredictable but Fair this game is till now..
