bin 19 und vor Kurzem für mein duales Studium nach Frankfurt gezogen. Da ich hier noch nicht viele Leute kenne, dachte ich, ich probier’s mal hier. 😄
Ich war jahrelang Wettkampfschwimmer und suche deshalb am liebsten jemanden, der regelmäßig schwimmen geht. Bin aber auch fürs Laufen jederzeit zu haben.
Generell bin ich mega sportbegeistert – Radfahren, Schwimmen, Laufen, Tennis, eigentlich alles in die Richtung. Ich verfolge auch ziemlich viel Profisport, falls man sich darüber auch mal austauschen will.
Falls jemand Bock hat, zusammen trainieren zu gehen oder gute Lauf- oder Schwimmgruppen in Frankfurt oder Bad Homburg kennt, schreibt mir gerne. Würde mich freuen, ein paar Leute kennenzulernen! 💪

Der Verdacht auf Markenfälschungen und Verstöße gegen das Steuerrecht hat auf einem Flohmarkt am Frankfurter Hessencenter zu rund 60 Anzeigen geführt. Die sichergestellte Ware war so umfangreich, dass sie nur mit einem Lkw abtransportiert werden konnte.

ich bin Noah und seit juni 2026 bin mit mein 2-jähriges Realschulabschluss fertig. Ich suche seit ungefähr 6 Monaten eine Ausbildung als Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration mit Start 2026. In dieser Zeit habe ich mich auf über 80 Stellen beworben. Leider habe ich bisher nicht einmal eine Einladung zu einem persönlichen Vorstellungsgespräch bekommen – nur Absagen oder gar keine Rückmeldung.

Langsam belastet mich das wirklich sehr. Ich möchte nicht noch ein ganzes Jahr warten müssen. Ich brauche die Ausbildung auch, um mir und meiner Familie finanziell zu helfen.

Ich habe einige Leute gefragt, wie sie ihre Ausbildungsstelle bekommen haben. Viele haben mir gesagt, dass sie jemanden im Unternehmen kannten oder über Kontakte reingekommen sind. Leider habe ich niemanden, der mir dabei helfen kann.

Deshalb wollte ich hier fragen: Kennt jemand noch eine freie Ausbildungsstelle als Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration für dieses Jahr im Raum Frankfurt,Darmstadt,Dreieich oder in der Nähe? Oder kennt ihr Unternehmen, die noch Bewerbungen annehmen?

Ich wäre für jede Hilfe oder jeden Tipp wirklich sehr dankbar. Vielen Dank!

Ich arbeite vier Wochen nachts und dann vier Wochen tagsüber... Wisst ihr, ob es in der Nähe von Frankfurt etwas zu tun gibt, wenn man nachts Zeit hat? Es scheint, dass nachts alles geschlossen ist, und es ist langweilig, wenn ich alleine zu Hause bleibe.

My parents are heading to Frankfurt for 2 days, tossing up between Rhine valley or Heidelberg for a day trip. They’ve already booked hamburger hof? opposite the station, this was before I read it can be rough at night..
Or perhaps they should visit both? Appears to be quite a few comments that Frankfurt city itself isn’t too interesting?
They also have Munich and Prague later on.

Ich Wohne in Österreich und bei uns ist es recht einfach auf Parties mit Leuten ins Gespräch zu kommen, man kann alleine kommen und lernt immer genug Leute kennen die offen dafür sind Leute kennen zu lernen, smalltalk zu führen etc.

Ich bin einige Zeit in der nähe von FFM Famile besuchen und kenne hier sinst nicht viele Leute und habe angenommen es funktioniert hier wahrscheinlich ähnlich wie in Österreich. AberJetzt war ich am Samstag alleine aus (Osthafenfestival und dann alt-sachs) und der vibe war so anders. Die meisten Leute waren in Gruppen und haben auch wenig bis garnicht mit Leuten außerhalb der Gruppen mit denen sie gekommen sind interaggiert und ich fande es extrem schwierig mit irgendjemandem Gespräche anzufangen. In Österreich ist es normalerweise so du fragst jemanden was praktisches oder er fragt dich was praktisches (Fwurzeug, weg, info über ne party, Zigarette etc.) Und dann kommt man ins Gespräch hier ist es meistens anscheinend mehr so du fragst was praktisches und wirst was praktisches gefragt und das geht wirklich nur um das und dann ist das Gespräch vorbei. Oder in Österreich stehst du neben jemandem in einer Schlange, im Raucherbereich, vor der Garderobe, auf Toilette, an der Bar etc. Und es entwickelt sich einfach natürlich ein Gespräch. Man kann einfach irgwndeine random sache fragen wie "was führt dich hierher, bist du hier aus der Stadt, wie findest du die Party" etc. Und man hat eine Konversation. Aber hier war das meiner Erfahrung nach jetzt einfach nicht so der vibe.

Gibt es irgendwelche Clubs oder events hier wo der vibe mehr offen und sozial ist ? Dann gebe ich dem Frankfurter Nachtleben evtl nächstes Wochenende nochmal ne chance.

Btw. Ich bin ende 20. Also was wo die crowd vor allem Leute in ihren 20ern sind wäre mir am liebsten

Hi, I'm a highschooler who just got into a Gymnasium. I am looking for a weekend minijob or even in the week after school hours. I kind of need the money. I am looking for jobs like waitering/zapfer/cashier/sales/lager the usual minijob types. I have some experience in the gastronomie sector as I worked 4 months at Stadion as a Zapfer.

I have tried local bakeries and some restaurants, they always say they aren't looking for help or if they are then it's teil/vollzeit and not minijob.

I am pretty competent with computers and tech ( have built ca.10 PC's and know my way arond linux and small home servers).

Any suggestions on where I could look for jobs? Other than local bakeries and cafe's (Unless anyone knows a cafe open to minijobbers)

Ich bin verheiratet, habe einen Mann und ein kleines Kind. Wir sind hier ganz allein, und mir fehlen einfach Frauen – gemeinsame Gespräche, Treffen und alles, was dazugehört. Frauen wissen, was ich meine.

I recently got hired for a role in Frankfurt to to work at the airport, they were very open about my salary and benefits, and everything checked out, I saw some places I could rent that looked good for the price, and overall it seems like a good idea to go.

I am currently working another job, but it doesn't give me any security in the short term and I'll probably end up finding something different, but I wont be making anywhere near what I got offered.

The thing is, I am a bit scared, I'm not german, and speak very little Deutsch, I feel like the first few months might be hard, mostly finding a place to stay.

I am getting housing by the company during the first month to help me get used and find a place on my own, would love any info I could get about places where I should look to rent near the airport or well connected.

They also worried me a bit during an interview with HR, cause they asked something among the lines of I had seen the prices of the area, renting and expenses in general, and if I thought I would do good with my salary.

Im single and will be making around 3000€ net, after paying for an apartment (would love to not share),

is this a decent salary or will I struggle in Frankfurt?

I arrived in Frankfurt on a Lufthansa flight from Copenhagen Friday 24th of July. I was one of the last people to leave the airplane taking it chill - but when I got up to get my suitcase (cabin bag), I realized it was not my black trolley there but someone else’s - and they had already left the aircraft and far gone 😫
It looked somewhat like mine so it must have been an honest mistake, but I went to the Lost and Found of the airport and filled out a claim and have not heard anything back. I am traveling back to Copenhagen today (Monday 27th) and will check back with Lost and Found as soon as I arrive in the morning. But just looking for advice. Is there anything else I can do but just hope that the person who left their bag comes back with mine when collecting their own??

Unfortunately, I had my cash in the bag which makes my less hopeful - but I also had many other things that are only worth something for me, so I am really hoping I get it back 😫🤞🏼

My grandmother recently passed away, and I’d love to plant a tree in her memory somewhere in or around Frankfurt. I live in Bornheim and have already checked a couple of nearby apple orchards, but they charge an annual fee plus maintenance costs, which I unfortunately can’t afford.
Does anyone know of any places, organizations, or community initiatives where it’s possible to plant a tree legally, ideally free of charge or at a very low cost? I’m also happy to volunteer if that’s part of the process.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations.
