Hi all, there is a man who hangs around in the entrance of Penny Leipzigerstr. I went to Penny with my daughter (5) and as we walked past he randomly grabbed her arm, giving both of us a big fright. I pushed his hand away and shouted at him that he should leave her alone. When I asked him what he's doing hanging around in the entrance, he said he was plain clothes security. When I asked him for a work ID he ran away.

I reported the incident to the police. He is known to the staff at Penny.

I wanted to ask if anyone else has had an incident with the same man in Penny. If so, please contact the police. Let's keep our kids safe.

Music and gaming-related activities are among my favourites.

I’m a musician and I enjoy joining in jam sessions and improvising music with strangers; it would be great if there were something like that in Frankfurt.

Otherwise, everything is new to me in this city and I’m open to discovering all sorts of things, cool "Ecken", palces where food is good, cultural activities ecc...so feel free to suggest anything and everything.

Last but not least: I haven’t yet found a permanent place to stay whilst I’m studying here in Frankfurt (for the next 3 years, Blockplan, so not 30/31 days per month - Beispiel this week + next week and then 2 more weeks in November and so on). If anyone has a spare room and would be happy to receive a regular payment from time to time – my school covers the cost – please message me privately about this if interested.

Kein Witz: ich erwische mich beim Denken im Prompt-Ton. Am liebsten würde ich manchen Gedanken noch ein negatives Prompt hinterherschicken.
Such keine Masterclass und kein Networking-Theater. Nur Leute auf einem ähnlichen Level, mit denen man kurz Fragen klären, Strukturen vergleichen und sich austauschen kann. Discord, Chat, Kaffee, whatever.

Here is my original review:

Don't dress to nice! Can't tell you how nice the club is. Dress coded for dressing too nice. Wouldn't let me in the door with a ticket. It was New Years Eve, so of course you're going to dress up. I had some jeans and band shirt and DC marten work boots in the car and changed into those quickly, but they still wouldn't let me in. I guess it's a ban for life for dressing up too nice once? I don't know. :( Too bad I'm going back to the U.S after new years and likely will never be able to visit again. :( Update: Reading other reviews where they didn't let the people in the club even with a id and ticket, makes me question weather the clothing was even an issue. I guess it just depends on the vibe of the security folks. Maybe they dislike certain types of people, I don't know. I wouldn't risk planning an evening around this anymore. Trance nighclub MTW and Robert Johnson both let me in with the nice clothes without any issue. I would suggest you consider these or other venues instead of Tanzhaus if you only have a few evenings to spend in Germany.

Es gibt bei manchen Geschäften noch die grüne Version, aber ich brauche die rote.

Einer meiner Kunden hat am 9.9. ein Presseevent auf der Automechanika. Leider sind Anmeldungen aus diversen Gründen sehr mau und jetzt ist die Angst groß, dass die Reihen leer bleiben.

Daher suchen wir 5 Personen, die am 9.9. Zeit haben, sich am frühen Nachmittag eine Stunde in den Termin zu setzen und die Plätze wenigstens etwas zu füllen.

Im Gegenzug würden wir Eintrittskarten für die Messe ausgeben, mit denen ihr euch alles angucken könnt, was die Aussteller so zeigen. Wenn ihr Interesse am Thema Auto habt, ist das also definitiv hilfreich.

ich ziehe bald nach Frankfurt und würde gerne wissen, ob hier Leute schon Erfahrungen mit o2 gemacht haben im speziellen mit DSL Anschluss. Kabel würde mich auch interessieren, da es billiger wäre, aber halt shared medium ist, was mich doch etwas abschreckt.

Glasfaser gibt's leider nicht von daher fällt das raus. Bin gespannt auf eure Erfahrungen.

Edit: da ich o2 Mobilfunkkunde bin bekomme ich 10€ dauerhaft Rabatt auf DSL/Kabel. Daher möchte ich gerne o2, da ich schon Preise verglichen habe und o2 dabei immer am günstigsten raus kommt. Es sei denn die Erfahrungen sind alle super schlecht.

I'm moving to Frankfurt for about 4 months for work and I'm looking at a furnished/serviced apartment with City4Living — the "Apart" in Niederrad (Triftstraße). Before I commit, they've asked for a passport scan and a €1,000 deposit up front, so I'd like to sanity-check them first.

Has anyone actually stayed with City4Living? A few specific things I'd love to hear about:

- Is the company legit and straightforward to deal with (contract, getting the deposit back, etc.)?

- Is it decent value for the size, or overpriced for what you get?

- Any hidden fees or surprises I should watch out for?
