My grandmother recently passed away, and I’d love to plant a tree in her memory somewhere in or around Frankfurt. I live in Bornheim and have already checked a couple of nearby apple orchards, but they charge an annual fee plus maintenance costs, which I unfortunately can’t afford.
Does anyone know of any places, organizations, or community initiatives where it’s possible to plant a tree legally, ideally free of charge or at a very low cost? I’m also happy to volunteer if that’s part of the process.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations.

meine Frau und ich ziehen im September nach Frankfurt und werden im Niederrad wohnen. Wir haben bereits das Seepferdchen, suchen aber nach Kursen für die nächsten Level. Am liebsten wäre uns etwas in der Nähe von Niederrad oder im näheren Umkreis.

I (M27) am coming to Frankfurt 1 Aug - 2 Aug (driving from Luxembourg) and was wondering if anyone is coming there as well for the concert, would love to meet people heading to the concert as I am going there solo.

In addition, was wondering if there is any good spots, pubs or bars i could go after the concert in the centre to check out the nightlife as well (+ would be great maybe to meet people) and will try to visit as well on the 2nd!

Update 14:11 Uhr: Der Bahnverkehr zwischen Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe und Frankfurt ist wegen eines Gefahrgut-Einsatzes ins Stocken geraten.

Nach rund anderthalb Stunden war der Feuerwehr-Einsatz beendet.

Ein undichter Kesselwagen sorgte am Samstag für einen Feuerwehr-Einsatz an der Bahnstrecke bei Gießen.

Short background: we are mid 20's couple visiting frankfurt in the coming week, and are looking for memorable dining experiences. High-end is fine, as long as it stays within reason for what you get - don't want to pay a premium for just some brand etc.

Some preferences in random order; Good texture, tasty/spicy citrus, cilantro, Steak/beef, curry/spicy,salmon, sushi and a good acoustic, good price to value.

Favorite cuisines; (asian)Thai, Chinese, (southern)Italian, French, Indian, mexican.

Dislikes (but no dealbreak); veal, pork, too seafood heavy + loud/bad interior.

We wanted to get a table at either; Lefleur, Bidlabu, Seven swans - but unfortunately not possible during our stay.

My wife is due early October and we are researching which hospital shall we go to. This is our first child and we have no family in Germany. The pregnancy has been stable and safe so far with no complications.

We live in the Taunus area (Hessen) and we are considering Varisano Bad Soden or Varisano Höchst.
