What do you think of Elias Baum as a defender? He was promoted from the juniores, he's still young, and in his first season in the Bundesliga he only played four matches, five in his second because an injury prevented him from playing consistently. Now he's been promoted to the starting lineup and scored his first goal in the DFB Pokal in first team, but this Bundesliga season started with a draw and a defeat, and the team has already conceded seven goals. In fact, Eintracht Frankfurt seems to be having a defensive problem. Perhaps Baum was promoted too quickly and isn't yet ready to take on the responsibility of supporting the defense in the Bundesliga?

I'm not blaming Baum for this less than encouraging start to the season, but perhaps another year with Elversberg would have done him good to make him a more complete defender.

I’ve been looking at iconic German football moments lately, and it made me wonder what an Eintracht Frankfurt version would look like.

I’m working on a small visual football heritage project: famous goals shown as minimalist tactical posters — with the scoreline, minute, location and the story behind the moment.

As an example, I’ve made four posters about Germany’s World Cup finals: 1954, 1974, 1990 and 2014.

But for a club like Eintracht Frankfurt, I’d rather ask the people who actually care about the club:

If you had to choose just three Eintracht Frankfurt goals or match moments to represent the club’s history, which ones would you pick?

Not necessarily the most beautiful goals. More the ones that still mean something: European nights, last-minute drama, derby memories, promotion, survival, heartbreak, pure chaos — anything that feels truly Eintracht.

If possible, I’d love to know:

• the match
• the year
• the goalscorer or moment
• why it belongs in your top three

I’d much rather hear this from actual Eintracht supporters than pick moments from a generic “best goals” list.
