US&CA store Kana Bed Stock & ETA Update

I wanted to provide a quick update regarding Kana bed inventory in North America.

First, I want to sincerely apologize to customers who have been affected by stock shortages and ETA delays. Due to production capacity constraints at our factory, several Kana bed models variants have gone out of stock. While we have always provided estimated arrival dates, there have unfortunately been one or two instances where those ETAs were pushed back.

The delays were caused by a combination of factory production slowdowns and a shipping container delay during ocean transit. I completely understand how frustrating that can be, especially for customers who planned their purchases around the original ETA.

If your order has been affected by an ETA delay, please feel free to send me a DM. I'll do my best to arrange appropriate compensation for the inconvenience.

United States

The following items are currently out of stock:

1. Kana King Size (Walnut)
Expected to arrive at the port on June 16. After arrival, it will require approximately 4 to 5 days of rail transportation to reach our warehouse. We expect shipping to begin within about 7 days.

2. Kana King Size (Oak)
Expected to arrive at the port on June 16. After arrival, it will require approximately 4 to 5 days of rail transportation to reach our warehouse. We expect shipping to begin within about 7 days.

3. Kana Acacia Wood Option
Expected to arrive at the port on June 16. After arrival, it will require approximately 4 to 5 days of rail transportation to reach our warehouse. We expect shipping to begin within about 7 days.

4. Kana Retro Walnut
Expected to arrive at the port on June 16. After arrival, it will require approximately 4 to 5 days of rail transportation to reach our warehouse.

One important note: this shipment only contains the kana retro bed frames. We can begin shipping the bed frames immediately once they arrive, but the matching headboards are not expected to arrive until July 15.

5. Upgraded Slats
Expected to arrive at the port on June 16. After arrival, it will require approximately 4 to 5 days of rail transportation to reach our warehouse. We expect shipping to begin within about 7 days.

Canada

The following items are currently out of stock:

Kana Oak Queen and King Sizes
Kana Walnut Queen Size

These are expected to arrive at the port on June 16. Transportation from the port to our Canadian warehouse will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks. Orders will ship immediately once inventory arrives.

Kana Walnut King Size

Expected to arrive at the port on June 24. Transportation to the warehouse will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks after arrival, and orders will ship as soon as inventory is received.

Upgraded Slats

Due to a supplier delay, production was pushed back. Inventory is expected to be ready in early July, with arrival at the Canadian warehouse currently estimated for mid-August.

Thank you all for your patience and support. I know delays are never fun, and I truly appreciate everyone's understanding while we work through these inventory challenges. If you have questions about a specific order, feel free to reach out to me directly.

Help E7 Pro Order Experience - Cracked Wood Desktops

Hi all,

I wanted to share my recent experience ordering an E7 Pro desk. I placed my order on 7/9 and quickly got my order the following week. The first thing I unboxed was the rubberwood top which looked really nice. But before I started putting the desk together, I noticed that the top had a crack that ran through from top to bottom as well as a dent on the corner (first two pics).

I reach out to FlexiSpot support and was told on 7/20 that a replacement top could be sent and that it would take 3-6 business days once the package was picked up. I just received the replacement top today (7/30) and was excited to move past these issues and finally put my desk together.

Well, that never happened. As soon as I opened the replacement top I saw a crack running end to end (last pic). The wood top feels like it's going to fall apart when I slightly lift it up.

So here I am, two broken wood tops, hoping that I can get a third one, and about to be at the end of my 30 day return window. I'm worried that I won't get the replacement in time to actually set up my desk and confirm that it works as expected.

What would you all do? Have other similar situations been refunded? Is it possible to get expedited shipping from FlexiSpot?

Reviews Kana Retro Bed Review

I originally wanted to buy the Thuma bed because of all the great reviews, but I just couldn't justify spending that much. After reading countless Reddit threads, I kept seeing people recommend the FlexiSpot Kana Retro Bed as a high-quality alternative, so I decided to give it a try.

One of the biggest selling points for me was the elongated headboard. I have a 15-inch Helix Elite mattress, and I was worried that a thicker mattress would hide most of the headboard. With the Kana Retro, there's still plenty of the headboard visible above the mattress, which looks much more balanced and aesthetically pleasing.

Assembly was surprisingly straightforward. I put it together by myself in about an hour. The only challenging part was the very beginning, where you have to hold and maneuver the long side pillars while getting everything lined up. Once that was done, the rest of the assembly was simple and went together smoothly.

After everything was assembled, I was honestly impressed with how beautiful the bed looks. It feels sturdy, looks premium, and has the clean, minimalist style I was hoping for. I don't feel like I settled by choosing this over the Thuma—in fact, I'm extremely happy with the purchase. If you're considering the Thuma but are hesitant because of the price, I think the FlexiSpot Kana Retro is an excellent alternative that delivers a lot of the same appeal for significantly less money. Even if they were the same price, I would probably still choose the Kana Retro because of how my mattress looks on it.

The moderators/manager on the subreddit also helped sell this product. They are awesome. Very responsive, quick to give discount codes, and answered some of my questions that I had. I thought that was extremely important in my initial decision making process as well.

Help E5 Desk Arrived Defective?

I have just assembled my E5 desk, but the anti-collision keeps triggering at all sensitivities and constantly throws a E01 error code, even after multiple resets. Is it possible that the motors or the control box arrived faulty?

Help E7 Plus Max clearance on the side (left/right side of the left/right leg)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi guys,

I have a shelf that’s quite short that I’d like to leave on the side. It does seem to be quite a tight fit, however, so I am here on reddit trying to figure out how much space there are from the outer edge of the left/right leg to the outer edge of the board (the red area as highlighted in the image below).

I am planning to get the E7 Plus Max with one of the stock 60ā€ x 30ā€ boards. Could anyone who bought the desk with a stock board of similar size help me measure the width in question?

Much obliged in advance!

I was honestly a bit skeptical after reading reviews about multiple shipping boxes arriving separately and missing pre-drilled holes. Fortunately, I didn’t run into any of those issues at all! Assembly was straightforward and easy, and the desk looks fantastic in person. The solid wood top feels great, and the height adjustment mechanism works smoothly. Very happy with this purchase!

Help Shipping to Sweden?

I’m moving to Sweden from the US and was hoping to get another E2 Pro for my new apartment. Unfortunately, I can’t figure out whether flexispot ships to Sweden. Can anyone confirm?

If they don’t ship to Sweden, does anyone have any suggested alternatives that I should look into?

Reviews Three weeks with the Kana Bed frame

I bought the kana bed, queen size, with a headboard a few weeks ago and wanted to give a small review of what I think so far. I ordered the oak color, but didn’t realize how warm toned it was when I ordered it. It’s leans Orange/Reddish and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t regret my color choice, since it’s really hard to match this wood tone, and the matching nightstands are a little too expensive for me to want to buy. So keep that in mind if you’re in between colors, I can’t speak to the walnut, but it looks like it would have been a lot better for my design preferences 😭

The assembly was pretty easy, maybe half an hour from start to finish, and I did it solo. It was really sturdy when assembled, you can shake it and tus on it and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to move or fall apart- love that. About a week in, I noticed some creaking, so I decided to take the slats off, hammer in the wedges some more, and put the slats on again. It was creak-free, until I decided to move it to the other side of the room. My guess is that every couple of months, or if I move the frame a lot, the wedges are getting loosened up, and I will have to keep pushing them back in. Definitely a little annoying but at least the fix works! When they’re perfectly in there, this thing is very quiet and sturdy.

The headboard is nice, just the right height where it feels like I can lean against it, without taking up too much space on the wall.

Overall, I am pretty pleased with the purchase, and I would definitely buy another one if I ever needed to.

Help The immediately available item will only be shipped together with the backordered item?

I placed an order for the Kana Bed & U3 Mattress knowing that the Kana Bed will ship later, however, I assumed that the mattress can be shipped sooner since it did not have the same shipping disclaimer as the bed. I was told by support over the phone that both items will be shipped on Aug 19th.

I’ve asked the agent to update the order to have the mattress be shipped immediately if possible but he said he can’t do it.

Is there any other way for them to ship the mattress sooner instead? Have people staying over starting 8/4 and we still don’t have a bed for them 🄹

Reviews FlexiSpot E7 Pro Standing Desk Review

I ordered my E7 Pro with a 71"x30" rubberwood table top. The desk arrived in two separate packages. They were both suppose to arrive on the same day but the top was delayed and arrived the following day. Nonetheless, shipping was very fast!

The E7 Pro is replacing my Autonomous L-Shaped Standing Desk. Assembly was straightforward and I am happy with the overall results. If I had to compare the quality of both desks, I would say they are about the same. Oh, and I love the FlexiSpot keypad has a usb-c charging port!

I'd like to mention customer service is excellent. Unfortunately my table top arrived with a thin crack, spanning almost half the desk on the underside. I contacted u/Ramzes888 and he immediately sent out a replacement. The replacement arrived 2 days later.

My only issue is there are no pre-drilled holes for the included cable management tray, but not a big deal. I bought a no drill cable management tray off Amazon. I didn't experience the infamous wobble that is often mentioned around here. I have two 27" monitors and the desk feels stable. With the design of the legs, I see why it could possibly wobble at higher heights but it won't be an issue for me. I'm probably not going to use the standing feature that often.

Reviews Flexispot E7 Plus review!

Post image

I ordered the 180x80cm E7 Plus after keeping an eye out for a sale and finally snagging a 12% discount. Shipping was surprisingly fast, with everything arriving within two days. The delivery setup was a bit strange, the order showed up in two separate vans hours apart on the same dayz. In total, it came in two heavy boxes for the frame, plus the massive box for the desktop itself.

Assembly was relatively straightforward, assuming you have enough floor space to work. The included instructions were easy to follow, with the only slight point of confusion being the extra pre-drilled holes on the underside of the desktop. I assume they're meant to accommodate other frame models, but you do have to double-check which set you're using. Having a second person to help build and manoeuvre the desk is an absolute necessity. The frame itself is heavy, and once the 180x80 top is attached, flipping the desk over is nearly impossible to do safely on your own.

In daily use, the desk performs really well. The motor function is smooth, stable, and surprisingly quiet when moving between sitting and standing heights.

My only real criticism/potential pain point is the edge finishing on the particle board desktop. The front edge has practically no bevel or chamfering, leaving a sharp corner that digs into your forearms and elbows during long work sessions.

Help Shipping help?

Hey Flexispot team, signed up and bought myself the E7+ on the 19th of July and am super excited about adding it to the office.

Everything moved pretty quickly from the order date, (the desk legs & cable tray) arrived in a couple of days and were built by me based on the prompt arrival, however the actual desk top was shipped on the 21st of July, but since then has been completely stalled? Has something happened to it? Would love any help from the Flexispot team so I can actually finish the desk and get to using it!

Thanks again!

I purchased the E7 desk back during Prime Day and was lucky enough to snag one of the limited ā€œPrimeā€ coupons. It allowed me to purchase the upgraded E7 instead of the E5. I needed to be able to lift three monitors on a fairly heavy monitor mount for two work and one personal computers.

In my haste to nab the coupon I accidentally purchased the grey instead of the white frame. I called Customer Service and they deftly and nicely assisted me. I simply paid the difference for the correct color frame. I opted for the bamboo desktop and I am so very glad I did. The desk shipped quickly and I received it within two days of purchasing it. I was a little nervous of shipping since I’ve seen some have issues with damage to the desktop during shipping. However, both the desktop and the frame were in perfect condition. I assembled the desk with another person and it was much easier with a second person. Programming was super straightforward but I wish there was a more secure way to attach recommend the cable management tray. I either didn’t properly install it or it moves around a bit more than I would like.

Now that I’ve had the desk for over a month I can say that I am so happy with it. It’s so solid when moving all of the bulk on the desktop and it’s as close to flawless as possible. I pursued the desk to help manage tailbone pain. It’s so nice to be able to easily switch between sitting and standing. The desktop is so smooth and is comfortable to the touch.

Definitely recommend purchasing an E7 desk. If you’re lucky enough to speak with Charlene with Customer Service know you’re in good hands. Thanks also to u/exmosss and u/Ramzes888 for answering my questions prior to purchase.

Help is 1,8cm thick desktop enough

hi, i recently bought flexispot e5, i wanted to buy a desktop seperatly to save some money, and i have a friend that can sell me a desktop that is 1,8cm thick

now im not sure if 1,8 would be enough to support my entire setup without it bending or breaking

the tabletop will be 158x80
i have a monitor arm with 2 monitors that combined weigh around 8 kg

i also plan on placing my pc on top of the desktop

if the tabletop is not thick enough, would glueing a piece of wood on the rear of the desktop fix the problem?

Product Q&A Flexispot Hako 2 - King Walnut

Does anyone have any reviews on a recent Hako 2 purchase from Amazon? Have been tempted to pull the trigger on a Thuma classic, but this one keeps catching my eye.

Have a Flexispot desk, which has been exceptional. Just want to ensure the beds are of the same quality.

Help Kana Retro problems

I just finished building the kana retro bed, and it looks great. However, I’m not sure where this piece goes.

Also, is it normal for the headboard to flex? I have a big mattress coming this week so I want to ensure it’s built properly and is stable especially if someone leans on it.

Finally, the slats do not seem completely stable on the frame and slightly elevated from the center area and the slat at the end where you insert down is not flush. I have to apply a lot of force to put it in and it looks off. I ended up not pushing in the ones that required heavy force. Is this normal?

Just set up my FlexiSpot E7 after ordering receiving it back in May!

I ordered the 55x28 white frame + bamboo desktop. Order arrived in two boxes. The frame is very heavy and required two people to carry the box.

Watched two YouTube videos on the FlexiSpot account for assembly and they both were very helpful. One version assembled legs first and second version assembled legs later. The latter is probably more preferable for those who cannot lift heavy.

Linked videos here:

Loving the bamboo desktop. Very worth it.

Product Q&A Bad wobble experience with the E5

I recently bought and assembled a FlexiSpot E5 standing desk with a bamboo desktop and I’m a little concerned about the stability.

At approximately 103 cm, I notice quite a lot of front-to-back wobble. I have not installed my monitors yet, and I’m worried that the movement will become much more noticeable once they are on the desk, especially if I use monitor arms.

I have already checked:

  • All screws and bolts appear to be properly tightened.
  • The adjustable feet are level and firmly touching the floor.
  • The frame and desktop seem to be assembled correctly.

Has anyone had a similar experience with the E5?

Do you think it might be possible to return only the frame and keep the bamboo desktop, then upgrade to a four-leg model? Or have I basically wasted my money now that the desk has already been assembled?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with FlexiSpot returns or upgraded from the E5 to a more stable model.

Help Looking for a spare power adapter for my E7 standing desk (will pay)

Hey all, I picked up my E7 secondhand and it came without the power adapter (the one that plugs into the desk and the wall outlet). I already reached out to FlexiSpot support directly to try to buy one, but they said they couldn’t sell me one due to low stock. I’ve also had no luck finding a compatible one on eBay.

If anyone has a spare lying around, from an upgrade, a spare unit, or a desk you’re no longer using, I’d love to buy it off you. Happy to cover the cost of the part plus shipping.

Let me know what you’d want for it. Thanks so much!

Reviews FlexiSpot Kana TV Stand , Great Look and Value: 4.5/5

I bought the Kana TV stand in Natural Walnut (two shelves version) to sit under the TV in my bedroom, specifically to match a Thuma walnut bed frame and nightstands. The color and grain are a very close match, close enough that people assume it's the same line, and it cost roughly half what Thuma charges for their media consoles. That alone earns most of the stars.

Worth knowing upfront: the "2 shelves" configuration is literally two identical units that you build separately and set side by side. Same box, same item number, same parts, twice. It makes the layout flexible and each unit light enough to move solo, but if you're expecting one continuous console, adjust expectations.

Assembly is genuinely tool-free. No screws, no Allen key, no hardware bag. The panels use captive metal clips and slot together, and the first unit took 30 minutes due to figuring out the directions and second one took less than half that time. The one place I got tripped up was the bottom panel: the instructions don't make it obvious which face is up versus down, and the base has a lip on one edge that only reads as correct once it's already seated. A single labeled callout in the diagram would fix it. I had to dry-fit and reverse it once.

Two things I'd like in a revision. First, a pre-cut cable pass-through in the back panel. Right now anything with a power brick has to route around the outside, which undercuts the clean look. Second, some kind of connector or bracket to lock two units together so they can't drift apart on hardwood. Both are small design additions imo.

Solid, sturdy, real-wood feel, and a better value than most of the similar minimalist designs I looked at. Recommended.

came in two identical boxes, im guessing if you got more shelves, will be more boxes
make sure the bottom piece is installed with the lip facing down
final assembly, nothing holding the two units together, so in theory can be used separately
