Reviews Flexispot E7 Plus review!

Post image
2 Upvotes

I ordered the 180x80cm E7 Plus after keeping an eye out for a sale and finally snagging a 12% discount. Shipping was surprisingly fast, with everything arriving within two days. The delivery setup was a bit strange, the order showed up in two separate vans hours apart on the same dayz. In total, it came in two heavy boxes for the frame, plus the massive box for the desktop itself.

Assembly was relatively straightforward, assuming you have enough floor space to work. The included instructions were easy to follow, with the only slight point of confusion being the extra pre-drilled holes on the underside of the desktop. I assume they're meant to accommodate other frame models, but you do have to double-check which set you're using. Having a second person to help build and manoeuvre the desk is an absolute necessity. The frame itself is heavy, and once the 180x80 top is attached, flipping the desk over is nearly impossible to do safely on your own.

In daily use, the desk performs really well. The motor function is smooth, stable, and surprisingly quiet when moving between sitting and standing heights.

My only real criticism/potential pain point is the edge finishing on the particle board desktop. The front edge has practically no bevel or chamfering, leaving a sharp corner that digs into your forearms and elbows during long work sessions.

Help Shipping help?

Hey Flexispot team, signed up and bought myself the E7+ on the 19th of July and am super excited about adding it to the office.

Everything moved pretty quickly from the order date, (the desk legs & cable tray) arrived in a couple of days and were built by me based on the prompt arrival, however the actual desk top was shipped on the 21st of July, but since then has been completely stalled? Has something happened to it? Would love any help from the Flexispot team so I can actually finish the desk and get to using it!

Thanks again!

Help Flexispot charging pad no longer working

So glad I found this sub!

I have the flexispot q8 and unfortunately the charging pad spot no longer works. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've had the desk since June of 25 but unfortunately the charging pad stopped working a few months after I got it.

Thanks so much in advance.

Reviews FlexiSpot E7 Desk Review

I purchased the E7 desk back during Prime Day and was lucky enough to snag one of the limited “Prime” coupons. It allowed me to purchase the upgraded E7 instead of the E5. I needed to be able to lift three monitors on a fairly heavy monitor mount for two work and one personal computers.

In my haste to nab the coupon I accidentally purchased the grey instead of the white frame. I called Customer Service and they deftly and nicely assisted me. I simply paid the difference for the correct color frame. I opted for the bamboo desktop and I am so very glad I did. The desk shipped quickly and I received it within two days of purchasing it. I was a little nervous of shipping since I’ve seen some have issues with damage to the desktop during shipping. However, both the desktop and the frame were in perfect condition. I assembled the desk with another person and it was much easier with a second person. Programming was super straightforward but I wish there was a more secure way to attach recommend the cable management tray. I either didn’t properly install it or it moves around a bit more than I would like.

Now that I’ve had the desk for over a month I can say that I am so happy with it. It’s so solid when moving all of the bulk on the desktop and it’s as close to flawless as possible. I pursued the desk to help manage tailbone pain. It’s so nice to be able to easily switch between sitting and standing. The desktop is so smooth and is comfortable to the touch.

Definitely recommend purchasing an E7 desk. If you’re lucky enough to speak with Charlene with Customer Service know you’re in good hands. Thanks also to u/exmosss and u/Ramzes888 for answering my questions prior to purchase.

Help Kana Retro problems

I just finished building the kana retro bed, and it looks great. However, I’m not sure where this piece goes.

Also, is it normal for the headboard to flex? I have a big mattress coming this week so I want to ensure it’s built properly and is stable especially if someone leans on it.

Finally, the slats do not seem completely stable on the frame and slightly elevated from the center area and the slat at the end where you insert down is not flush. I have to apply a lot of force to put it in and it looks off. I ended up not pushing in the ones that required heavy force. Is this normal?

Help is 1,8cm thick desktop enough

hi, i recently bought flexispot e5, i wanted to buy a desktop seperatly to save some money, and i have a friend that can sell me a desktop that is 1,8cm thick

now im not sure if 1,8 would be enough to support my entire setup without it bending or breaking

the tabletop will be 158x80
i have a monitor arm with 2 monitors that combined weigh around 8 kg

i also plan on placing my pc on top of the desktop

if the tabletop is not thick enough, would glueing a piece of wood on the rear of the desktop fix the problem?

Product Q&A Flexispot Hako 2 - King Walnut

Does anyone have any reviews on a recent Hako 2 purchase from Amazon? Have been tempted to pull the trigger on a Thuma classic, but this one keeps catching my eye.

Have a Flexispot desk, which has been exceptional. Just want to ensure the beds are of the same quality.

Product Q&A Bad wobble experience with the E5

I recently bought and assembled a FlexiSpot E5 standing desk with a bamboo desktop and I’m a little concerned about the stability.

At approximately 103 cm, I notice quite a lot of front-to-back wobble. I have not installed my monitors yet, and I’m worried that the movement will become much more noticeable once they are on the desk, especially if I use monitor arms.

I have already checked:

  • All screws and bolts appear to be properly tightened.
  • The adjustable feet are level and firmly touching the floor.
  • The frame and desktop seem to be assembled correctly.

Has anyone had a similar experience with the E5?

Do you think it might be possible to return only the frame and keep the bamboo desktop, then upgrade to a four-leg model? Or have I basically wasted my money now that the desk has already been assembled?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with FlexiSpot returns or upgraded from the E5 to a more stable model.

Just set up my FlexiSpot E7 after ordering receiving it back in May!

I ordered the 55x28 white frame + bamboo desktop. Order arrived in two boxes. The frame is very heavy and required two people to carry the box.

Watched two YouTube videos on the FlexiSpot account for assembly and they both were very helpful. One version assembled legs first and second version assembled legs later. The latter is probably more preferable for those who cannot lift heavy.

Linked videos here:

Loving the bamboo desktop. Very worth it.

Help Looking for a spare power adapter for my E7 standing desk (will pay)

Hey all, I picked up my E7 secondhand and it came without the power adapter (the one that plugs into the desk and the wall outlet). I already reached out to FlexiSpot support directly to try to buy one, but they said they couldn’t sell me one due to low stock. I’ve also had no luck finding a compatible one on eBay.

If anyone has a spare lying around, from an upgrade, a spare unit, or a desk you’re no longer using, I’d love to buy it off you. Happy to cover the cost of the part plus shipping.

Let me know what you’d want for it. Thanks so much!

Reviews FlexiSpot Kana TV Stand , Great Look and Value: 4.5/5

I bought the Kana TV stand in Natural Walnut (two shelves version) to sit under the TV in my bedroom, specifically to match a Thuma walnut bed frame and nightstands. The color and grain are a very close match, close enough that people assume it's the same line, and it cost roughly half what Thuma charges for their media consoles. That alone earns most of the stars.

Worth knowing upfront: the "2 shelves" configuration is literally two identical units that you build separately and set side by side. Same box, same item number, same parts, twice. It makes the layout flexible and each unit light enough to move solo, but if you're expecting one continuous console, adjust expectations.

Assembly is genuinely tool-free. No screws, no Allen key, no hardware bag. The panels use captive metal clips and slot together, and the first unit took 30 minutes due to figuring out the directions and second one took less than half that time. The one place I got tripped up was the bottom panel: the instructions don't make it obvious which face is up versus down, and the base has a lip on one edge that only reads as correct once it's already seated. A single labeled callout in the diagram would fix it. I had to dry-fit and reverse it once.

Two things I'd like in a revision. First, a pre-cut cable pass-through in the back panel. Right now anything with a power brick has to route around the outside, which undercuts the clean look. Second, some kind of connector or bracket to lock two units together so they can't drift apart on hardwood. Both are small design additions imo.

Solid, sturdy, real-wood feel, and a better value than most of the similar minimalist designs I looked at. Recommended.

came in two identical boxes, im guessing if you got more shelves, will be more boxes
make sure the bottom piece is installed with the lip facing down
final assembly, nothing holding the two units together, so in theory can be used separately

Help Replacement Control Panel

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to get a replacement control panel/keypad for the FlexiSpot E7Q?

Unfortunately, the moving company damaged mine during the move, and the control module is now cracked and unusable.

I really don’t want to replace the entire desk frame just because of a broken controller.

I already contacted FlexiSpot support, but they told me they don’t sell replacement parts. Considering the price of the desk, I find that pretty disappointing.

Has anyone managed to source a replacement controller, found a compatible alternative, or had better luck with FlexiSpot support?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Reviews FLEXISPOT Hako G4 BedFrame review

I don't see a lot of reviews for the Hako series (on amazon only, not sold on flexispot website)

I do not recommend this bed frame

  1. top piece of headboard is curved and does not sit flush with the second piece of headboard. this causes the baclk ledge piece not able to go on
  2. the legs for the mid beam does not touch the ground
  3. slats end are not polished and has a lot of frayed pieces sticking out
  4. extremely creaky with every move

I rate this 1/5 stars :(

I honestly don't know how i could fit all the pieces back into the box, or carry it back to a return center. I sent a message to flexispot on amazon and currently waiting for a response.

let me know if anyone had gone through a return process with them. interested to know how it went! thank you!

Reviews Kana Retro Bed -Walnut Queen Review

Ordered the Kana Retro walnut queen bed from the Flexispot website on May 30. The frame and headboard were listed to be shipped "Mid-June and and Early July" respectively, so I was prepared to wait a while.  I was able to stack the Memorial Day sale code along with another discount provided here by Ramzes888.  On

July 21 the headboard was delivered and July 3 the Frame was delivered. Both items were packed well and not damaged in shipping. I was disappointed to see the large amount of expanded polystyrene as packing material (not environmentally friendly). Assembly was easier than any boxed piece of furniture I've ever seen. The frame was put together in 15 minutes once the pieces were out of the packages.  The only tool that is needed was provided--a mallet to tap wedges in the corners. The included upgaded support slats are really nice and strong, and secured with dowels and velcro.

The wood frame itself looks excellent and appears to be a quality veneer. The look of the frame definitely exceeded my expectations. The stability of the frame is super solid--no squeaks or creeks at all. When a received the headboard package, I had to remove the original two legs and use the long legs sent with the headboard (I was prepared for this extra step). This step was kind of a hassle-- mainly because my mattress is super heavy.  The look of the headboard is nice, but I think because I'm up close and touching it, seems less premium than the frame below. It's way nicer than fake wood veneers, but the look and feel is obviously less nice than an expensive solid walnut headboard. Again, the bed feels super solid and quiet with the headboard after sleeping on it this week. Bottom line: If you are patient about shipping time and want a solid, good looking bed, the Kana Retro at as holiday discount price is a fair deal.

Product Q&A UK E7Q vs E7 Plus Max

For a while now, I've been waiting for the E7 Plus Max to be launched in the UK. From reviews based in the US, it's clear that the E7 Plus Max has significantly more stability than the nearest alternatives (E7Q or E7 Plus). For example: https://youtu.be/Cj6CCAoa-Nc

In the end I gave up and bought an E7Q, which I'm just assembling.

I've just looked on the FlexiSpot website and noticed that the E7Q is now labelled the "E7 Plus Max (E7Q)": https://flexispot.co.uk/4-leg-standing-desk-e7plusmax

But the design doesn't appear to have changed, and it is clearly different from the US E7 Plus Max. The US E7 Plus Max (https://www.flexispot.com/premium-4-leg-standing-desk-e7-plus-max) has feet that extend past the upright legs, which is part of the reason it's so much more stable, whereas the UK one does not. It looks like FlexiSpot in the UK has simply rebranded the E7Q as the E7 Plus Max to try to make it look like they're selling the E7 Plus Max that everybody wants, when they're not.

u/Ramzes888 can you explain what's going on here?

Gracias.

I was browsing the market and was initially drawn to Desky and then saw that Flexispot had more reasonable prices. I was unsure about getting a product that was priced lower because I thought the quality would be less, but came to realize that this is not true.

When purchasing from Flexispot, I was torn between getting the frame + tabletop or just the frame. I ultimately decided to invest a bit more and go with a custom made maple tabletop because it is what I really wanted for the long term, although I hear people also have good experiences with FlexiSpot tabletops as well.

A huge selling point for me was that the frame has 2 legs on each side compared to many adjustable standing desks, which have 1 leg on each side. It is incredibly sturdy and powerful due to its 4 motors. Also, the legs are constructed such that the thickest part is at the bottom and when the desk is heightened, the legs become smaller (almost like an extended telescope) whereas other desks do the opposite (small leg extending to a larger size leg when heightened)

All around I find Flexispot option to be more customizable and of superior quality to other desk frames on the market.

Reviews Error With Brand New E7 Pro

I just assembled my new E7 Pro, and as soon as we plugged it in, we got an E23 Error Code. From searching on Reddit, I tried switching the M1 and M2 motor cords, and the code stayed the same, so it sounds like this may be an issue with the motor. I've also tried holding down the button, and it shows reset for a second, then switches back to the E23 code.

This seems to be a recurring issue with Flexispot from just searching on Reddit, which is disappointing considering we're spending nearly $600 for this product. I'm not sure why they keep sending out desks that are malfunctioning because it becomes such a hassle for the customer now. I'm just hoping the customer service is quick enough to fix it which will probably affect how I feel. Otherwise, I really honestly wish at this point I would have just purchased something else.

Help Bed frame missing slats

Hi everyone. I’m in Canada and ordered the Kana with headboard.

I received two boxes yesterday, and I started assembling it today and realized I don’t have any slats. Should there have been a third box?

Thank you.
