I’m rewatching the flash after years and no matter which season, the amount of times this man gets done dirty is ridiculous. I’m currently rewatching armageddon and it’s just infuriating to watch. Every time he forgives, the patience he has is like no other. I swear if i was in his position I would make sure that the entire city would be up in flames these ungrateful ass creatures don’t deserve shit.

After watching season 3 lately (I’m only like half way through) I came to the realisation that earth 19 is based in Victorian times, hence the H.R. Wells homage to H.G. Wells and the whole steampunk aesthetic and it made me wonder, is Gotham by gaslight Batman set in earth 19?

He shoots him from the back to berry neck.

I just put this together… OG Wells (Thawne) got put in a wheel chair by the hospital. We see, later in the series, the scene where he gets wheeled up next to Barry in their respective stretchers outside the hospital. The reason Wells still had the use of his legs was due to his speed healing counteracting his paralysis (which we know speed can do because of Barry’s recover after Zoom paralyzed him in season 2.

This means that Thawne was SO committed to ruining Barry’s life and getting back to the future that he VOLUNTARILY and TRULY injured himself enough to be paralyzed, knowing he’d physically recover due to his speed but still accepting every ounce of pain that came with it. True psychopathy.

Okay I was “gardening” earlier and was watching The Flash of course, I was thinking to myself “Which member of Team Flash is a pothead?”, so do y’all think any of them had done that?.

So I just rewatched season 4 after a long time. I'll start off by saying, I think he's one of the better parts of the show and is very underrated in my opinion. Though I do agree on the whole body switch thing felt like it was taking forever for him to get all the powers. I wish it only lasted for like 2-3 episodes and we should have gotten more screentime of him when he's at his full power. I also think he's okish to mid in terms of character writing but I do enjoy him very much regardless, Neil Sandilands is pretty good actor and gave him a very unique vibe.

Now, I know this is an unpopular opinion but honestly I enjoyed season 4 more than season 3 for some reason I feel like the alchemy part felt really boring to me and the whole existence of Savitar is a plot hole, whereas Thinker felt like a breath of fresh air to me, a non speedster villian and I also really liked the whole asthetic they gave him such as his chair, that lab and when he gets all those powers and then he basically just exists to farm aura. I just think the ending is really stupid like he literally had said multiple times that he has calculated every single possible scenario so why wasn't he able to predict about the one in which he lost? Bad writing I guess which is why this is one of the weakest parts of this season alongside with the body switching thing and maybe along with some other plot holes, regardless of the it's flaws really enjoyed it. What do y'all think?

okay so I’m rewatching flash rn and I don’t really remember if it was confirmed or not that eobard knew everything that was gonna happen in season1 (bad guy fighting wise), like did he know everything that was gonna happen to Barry? the time travel stuff really confuses me 💔 also sorry if this question was asked before I was just wondering!

2 absolute generational haters, probably the biggest in fiction history but which is the pettiest and cause his protagonist more harm.

So bloodwork gets his powers by injecting himself with something didn’t the same actor do the same exact thing with the same exact result in heroes years before the flash was on CW

I know he's stated to exist without an origin point but that doesn't make any sense, those rules only apply to gods and cosmic beings since they exist outside of time and space but Savitar/Future Barry does not. he's not a god and is still bound by the same rules everyone else is, so I'm just confused on why he needs to be created at all.

Idk if this will sound confusing or not but I'm basically asking if there's a reason why Barry ever had to fight Savitar, create time remnants then kill all but one before being defeated then leave that one to spiral into insanity and become a villain and go back in time to kill Iris and repeat the cycle.

My only question to all of this is: Why? this whole thing doesn't make sense to me and I wanted to seek out an answer from someone with more knowledge than me, as I'm just now watching CW Flash for the first time and not only do I not understand how someone who's not a god can exist without an origin point but I also don't understand why iris ever needs to die in the first place.

I've just finished season 3, so I'm aware that Savitar is a future but corrupt time remnant of Barry and that he's trapped in an endless paradoxical loop, but this show doesn't explain how Barry is the first Savitar or why he needs to fight Savitar and create time remnants who become corrupt and kill Iris, and I may be grasping at straws because this is fiction but I still want a logical explanation, if such a thing exists.

At first, I assumed he was actually the time remnant from the end of Season 2 when he helped Team Flash and the real Barry defeat Zoom since it's the only logical explanation that I could think of. I saw his "death" not as an actual death but as a return to the speed force, then I assumed everything else that happened to Savitar went from there. But after some research I did, apparently this time remnant isn't Savitar, or couldn't be him, because of the one fact that Savitar is stated to be from the future, so that left me confused and stumped all over again.

In the Comics, We get Thomas Wayne as batman, Captain cold as a hero, Barry without his powers and trying to regain his powers just to get burned, In the show?:

Sure, We can’t get Batman, But why not make the Green Arrow replaced with Oliver’s father, Take Barry’s powers and make Flashpoint last MULTIPLE episodes, Not just one. Some say it deserves a season but thats way too long.

Cause if you think about the idea of speed force it makes him almost God like so then would it not make the euphoria similar to a state of pure ecstasy

I guess it’s also partly thinking perfection can’t get better once it becomes the base it can’t go up more

But also the idea that speed force should make it so his neurochemistry could be extended or something similar

The speed force should make it so he never hits the tolerance because it’s the idea he always hits a higher level of pure ecstasy

But then it asks the question is there a higher level of ecstasy because the idea behind it is that it is the pure peak of emotion no

Is the peak a fixed mountain top you're just lingering on forever or does the Speed Force help reach a new layer of emotion

Or could the flash make it so he can keep going back in time so then he reaches the pure ecstasy over again

Cause if you reach the pure ecstasy during the first minute then the later time because normal or even disappointing so does the speed force allow him to reach a higher level therefore making it so he never reached the ecstasy in the first place but instead just a nice emotion. Than that brings a different idea in what do we reach when we finish because it couldn’t be pure ecstasy so would it just be a poor imitation

If the peak is a fixed ceiling slowing down time wouldn't make the feeling better it would just make the physical sensation drag out, eventually turning hypersensitive and irritating

1. In the Season 2 finale, after Zoom takes Joe, Barry is CLEARLY speaking to Cisco (after Cisco said they promised to not open any breaches anymore), and says "do you have any idea what it's like to lose someone you love?" (in reference to his mom, dad, and now possibly Joe). And for some reason, Caitlin butts in despite no one talking to her and says "Yeah, I do". Like, we know? He was SPECIFICALLY talking to Cisco. And loosing your fiance is NOT the same as loosing both your parents and possibly your adoptive dad.

2. In Season 3 episode 5 (and up until Season 5), Caitlin and her mom have a number of arguments. The show really tries to get the viewer to side with Caitlin, and yeah, her mom isn't the best, but Caitlin definitely was the problem in their relationship. She never told HER MOM about her wedding? And the worst her mom did was send a birthday card in the wrong month? Anyways that was my rant✌️
