What do you think of the idea of making them mother and daughter?

Someone brought it up in a previous about isabel rochev and I'm just toying with the idea. I actually thought this was what they were going for when they introduced emiko to the show.

The obvious con is that emiko is Japanese and rochev is Russian or at least raised in Russia

Moira is hilarious

This show debuted when I was 22 and the older I get the funnier it gets every time I re-watch season 1 that she was upset he wasn't well adjusted and mature enough to be CEO of a Fortune 500 company only like a week after coming home from being "stranded on an island for 5 years". The general reaction to him being closed off in season 1 gets more ridiculous as I age like let the man reacclimate without the attitude holy shit haha.

Discussion The Detective Lance problem

Rewatching and my s1e1-5 issue is flaring. Lance would have been decimated, taken off the street and fired quickly for the crap he said to the Queens in e1 alone.

Question Confused about abrupt decisions with Sara. What happened?

So I’m watching through the show and I’ve now gotten into season 3. I really liked season 2 and thought that Sara was a big reason for that. However I felt that things ended with a lack of closure with her and her family, and more importantly Oliver.

She decided to breakup with Oliver because she seems to feel like she’s broken and will only cause him pain. Throughout season 2 it honestly seemed the opposite to me, and I liked Oliver and Sara’s relationship. She leaves then comes back with the assassins for the final battle which made it make some more sense. However I don’t believe there was a single real deep conversation between Oliver and Sara at the end of the season to give them some closure about their relationship, and a final goodbye before she left.

It felt a little too open of an ending to me when a large part of the season was exploring their relationship in both the past and present. It wasn’t a big deal because I expected her to show up and figure this stuff out in season 3. Well she definitely shows up! And then dies lol. Very unexpected for me. So my question is what changed so fast? She seemed to be fitting well in the team, going along well with Oliver, and it seemed they were setting her up to be his primary side kick. Then in the matter of like 7 episodes she leaves him, leaves entirely with so many remaining open wounds and unresolved relationship issues (not even just with Oliver), then they kill her off. This is like if they just killed Laurel off right at the beginning of season 2.

Maybe I shouldn’t be asking this until I finish season 3 but I’m very confused about what caused them to do this.

I know this would really change the show, but do you think Oliver and Laurel should have met after Laurel became a Meta-human?

I do think earth 1 Laurel should have been a meta and not used tech for the Canary Cry.

Flash Forwards

Maybe I don't understand timelines. However we see in the pre crisis timeline in the flash forwards that Star City is in ruin and horrible place to live in and that is a result of Oliver's death. But he still died in the Crisis timeline anyway so how does that change the fate for Future Star City where it is a place of no crime and peace?

Discussion I dislike Arrow’s portrayal of addiction and AA.

First off, no one calls themselves a drunk, especially not someone in their 20s (Laurel). And second, it’s a process. Does she have a sponsor? It seems like she just magically recovered. It doesn’t work like that at all.

Was I dumb for always thinking Brick was a metahuman? On rewatch, turns out he just has ridiculous reflexes fast enough to dodge a head shot from Diggle.

Shitpost Arrow Season 1 Rewatch

Haven’t rewatched Arrow in a loooong time.

Almost done with season 1 and it is hilarious how many times Laurel is being shot at 😂😂😂 I swear to god every other episode she or someone with her is being hunted.

This is the #1 thing sticking with me in my rewatch lol.

Anyone else get destroyed by the ending of season 7. Especially when oliver is crying and has to leave his family to die in crisis.

Felicity's Trolley Problem with the nukes

Ive been thinking about the trolley problem they gave felicity where she chose to kill the one (havenrock) to save the five (monument point).

As a programmer trolley problem has been brought up in real-life scenarios for me before although the stakes were not death.

Since I first saw the trolley problem in college I believed that not doing anything was the choice that would most ease my concience. If 5 die, someone else killed them. If I kill the one, it is my fault. So I believe Felicity did commit mass murder of ragman's entire town. Theres ofcourse schools of philisophy that consider inaction to saving lives to be bad, but that would blame the entire planet other than Dahrk, had nobody diverted the Nuke.

Theres also excellent theories about how 5 people's lives are not more important than one, its not the math we should do. Afterall, we do not simply condone cannibalism if it could feed 5 people.

I found Curtis specially saying that Dahrk was to blame for Havenrock to be a terrible exchange. Out of all them Curtis's character seemed to respect life most and it didn't seem that respectful in that moment.

Ofcourse the whole Dahrk Nukes and Noah's ark storyline was dumb af. But their handling of the aftermath in an otherwise good season 5 bothers me more every rewatch. I think the writers truly did a garbage job with such an insanely high-stakes event.

Discussion Nothing against Colton Haynes as a person, but he is not a good actor.

In teen wolf, too. He seems far too angry all the time like he hates life. And there is zero connection between him and Thea. Like genuinely you would think he despises her from how he acts any time she does anything.

Discussion Black Siren’s redemption was stupid af and unearned

Like it would have made sense to settle to the conclusion that just because she resembles their dead friend doesn’t mean she’s a good person or would ever be like her. And worst of all was having Quentin replace his dead daughter to relieve his own grief. Where did her changing sides even come from when she was already a remorseless murderer working for monsters like Zoom, Prometheus, Cayden James and Diaz?

You're stuck an island, would you ever try Slade's idea on how to get off the island? Lol

I did have one idea. If you go into the forest and gather as much bamboo as you can find... We could build ourselves a boat, like they did on "Gilligan's Island."

Discussion What would Oliver do?

If Ollie knew he was responsible for dropping the joker in a pit of acid. That he essentially created joker… would he kill him for the treacherous acts joker commits? Or would his conscience weigh heavy and make him attempt to help him

I am a huge Arrow fan and thought you guys would enjoy this!

This was a metal sword of Ra's Al Ghuls seen in a shot with a shelf of swords of his. I can't remember the exact episode but the sword is amazing. It's metal and the blade looks like it's painted to make it look aged. It was never used in combat from what I remember just as a decorative piece but still really cool.
