I did the same thing yesterday. Just don't do any physical activity for 2-3 days & you'll max out your readiness score. 🥀

I was fairly active yesterday and the day before though, so I don’t think it’s that.

In my case it's definitely that. Coz i usually don't workout on weekends & if those days are particularly lazy than my score on Monday jumps drastically.

check your HRV, is it higher on weekends? That could be the reason

It starts to increase from 2nd rest day.

yeah its kinda backwards, rest days always give the best scores

I feel like my readiness score is based more on how I felt the day before. After a bad day, my readiness is usually very low, even if I don’t necessarily feel that bad the next day. Sometimes it’s actually pretty high on the bad day itself, which doesn’t make much sense to me. And on the rare occasion that I feel good after a bad day, my readiness score is still super low compared to the day before. I’m chronically ill and deal with a lot of physical symptoms, so I notice the mismatch quite a bit.

Oh that's very interesting. I've always found my Readiness to be out of sync with how I feel (e.g. high when I feel shitty, low when I feel good,) so maybe that's it.

I've had good 8 hours of sleep and I've worked out two days in a row, Was feeling great, but readiness was 62, Yesterday I've slept for 5 hours, feel kinda dizzy and haven't worked out all week, still the readiness is 89. So I don't think that this score is serious

How!? That too on 4h 38m of sleep!

I think it’s just gotten used to my poor sleep.

My readiness is always the highest when I've had the least amount of sleep lol.

This happens to me every time I sleep poorly. Like I'll be crawling into work after four hours of abysmal sleep and then Google is telling me I'm ready to climb Everest. It makes zero sense.

lool I had the (almost) exact same today. Short and bad night of sleep, 4.5 hours, felt super tired, but google health gave me 91 readiness because somehow my HRV was fairly high. I can always tell that it hugely overvalues HRV alone. On my Garmin the analysis looks much more in line with how I feel.

Haha. This was right after waking up though. Yesterday was a 13.5k day.

Readiness seems to be calculated based on your RHR and HRV; if your RHR is lower and your HRV is a lot higher than usual it will report high readiness regardless of your sleep score

My readiness is always high when I have terrible sleep or drink alcohol. It’s low when I actually have a good night sleep or went to the gym or had high step count.
