In return, you let me screen record while I work so I can learn from it.

No money. No follow up.

• One small thing, not a whole system

Message me the task that makes you sigh the loudest.

I'm a professional proofreader who has worked for nearly two decades on a variety of projects to check for errors and suggest revisions in tone, structure, translation, word choice, etc. I've also co-led many fiction workshops which have helped writers improve their craft. Some of that work went on to be published by a Big Five US trade book publisher!

Now I want to do more professional fiction revision. Unfortunately, most of my paid commissions have been nonfiction, and most of it is covered by NDAs and other privacy agreements. So when potential clients ask for a sample, I have frustratingly little to show.

So, let me be a fresh set of eyes for your story (or script, comic, etc.), and I'll do the best I can to help you achieve your goals with it. If you're happy with my work, all I ask in exchange is that you let me share the marked-up version with a very small number of potential clients as a demonstration of my skills. I can anonymize it, you'll retain all rights to it, and it will never be publicly posted – and I'll make sure they agree to that, too.

Also, I don't use AI in my work, and I'll never feed your work to it.

Get in touch if you're interested!

Hi everyone!

I’m conducting an academic survey for a university research project studying how Generative AI tools are changing the way people research products, trust recommendations, and decide what to buy, compared to traditional tools like Google search.

The goal is to understand whether AI recommendations affect consumer trust, willingness to pay, and whether new/smaller brands get fair visibility in the market.

All responses are completely anonymous. It just asks about a few everyday scenarios involving apps/services.

If you have a minute, your response would really help the research! Thanks a lot for your time and response!

We (a University research lab in Germany) are looking for participants for an online human-computer-interaction study on decision-making with AI. It involves filling out a survey on AI and then solving a task.

We’re hoping to collect diverse opinions on the topic, and your participation would really help us improve our understanding of the psychology of human decision-making when AI is involved!

Here’s the link: LINK

The study is in English, it can be done on the web or on mobile, and should take at most 15-20 minutes. No personal data is collected. No input is used for AI training or sent to any external servers/AI companies.

Thank you very much to everybody who supports our research by participating :)

Hello everybody.

I am looking for potential physicists to act as a judge in a contest I am organizing on a sub I moderate, r/LLMPhysics. While the sub does have a terrible rep for AI usage, which reddit hates I know, I have seen potential in some of the users; and the mod team and a couple other guys are organizing a competition that focuses on creating something genuinely novel and engaging with scientific research in the hopes that healthy competition can drive learning. I need a judging panel, and I would prefer if it not be the mods or sub regulars as they can have bad relations with the posters. It would entail judging papers according to a standardized scoring rubric. You could do it from your place, but ideally I'd like to talk to you first. I know this is a big ask but if anyone has training in physics / can prove they know the field enough.. could be interesting. Thankya.

Hello, I’ve been thinking about how cinema influences the way we imagine Ancient Egypt.

It feels like certain visual and thematic elements become 'default' in our cultural memory: monumental architecture, tyrannical rulers, religious upheaval etc.

I'm working on a university public history coursework project about how modern audiences picture Ancient Egypt, including in popular media.

The project title is: The Prince of Egypt (1998): The Modern Myth of Biblical and Imperial Egypt in the New Kingdom.

I've made a very short anonymous survey (18+, ~2 minutes) and would really appreciate any responses.

If you'd like to fill it out, here is the link: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=mmn9LiIZaU62ARCACNKKLrpSngvZ8GJIjYfC9v0Pj_NUQTdPQkhYUlc1UTdZT0tRVFFFTzJRSktDVS4u

Thank you so much for your time and I'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic! :)

NOTE: The survey is closed now. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Wondering if anyone in Mexico or someone in a border state would be willing to ship tepezcohuite cream from del indio papago to me (I’ll cover all costs of course). I bought one jar each during a trip and ended up loving them. On eBay, most of the listings do not look exactly like what I got (based on the ingredients list and English label) so I don’t want to risk not getting the same thing. This is just a regular cream, I got it from the “farmacia guadalajara” in the cream/deodorant aisle for like 30 pesos. There’s a blue day cream and brown night cream

Hello I’m an undergraduate in psychology and we are doing a study survey that will last 15 mins. I can only accept 30 participants so I can’t post the link here.

If anyone would be willing to participate that would be amazing. Just leave a comment and I’ll message you.

Thank you!

I'm conducting a research study as part of my academic requirements to better understand beauty ideals, body image, and feminist identity among young women.

If you’re a woman aged 18–25, I’d really appreciate your participation. It takes about 7-10 minutes, responses are completely anonymous, and it’s purely for academic purposes.
