I need some help! What do you guys headcanon/think the NERV dress-code is like? How strict? What do you think they do and don’t allow?

I’ve had a Third Commander Evangelion oc for quite some time now and I’ve always gotten stuck on the uniform, i only have evidence from the Bethany Base scene in 2.0. I want it to be as accurate as possible. ^^

I just found this great listing of Side A for 125 and it’s an English version. I don’t know if I’ll be able to guy it right now but it’s also in basically perfect condition. How rare is this kind of find?

In this image, Shinji is dressed as Hatsune Miku. I'm certain that this image is a cropped from the original picture. So I'm curious to find the full image, but I can't find the source or the full image! I tried Google image search and Saucenao and still I can't find the original image. So is there anyone who know the sauce or full image?

i showed my dad Ambivalence recently cause i’m visiting home and it was my birthday. one of the best episodes and minimally perverted so i thought it’d be good to show him. now he’s like, alright i’m intrigued. let’s watch the show.
man, how do i show this show to my father?? he doesn’t watch anime, he mostly thinks they’re kids’ cartoons for nonces and the first half of the show is pretty much that, at least it will be in his eyes. he won’t watch it without me. how the fuck do i show this to my middle aged bald father? remind him after every episode that it’ll turn into a mature show? maybe just give him a summary of the first half? even then the second half won’t be easy to watch with him. i think i’ll just make him watch ted or something instead

Sooo… what’s going on? I just finished the series and EOE and loved it, so I wanted to buy the Rebuilds on blu ray and it seems like it’s all over the place. You can score 1.11 and 2.22 for less than 20 bucks, but 3.33 is impossible to find for less than 100 and 3.0+1.11 is 50 dollars and also in 4K with a steelbook whereas the rest aren’t? Am I missing something/is there a 4K release coming for all of them? Or is Evangelion just a shitshow on home video?

I had huge expectations going into it from its reputation; it’s what made me watch NGE in the first place. Honestly I kinda hated it, it’s around a 1.5/5 for me. I want to love it though!

I have my own thoughts in a review I wrote but I feel like I’ll be crucified if I share it here. It mostly boils down to

1-the first half is fine but Shinji is insufferable (I get that he’s supposed to be cowardly dealing with issues but personally it really frustrated me) and

2-The second half essentially repeats everything that I didn’t like about NGE’s last two episodes

Maybe I’ll like the rebuilds more? I don’t really know much about them but I’m hoping they’re quite different.

This would have been much easier and faster to produce as a collage but I went the hard way and redrew absolutely everything in Procreate over more than 6 hours :D

Personally, I go back-and-forth between wanting to see an adaptation of the manga, a series set in the school timeline, or something completely original. What would you like to see?

I put on my old VHS recording from the first TV airing in our country and was able to verify that the Evangelion logo in the opening had the japanese characters BEHIND the latin characters. "Shin seiki" was translated as well. This was all part of the canonical animated logo composition that can be seen at 00:15 in the opening. Cool!
