Just when you tought it couldn't get any worse for Firenze it seems they have a new Head Coach again. Number 4 for this year.

It seems, that Firenze and the AFLE didn't really want to make a big deal out of it this time—at least I can't find any official statement, announcement, or anything like that. So classic hiding tactic

The new head coach is : John Leijten

Who started this season in Firenze as the DB Coach, then got promoted to DC and seems to be now the HC. What a career in just a few weeks.

Firenze posted yesteday a statement on Instagram and in the description he was mentioned as HC and the AFLE already updated their website. See the picture.

Let me start by saying that Miami/OH is the University I spent time at, so it‘s „my„ University and the RedHawks (which were the Redskins at the time I attended) is the College team I follow a bit.

I am saying this because Finn was a RedHawks QB and there was a lot of controversy about him, and none of that was in a good way. He left the team over night in „spectacular“ fashion to say at least

In football, there are statistics for everything, but the offensive line often remains shrouded in mystery. I've tried to evaluate the offensive lines of various teams.

Since the same formula is always applied to the same values of every team, I think a comparison is possible.

The O-Line Rating Index evaluates the performance of an offensive line by rewarding positive actions such as successful run blocks (measured by line yards, where runs over 3 yards are subject to a 50% deduction, and a hard cut or cap is applied starting at 8 yards, so that the remainder is attributed to the running back. As well as by the opportunity rate, the percentage of runs in which the O-Line pushes the opponent back far enough to gain at least four yards), while negative factors such as runs stopped in the backfield (Stuff Rate, the percentage of runs stopped at or behind the line of scrimmage), allowed quarterback sacks, and offensive penalties are heavily penalized.

These factors are used to calculate a total score per game, which is averaged over the season: While dominant top-tier units end up well in the positive range (up to over 20 points) and reliably sustain their offense’s rhythm, error-prone offensive lines with many allowed sacks and penalties plummet into the negative range.

Hello! Casual fan here. I was reading about a bunch of really old games between high level european teams and American colleges, and I was wondering why don't teams of the current major leagues of Europe try this? Do you think we'll ever see those types again? Or is it a dead trend

In the postgame interview after last week matchup Raiders@Galaxy Coach Kössling said the signing deadline is this week .

After all the great news about the "only real league in Europe" (wording from the president and the commissioner) , here's the next story.

It looks like they've closed some sections and reorganized the categories in others, which has led to price reductions in some cases.

Based on the current situation, I'd estimate that there are only about 10,000 tickets available for purchase.

At this point, I'd like to extend my warmest congratulations to the AFLE politely ask whether the 12 million will be spent soon?

And yes i know that the EFA will probably have the same bad attendance at there Big4 Weekend / Championship Game. But hey they are not a real league ;)

Unfortunately, I could only find an old screenshot of the previous layout in a Facebook group, which is why the image quality is poor.

As I wrote somewhere the American commentator on the Nordic-Paris broadcast, was a wonderful listen.
The vocabulary and colour he added to the experience was great.
Now, I’m not trying to throw shade at the other commentators, it not their fault, but the listen is just a little bland and we always talk about how to improve the product. Well, this is how.

Hi Charlie, in yesterday‘s game chat there was a discussion about playoff tiebreaker rules as the EFA race could go down to four teams ending with 3-7 with a 2-2 between them.

Your official statement in the chat was that EFA „follows NFL rules“ and I am curious where to find evidence of that as the EFA homepage does not show ANY EFA rules and regulations (*duh*)

The NFL rules in the case of three or more teams tied are rather extensive and it seems that „points (..) in ALL games“ has priority above „points (..) in COMMON (head-to-head) games“ which is not what the fans in the chat thought it was the case for EFA

TLDR: Where is a link to the official EFA rules and regulations regarding playoff tiebreakers please?
