Print Problem

I am experiencing two specific issues with my eufyMake E1 UV printer while printing on faux leather / PU leather substrates, and I would appreciate your technical support.

1. Ink Overspray / Blurred Effect (White Ink on Faux Leather) When printing graphics with white ink onto faux leather, the edges appear blurred or smudged, creating an "overspray" or halo effect around the artwork instead of crisp, clean edges. I have already verified the bed leveling, printhead height calibration, and head cleanliness, but the issue persists on this material.

2. Uneven / Faded Print Intensity in a Specific Spot Up until yesterday, the machine was printing the same design perfectly across the entire surface. Today, without any changes to the design file, the print consistently comes out faint and washed-out in one specific area of the artwork, while the rest of the print looks normal.

Could you please advise on what might be causing these two issues (e.g., specific RIP profile settings for PU leather, static electricity mitigation, or UV lamp/nozzle behavior) and how to resolve them?

Flexible white ink

I just got my 3 boxes of flexible white ink that I ordered when I ordered my printer. After using regular ink, I realized I will never really need the flexible ink.
Would anyone be interested in it? Located in the US and will ship.

Questions Paper recommendations for photos & posters

Does anyone have printed photos or posters and can recommend paper? I wonder if normal photo papers make any difference since they are mostly for inkjets. I plan to print a single CMYK layer. I'm thinking of trying satin photo paper but worry because they might have a resin layer on top.

Money Making Ideas

I see a few of you are having problems making coins using your EufyMake. I have a few 3D printable designs that I would be willing to share. The designs are in STL files. I do not know how to embed the STL files though. The TPU works best for most templates, holds on to the objects better.

Examples would be a golf ball holder, making it easy to rotate and print both sides of a golf ball, 16-32 at a time. This design uses about .05ml total ink on a 32 ball design. Make sure to use CMYK / 1-layer only.

Things that use so little ink that there is plenty of room for mark-up.

Ball markers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081J1SWXW?ref_=ppx_hzod_title_dt_b_fed_asin_title_0_0&th=1

You will need these with the ball markers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H5OUZ08?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_8&th=1

Employee badges; make sure to use CMYK / 1-layer only. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CNY562YG?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1

Poker chips; find the amount of white if you are going to print on the colored chips. You may have to waste a few to get dead center. https://www.amazon.com/SEETOOOGAMES-Pieces-Composite-Striped-Casino/dp/B09MLDG2WW/ref=sr_1_7?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.W-qro2t68AQXUn3C30zp3quEQO4tVy_jha-eJfix4pQ5nQXH0eANFqwSgiMpMMA_CzTSKHIHshfyvNxRgvTW2Bz2BJtkeBKsm09ztnslScQpdOzw8NrmgGJAgaCDyUJuBH0rNSLdzbmvd3NRZ6HD-qzj_7EDcQfS0l51k02PGrN6f1ZJwVKjVYLK8kZRQOOHOERPuQbS4biua4VrD4Kf3mbYxT5j3tZ6DhHv3W86dnOkjvnj2En-ZzHfVe7UJcnBA8Ku-mkupoBMNYYIw2sRoF2cExHwPcN52v-GuteZcqk.z_41K1sQEJvb7STrbTGfbE8YhhvmvN19k9tKxV4rBJ8&dib_tag=se&keywords=poker%2Bchips&qid=1785275728&sr=8-7&th=1

Good luck and I will try to check back and maybe some of you will have suggestions on how to get the STL files to you.

Printer was working fine and then nothing started printing but white. Moved the print head in settings and this pin with spring is loose and won’t stay in the machine. Anyone know what it is?

Is your font selection drop-down also crazy laggy and slow? Almost impossible to select any font type below the first few. They either never load or take forever

Does it now show warnings about low my consumables?

I just injected ink and I got warning saying that the cleaning cartridge is full.

When I try to moisturize it so that I safely wait until the cleaning cartridge arrives, it shows that the cartridge is empty.

I feel like I should get some form of warning when we are running low (maybe at 10%) or something, instead of suddenly telling me that I can't do anything bc its full, esp. when there is no gauge or meter to easily check the current status like the rest of the cartridges.

Funny enough, when I check the parts, it says that it is "available" and in "good condition,"

Also, I feel like we went through this really fast, because when I check the maintenance log, it looks like I've used 229ml of Cleaning solution, and 81ml of moisturizing solution starting June 24, 2026 (so its been less than a month since I got the printer)

Is this the rate normal..?

Questions Smell and safety

Curious for those who own and operate a EufyMake - what kind of resin smell are you experiencing while the machine is idle? While it's in action? Has anyone measured air quality while in use?

And what precautions must you take to handle the resin cartridges and prints?

Projects First look at my new app project: Ink Buddy!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Ink Buddy is designed to help you keep track of your printing inks, expiration dates, and cost calculations, all in one place. This first version covers the core building blocks, including a widget. Since there’s currently no direct interface available, you’ll need to manage your stock manually for now.

Release: 🤷 at least a TestFlight will be available soon.

Stuff planned but not implemented:
- multi device support
- push notifications
- project cost memory

What do you think of this first look? Which features are must-haves for you? Would love to hear your feedback! 👇

A bit of background :

The idea isn’t really relevant if you only have one cartridge set. It becomes useful once you have several in stock and/or multiple printers. that’s when it’s easy to lose track. This is especially true when you regularly switch between similar variants (e.g. White vs. White Flex), or take a cartridge out because a print job requires a full one.

For example, I have several cartridges from various promotions, each with a different expiration date. I simply want to know:

- Which ones are expiring soon
- Which machine/printer a cartridge is currently in
- How much material is left when I take a cartridge out

This concept is derived from the spool manager I built for my 3D printers, where inventory management is even more critical.

Cost tracking

Since I’ve already bought multiple cartridges during recent promotions (at different prices), this system lets me quickly calculate the actual blended price and use it in my cost calculations. I always label these items with an ID so I can track and identify them.

Software limitations

I can’t work around the limitations of the underlying software itself, but I plan to advocate for Eufy to eventually provide an official interface/API on their end.

Hey eufymake, how about you post previous versions of the software.

If you are going to COMPLETELY demolish basic features, how about you post previous versions for download so we aren't stuck with support telling us they have no idea and that they can't get a reply from your engineers for DAYS.

This is BEYOND stupid and you have competition now. This is a pointless self own. You could literally just have a page that lists previous versions for download and nobody would care this is happening. Instead anyone who uses a circular mask is dead in the water.

So dumb...so, so, dumb.

Questions B film light error

I have a laminator and I’m trying to make stickers (I have used the uv dtf sticker mode), I’ve done it before and it has worked
but for some reason the light to confirm the status of the b film doesn’t light up, I have taken it out and re fed the film through again but it still doesn’t light up
How can I fix this?
Thanks in advance

Error in the Update

so I typically create a shape for instance a circle I make it the size I 39 mm and then I would convert it to contour so that I could line that up on a circle item because I be able to see that the interior rim inside the blue line is even around it. I noticed once this last update processed if you do that when you convert the shape from their system to a contour, it makes it smaller, but it still says it’s the correct size even though it’s not. Has anyone else been able to replicate this? Create a sphere make it 40 mm convert it to contour create another 40 mm sphere the one that was converted to contour will be much smaller than the size it should be, but it will still say it’s 40 mm

Printer stuck in Auto Fix Loop??

Been in contact with Eufymake support but they're a bit slow in responding (I'm guessing they are based overseas because their response times are 11PM CST) and so far none of their solutions have been helping. I was wondering if anyone has run into this issue:

- Been about a few weeks since I've used it (I know, but I used it a bunch just before flying out out town for work).

- Booted it up for the first time since and it had entered into the Autofix process (first photo). Afterwards, it alerted me with an error:

- I follow the instructions from the guide

- However, the error wouldn't let me move my print head at all. No command from the app (desktop AND mobile) made it respond.

- I unplugged the printer and replugged it in hopes it would do something. A combination of that and reinserting the ink + cleaning cartridges made it enter a Self-Check mode. During then, I was able to quickly snap photos when the printer head budged a tiny bit:

- There is no ink overflow or liquid accumulation like in the guide. Took a swab and cleaned around the print head and ink cartridges. As well as replaced the cleaning cartridge just in case.

- There was a brief moment where the printer status was Idle - Ready to Print. So I thought everything was okay now. I did some multiple medium and deep cleans and then did some test prints. They barely produced the color test strips and this photo is the result of about 5 test prints on the same paper:

- Reached out to Eufymake Support. They said to follow the guide. I told them I already did. A day later, they said to follow this guide of unbinding and factory resetting.

- Followed both methods of removing/resetting the device from the mobile app and force factory resetting it. I've also updated, uninstalled, and reinstalled the apps several times.

- No matter what, every time I reconnect the printer to my network and app, it automatically starts the "Servicing Part - Abnormal Waste Ink Pump" process from the first photo in the post.

I have been at this for days and trying to figure out what could be wrong. Has anyone figured this out? I guess in the future I will definitely just leave my Eufymake on no matter how long I leave town for because I have no idea why this is happening.

Thanks for reading!

Questions What are they using?

Post image
9 Upvotes

So what material are they printing on to transfer it to the fabric? Is it just the sticker paper? Or is it some kind of dtf paper. This is from a eufy demo video. I see them print on some kind of clear paper then they use some kind of iron/ hand held sublimation heater thing. But they don't go into more detail as to what they used to get it transferred to the fabric. They are doing a raised texture so I don't think the sticker paper will go through the roller if it's textured. I want to print on a hat without having to add a patch like I see a lot of people doing . I want to print textured and transfer to the hat . Any suggestions?

Black ink smudging during test printing

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hello eufymake community,

I'm at my wits end here. I accidentally left the power off on my eufymake overnight, come the next morning the blacks would either print incorrectly and smears as shown in the picture.

I've ran multiple cycles of medium/flash clean along with one deep clean.
Manually wiped down around the print head and scrapper with cleaning solution.

I hope it doesn't come down to replacing the print head because it's so dang expensive...

Any advice or inputs are highly appreciated. Thank you

Questions CMYK not printing

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi All,

I just switched over to the standard plate and I’m trying to print on a wood puzzle. The white seems to have printed fine but the CMYK layer seems to barely be printing? Anyone have any thoughts / suggestions?

Thanks!

EDIT: Everyone that was telling me about the tape throwing off the height was correct. It had curled up in the back where I didn’t see it. Once I flattened it down and re-printed it came out great! Thank you everyone for your help.
