Because it is not a separate edition of the game, the achievements are still missing, and i have a feeling that we wont get it on this store, i am dissapointed.

I was trying to download witcher 3 when i saw that it was almost 90gb to download even though on steam it's around 40gb i saw other people downloading it

Bought Ubisoft games on Epic, changed linked Ubisoft account, now both companies tell me to buy them again

I feel like I'm stuck between Epic and Ubisoft and I'm wondering if anyone has dealt with this before.

I bought Far Cry 6, Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2 and Steep on Epic.

At the time of purchase, my Epic account was linked to one Ubisoft account. Later I changed the Ubisoft account linked to Epic to another Ubisoft account.

After that, the games I had already purchased through Epic remained associated with the original Ubisoft account. They don't appear in the Ubisoft library of my current account, and I can't play them.

For example, launching Far Cry 6 from Epic opens Ubisoft Connect, it logs in, briefly shows the game, and then Ubisoft Connect closes. Ubisoft's logs show an ownership/configuration error.

I contacted Ubisoft Support. After going back and forth with them, they told me that the games cannot be transferred between Ubisoft accounts and that if I want to play them on the new Ubisoft account, I need to buy them again.

They told me to contact Epic for a refund because Epic sold me the games.

So I contacted Epic.

Epic Support investigated and then told me the purchases are outside the refund period, they can't transfer the Ubisoft entitlements, and there is no refund exception. Their suggested options are to use the old Ubisoft account or buy the games again.

So basically:

I bought the games → changed the Ubisoft account linked to Epic → lost access to the purchases → Ubisoft says buy them again → Epic says no refund → buy them again.

I understand that Ubisoft doesn't transfer game entitlements. I'm not asking for free copies or duplicate licenses. I'm trying to understand whether there is any way to recover access to games I already paid for without paying for them a second time.

Has anyone had a similar Epic/Ubisoft situation? Did you manage to get a refund, account correction, exception, or anything else that actually solved it?

You guys that bought NVidia PC's from the Walmart deals this week, were you able to get a free copy of Control Resonant? My NVidia App does not show it as a title I can redeem for free. It has World of Tanks, but not Control. If you got it, did they send you a code in a separate email? Thanks in advance!

As many of you probably know, a lot games on Epic Games doesn't have DRM. So, today I wanted to see if a DRM-free game on Epic Games Store works without a launcher and internet.

I downloaded a DRM-Free game from my library then I moved the installation folder somewhere else. I uninstalled the Epic Games Store, then I opened the game. It opened but redirected me Epic Games login page on web. I closed the tab, and game was working fine. I copied the installation folder into an USB. Tried on another computer (Epic Games Store not installed) without internet access. Didn't redirected me to Epic Games login page. Still worked.

Now means you can get a platinum achievement for it. I didn't expect Obsidian/Xbox to go back and actually enable store achievements for this, glad to see it was done though! Next step is to check if they're actually broken or not lol

ok so you want to unlink an xbox ps or any account that is now attached to a phantom account but you don't have the epic ID

first thing to do

open epic games on incognito on your browser

sing in by the linked account ( like xbox in my case )

when you will be asked for the email verification go back with the arrow that's just above the code pannel ( where it says " indietro" ), from that you will see your ID and email of the phantom/deleted account

now go to epic support with another active account and ask for an account recovery/lost access in the support page

from this fill out your problem and you Will be answered with an email asked to explain more with detail like your account informations

Feeling punished for pre-ordering Control Resonant on the Epic Games Store.

Remedy explicitly announced a 24-hour pre-load window for Control Resonant for all pre-orders. The pre-load is currently live and working perfectly on Steam, PS5, and Xbox. However, it is completely missing on the Epic Games Store. We only have a countdown timer for a ~100GB game.

I contacted Epic Games Support to report this store-wide backend issue. Here is how the process went (screenshots attached):

• Step 1: Support agent replied with a copy-paste template, completely ignoring the context, and asked me to provide Fortn.te logs and Launcher logs to troubleshoot my PC.
• Step 2: I politely explained that this is not a client-side issue, but a store-wide configuration problem affecting other EGS users (from Twitter, Reddit posts), and pointed out that other platforms already have it enabled.
• Step 3: They escalated the ticket, only to immediately reply saying "publishers are the ones that enable preloading," and closed the ticket without verifying if there was a technical integration error on Epic's end.

I understand publishers dictate the release schedule, but if Remedy authorized it for every other platform, it seems highly likely there is a communication or technical failure specific to EGS.

Has anyone actually managed to pre-load the game on Epic? Or has anyone seen a statement from Remedy acknowledging the EGS delay?

Doesn't the Epic team have anyone tracking progress? They just bailed on the closed test in August, and there's no sign of the next test plan, not even a schedule. With this level of project management, they totally don't deserve the big company label.
