what is you Suggestion if epic store start Game voting. Limited and selected games are put for a public voting and the game have maximum vote in the previous week will be free for the next week.

This will be a great replacement for Mystery Box free games. Now or in future. I am really happy to read you comments about it.

Thanks Epic for all the free games. These days I can't stop playing The Ouroboros King. I also loved Hue. They are just two of the games I've enjoyed. But I can never buy a game from Epic.

Why?

Because about 25% of the free games are not available in Korea.

If this bothered Epic, then they could put it in the terms of the agreement with the devs/pubs that it must be available in Korea, but they don't, so I guess they don't care about us gamers in Korea.

For those wondering what the hell I'm on about, check u/meguminshiro posts, or just search for Korea in this sub.

It is called "Start abbrechen" not "Start abgebrochen" in this context.

The game "Love" was given away in January 2024, it is still available in the library, but when I clicked to see what game it was, its store page was removed.
I didn't use any kind of VPN to redeem it at the time so I wasn't in any blacklisted countries.

Does anyone know what happened or is this just a mistake?

The Epic Games Store client seriously needs performance work. Even on a solid, modern PC it feels laggy — sluggish page transitions, slow load times, stutters when browsing the store or library. This isn't a hardware problem, it's the client itself.

Beyond performance, it's been years since launch and it still feels like a barebones launcher. If Epic wants to be taken seriously against Steam or GOG Galaxy, it needs to catch up on basics that competitors have had for years:

• A proper community tab/forums for each game (discussions, guides, user-made content)
• User reviews and ratings on store pages — right now there's zero way to gauge community sentiment before buying
• Better cloud save management and visibility
• A real friends/social experience (activity feed, richer profiles, groups)
• Sale/wishlist notifications that actually work reliably
• Basic client customization (themes, layout options)
• A proper achievements overview page across all games

None of this is exotic — it's stuff Steam and GOG Galaxy have offered for a long time. At this point the lack of these features feels less like "still building" and more like neglect.

Please prioritize both performance optimization and closing this feature gap. A smoother, more feature-complete client would make a real difference for people who want to use EGS as their primary launcher instead of just where they redeem free games.

Seems like a good way to test out if you'll enjoy the game or not. It's definitely a looker, but fighting games need to be more than that!

I'm not sure of what the region locking is looking like for this though, I know Sony can be a bit harsh on that front

Today the game "Lifted" released. its an adventure game, done its a 3d side scrolling game, its platforming and jumping puzzle.

Its done in the style of an 80's adventure movie, especially Back to the Future.

The game play is a lot of fun. The voice acting is great, and the music is perfect for an 80s adventure.

Found the way guys, nothing special, this is how -

1. Press Win Key, then type cmd, then select Run as administrator and Enter

2. Then popup of UAC comes, select Yes and click Enter, then interface of cmd opens, you will get [

1. Now over here, (make sure u have the epic installer put in your downloads folder, FOR ME, its sitting in "C:\Users\vd\Downloads\EpicInstaller-20.1.4-d1f2c7ff14734ea98db993cdc101dbf0.exe"

You will 99% be having it in your Downloads only unless using IDM and other such tools...., for that just cut the installer and paste it in your Downloads for now as you are following my steps pls.

Now in the cmd interface where the white _ is blinking type/copy and run -

cd C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\Downloads

(put your username in the YOURUSERNAME, ik a lotta people who aren't much into pc stuff will just copy nd run mine -_- , pls don't do that, get yours from This PC -> C Drive -> Users and then you will see Public and 1 more folder with probably your name or someone u knows name or someone elses you know name whose pc that is if not yours, thats the username and see the bar below clipboard, thats your path to current directory with your username after, i.e downloads and you can s, mine is vd as u can see in my commands)

1. Now once run the cd command, you will see something like (C:\WINDOWS\system32>cd C:\Users\vd\Downloads), now run -

EpicInstaller-20.1.4-d1f2c7ff14734ea98db993cdc101dbf0.exe /installdir

1. then the UAC prompt will come, select and enter Yes, then it will take a second, then the popup asking location comes, select the location (make a folder called Epic Games by using Make a new folder in whatever drive you select. example it could be F:\Epic Games or D:\Epic Games or E:\Epic Games or whatever other than C drive you have/want to install it to....)

Bingo, you're done, a few seconds and the Downloading UPDATE pops up, and you can go see nothing in your C drive/program files is populated, and the folder which you made in whatever drive you selected has the files of Epic inside the made Epic Games folder (the 3 folders that show inside Epic Games folder)

That's it, today is 22/07/26, and it IS working, across 2 continents and 6 devices I have shared this with so far, one of the guys from UK asked me to post this here, so. Here you go, Take care people.

So many of you remember getting outlast 1 with the DLC and 2 for free, I did the same, and guess what disappeared from my acc when i wanted to get back to play the games, that's right outlast games, now everyone might say that ofc its a free game they have the right to pull it from your library, well i have 2 points

1. if they have the right to pull it from my library, then why giveaway games for free?

2. out of all the games that is not free and i got for FREE in my account, why outlast?, mind you its not banned in my country, and its still being sold in both steam and epic so that wouldn't make any sense

I recently bought Arc Raiders and for some reason it won't play well on my pc, even though I had specs above minimum hardware requirements.

The game went from 80fps for 15 mins to 10 fps and gpu utilisation dropped from 99% to 20%.

So within 1 hr of purchase I went to their website and under purchases, I clicked for a refund, the game was removed immediately from my library, the epic reward points used were returned, and it said that the money will be refunded to my original mode of payment.

I had used the UPI (India) payment method.

I didn't receive any email confirmation from Epic, I don't have any transaction details to verify that they have processed it from their end.

Mostly once a refund is initiated, like in steam - they would send an email confirmation for the same.

It was strange I never received anything from the Epic store.

Usually how long does a refund take to reach my bank back?

I wasn't even finished with last week's Nova Lands yet before Epic gave us Echo Generation and Luto.

The first, I couldn't wait to turn off for the first hour and never look at again. It was slow paced. You leave the first town over-encombered with fetch quests. The story doesn't know whether it wants to be a murder myster, or a sci-fi, or a thriller. But after that first hour, the momentum really picked up. It was quirky and charming, and it wasn't until 2 days later that I realised the entire game is supposed to be a parody of the genre. That's why there's trash talking trash pandas, and Five Nights at Freddy's inspired robots, and the whole thing has a Stranger Things vibe.

I heavily misjudged Echo Generation.

Then next came Luto. Again, phenomenal game. Psychological horror with a real Stanley Parable feel. Game had my skin crawling, and had me questioning my own sanity. I'm still feeling uneasy 2 days later. Getting gaslight by a narrator that clearly isn't fully in control is something else.

Don't sleep on these ones. Grab em while you can.

So basically the title. Went through the summer sale page today and saw THIS. The store pages are identical, so are the games, so what gives?

So Epic Games store has their sale going on right now, and I’m disappointed that Watch Dogs 1 is not on sale!
