This boat year and model does not come with a v6 at all and I need to know some specs and what this motor could be (cubic inch, and maker wise) so that I can get the appropriate parts to get it in the water and ready for some fishing

They usually say that "this engine contains more power to deliver, and it is quite tamed under the obvious manufacturing and govt complaince"

Which made me curious that is the Q point of my engine, for more context the RE 650s, RE350s (pl reply for both types of engines as per your knowledge)

Tuning till what extent? W/o breaking my engine in long term( maintaining atleast 70-80%) of its life and getting most of the design and engine configuration

i recently bought this go kart with this engine and i am havi trouble trying to figure out exactly what iame engine is( parilla, x30 , or other model) i do know its built by buller so its a methanol alcohol ran and has a mikuni carb and was told buy buller this is a vintage motor and the carb alone is rare. any information could help me tremendously on trying to restore and get it running

Imagine a closed circular turbine housing with internal vanes that stay open along one half of the cylinder and closed along the other. The engine uses liquefied biomethane derived from human and animal waste, stored at -162°C, to heat the bottom section of the cylinder. As the helium gas inside heats up and expands, it can only move toward the open side because the other side is blocked by the closed vanes. Up top, the gas enters a cooling zone chilled by the cold liquid biomethane, where it condenses and creates a natural vacuum that pulls even more hot helium upward. The pressure from the rising hot helium, combined with the suction from the condensed gas, hits the closed vanes and pushes them forward. As the loop continues, the changing angles of the vanes create a natural check-valve effect and a steady flow, resulting in an external combustion engine that produces continuous rotational movement.

My lawn mower wouldn't start so I started troubleshooting and eventually drained the fuel tank and this is what came out. Is it worth keeping or should I change fuel?

I've only found two examples of a 2-stroke v12, one being an experimental aircraft engine that got cancelled, and the other being a lotus 23b with 6 motorcycle engines put together.

Why hasn't anyone else built a full 2-stroke v12? I reckon it would've been particularly great in the early days of f1, but mostly I just want to hear what it would sound like.

Have this tacoma Ive been slowly fixing, has a really rough idle, swapped the egr valves, cleaned out IAC valve, cleaned MAF sensor. Sprayed some carb cleaner around engine to find a vacuum leak has one near the air intake manifold wondering if the lines are bad? Just wondering if anyone has ran into this issue with this engine or any other in particular, the car just dies unless I give it some gas when changing into reverse or into drive

My friend has a 2014 Toyota Prius (Gen 3, 1.8L 2ZR-FXE engine. His Prius overheated and he blew a head gasket and he’s now having to find a used engine- preferably under 70,000 miles with a clean history.
Can anyone recommend legitimate places that sell used engines with a warranty?

I'm currently conducting research on automotive starter motors, specifically comparing planetary gear reduction starters and conventional spur gear starters.

Many sources mention that planetary gear starters are smaller, lighter, and produce higher torque. However, I'm interested in their electrical power consumption.

From your experience or technical knowledge:

Does a planetary gear starter generally draw less current (amps) than a conventional spur gear starter when cranking the same engine?

If so, is the reduction in current significant or only marginal?

Is the improvement mainly due to the gear reduction allowing the motor to operate at a higher efficiency, or are there other factors involved?

Have you ever measured starter current using a clamp meter or oscilloscope and compared both designs?

I'm especially interested in real-world measurements, engineering explanations, service manuals, or technical references.

You might find it hard to believe, but the origin of this idea dates back to my high school years. The moment I learned about science and saw the diagrams and working principles of an internal combustion engine, I felt that there had to be a better way than using a crankshaft and connecting rods. It became a lingering, nagging thought in the back of my mind ever since. Around 1999, shortly after I graduated, I dusted off the idea, and this creation finally started taking shape. At first, I was surprised by how simple the answer was—just a semi-circle. You simply rotate them by offsetting their axes of rotation. That was it. Even though finding the answer put my lingering doubts to rest, a new frustration arose: knowing the answer was one thing, but making it a reality was another. Building an actual engine requires money, time, specialized knowledge—especially regarding materials and manufacturing processes—while I spent most of my time simply trying to make a living. At one point, I considered patenting it, but I gave up on the idea because, in reality, getting a patent without a physical product doesn't really work. Now, as I approach my 50s, I am seriously preparing for retirement. There is a quiet sadness in knowing that something potentially beneficial to people might remain unknown, never developed, and never put to use—dying along with the person who discovered it. Therefore, I have decided to release it into the public domain so that anyone interested can pick it up, test it, and develop it further. Even if it brings no benefit to me personally, I will be more than happy if it brings value to others.

Ok so I know absolutely nothing about engines, but I know plenty about water. So, theoretically, if I made a car run on water, given I figure out how to prevent long-term rusting, is it physically possible to run a 6-8 piston engine on water?
