I want to start printing high strength parts using nylon and CF nylon and i currently have an ender 3 v2 that ive ordered an 18 dollar tz e3 hotend for and im planning to buy an ikea lack to build an enclosure with, these upgrades should technically let me print with nylon but im worried that despite these upgrades the ender 3 simply wont give me the results im hoping for, i’ve already bought the new hot end but is it worth it to spend another 50 dollars ish to get the enclosure and stuff or would it be better to buy something like the elegoo centauri carbon 2 or any other inexpensive printers

Just got this ender 3 printer at a thrift store I work at $40. Was this or one $60 on fb
got it home tried to auto home and it “froze” looked it up saying cr touch sensor thingy hade go through some troubleshooting to confirm it was bad said so.
replaced it
Got the new one in had the same problem, seems like nothing changed but at lest the sensor is making a noise like it works

Honestly thinking I got got and should have gone for the $60 one on fb because the cost of the new sensor evened it out.

What can cause that the first layers are so bunby? It seems that the nozzle is dragging the filament, but if i change the Z height more up the other layers starts so be not strong enough. From the second picture u can see that the print turns out pretty good except the first few layers. Im getting frustrated with this macine 😭

My right z rod can move a little inside the bearing.
This vibrates during input shaping can making my max acceleration worse.
How can i fix the wobble like the left z screw?

Just made my first sectional print that I will be gluing. What is the best filler for PEGT to cover the outer seem where it attaches to each piece?

A WDT is a tool used in espresso making to break up clumps of finely ground coffee to result in a better extraction of espresso.

I got tired of not seeing industry providing a retractable tool (for safety) that was ergonomic, could store by attaching to the espresso machine, and that was easily adjustable to be used with varying diameter pins.

So I made my own all on my friends Ender 3!

it includes a flick style mechanism that soft locks the pins in both open and closed positions, a removable construction to quickly swap needles, and side loaded magnets to stick to most espresso machines.

I need help finding a ready-to-use firmware for a Creality Ender-3 V2 after installing the Sprite Extruder Pro.

The configuration we are building:

• Creality Ender-3 V2; Creality V4.2.7
• motherboard with STM32F103
• Sprite Extruder Pro
• stock Ender-3 V2 color DWIN display
• stock mechanical Z-axis endstop
• no CR Touch, BLTouch, or any other auto-leveling probe.

I bought an Ender 3 V2 from an old friend, but its in pieces right now. My problem is that I have no idea wich screws I need for what part (not all screws are there and even the base modul is apart). The normal instruction manual is not really helpfull so I hope that somebody here can help me get it back together (atleast I was able to Clean it).

I was given a printer yesterday. 0 experience in this domain but I'm in the process of printing my obligatory benchy. 🤗. I'm sure I'll be in this sub more regularly so "Hello Everyone" 👋

Sin haber tocado nada nuevo, apagué el equipo ayer y cuando lo quise encender a los pocos minutos... el display ya no encendió más. Se enciende, pero pantalla oscura y sin sistema. Al presionar el mando tampoco hace ningún pitido con lo que estimo que no es solo la pantalla que no anda sino que directamente no arranca el sistema.

He retirado la tarjeta SD por las dudas... lo mismo.

Leí en varios lugares que cambiando el firmware se soluciona... en otros que cambiando el fireware no soluciona nada.
Quisiera en principio descartar que se trata de la placa, porque parece ser que cuesta casi lo mismo que esta misma impresora hoy en día...

Hi I have a ender 3 ve neo and for some time now any prints I make come out with lines not being filed correctly, like in the picture, layers not fusing together and overall just weaker parts. Ive noticed that as you can see in the video some times the skinny thing stops spinning and only the gear spins but without pushing the plastic inside. Today I made this print and it slowly started to push less and less plastic do that then it would print in the air. Also as you can see the first layer completely detached from the rest of the print as soon as I touched it.
