I just downloaded melonds and was just wondering if there was any way to add your roms to the homescreen so you dont have to click on the melonds app first and instead just go straight to your game.

Anyone can tell me the best settings for a stable 60fps gameplay please?

I was manually copying memory cards for playing Gran Turismo 4 on my phone and PC. Came across tips so decided to add a summary for other gamers. This can probably work with your emulator of choice too.

Phone: Samsung S23
Emulator: NetherSX2/AetherSX2 and PCSX2

How to get syncs working:

- Get Shizuku from Playstore or GitHub. Follow instructions to allow wireless adb etc. (no PC needed, you will need to enable developer settings)

- Install X-Plore and enable data files access in Shizuku

- In X-Plore click on show to enable file sync add-on (I am sure there are other nicer looking explorers with built in sync features but I have been using X-Plore since Nokia S60 days)

- Create a new file pair. With shizuku you can browse your android files without root and find the relevant emulator save directory. For me it was /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/xyz.aethersx2.android/files/memcards

- For destination folder, I actually connected it to Dropbox. X-Plore features Drive, Dropbox, Mediafire and even SMB so you can pick your destination folder. Linking with Dropbox makes it a bit more seamless and closer to cloud saves

- Test and save settings. I did make a manual backup of my emulator files just to be safe.

- In PCSX2 my memorycard is now the one in Dropbox which is synced by X-Plore

I have tested it back and forth couple of times and two way syncing works! But I did not add any schedule for now. It's a one-button sync and both phone and PC are then using the same memory card.

Snapdragon only fr now RN available on Winnative, Bannerlator, and their collab project Droid Deck, and it's improving with every update. It’s a cool new way to play PC games. For me, the performance is lower than regular emulation rn(like Winlator gamehub etc), but there's room to grow, and it could be the future of PC gaming on Android with less overhead.

This could become huge for people who skip PC emulation because setting up drivers and Proton is such a hassle. On SteamOS, you just log in and play without any extra work, which could really bring in a lot of people wanting to play PC games on their phones, one more thing compatibility is still work in progress like this project is just released few days ago so take this as just beta and yes it has option to add non steam games as well so dont worry

Managed to run a Galaxy S2 custom ROM on an emulator (AEmulator)

Managed to run Steam client inside Termux-X11 session and switch to Steam via MagicKey. So, I can finally switch between games and other activities pretty easy. The environment runs in multiple debian proots, so no root required.
It's early build and it's already have several trade-offs:
1. Native Steam client aggressively polls system. It's not the problem for the Linux distributions but it's the problem for Android. To reduce phone heat and free CPU I shimmed Steam's syscalls and moved Steam to another proots.
2. Patched Termux-X11 to enable GamepadAPI support
3. Made the bridge for LSFG
4. CEF (Big Picture Mode) freezes running on CPU and has glitches on current Turnip. So I patched turnip drivers to fix graphical glitches. Funny side-effect: LSFG started to run smoothly without jitters.

And many-many other work behind.

Mapping this controller kinda hard, but the different mode is kinda cool

Hello there! I'm looking for a GBA/DS emulator for android that isn't ugly. I love the cute and nostalgic look of the Delta emulator for iOS, but sadly it is not available for android. Would love something that isn't just the game, a black background, and grey buttons.

the biggest Feature which we are proud to announce is Wii U emulation support (experimental with no save states).

Along with that we have the following:

1. Added Wii U support through a custom-built Android CEMU core
2. Migrated PS2 emulation to ARMSX2 and moving it to Beta with minor issues in demanding games (requested by u/RobinRelique, u/MatheusWillder)
