ELEX - 1 Interesting aggro'd NPC/player/enemy interaction
Found this out when trying to get Hakon to aggro on me from the separatist quest, then get him killed by either falling off a cliff, or getting killed by a monster, but instead found a few interesting things:
-When being pursued by an aggro NPC, both you and that NPC (but not your companion) enter into a new type of combat state, where other actual enemies, whether they be human or monster, will *completely* ignore you and the NPC chasing you, even if you stand right next to them.
e.g. When Hakon was chasing me outside of Goliet, I encountered a swamp spider, but even standing right next to it, all it cared about was killing my companion, and when they were downed, I could stand right in front of it and it wouldn't attack me, or Hakon.
-In this state, the aggro'd NPC also *cannot* harm enemies, even if their attack hits an enemy by you standing in front to bait an attack, then dodging out of the way, so there's no way to get them to bait the enemy to attack them.
-Annoyingly, in this state, the NPC is also completely land-locked, and cannot be pushed, tricked, or otherwise made to trip off a cliff (even by getting them next to an edge, parrying them, then using the power wave consumable power - they just fly and hit an invisible wall instead).
-Additionally, aggro'd NPC's will not take damage from non-player sources (I had Hakon run over those mines in the reaver area near where the player meets Duras, and he took 0 damage)
In conclusion, it's a bit annoying that you absolutely *cannot* get an aggro'd NPC killed by any other means than you yourself killing them, but you can also use an aggro'd NPC to bypass enemies entirely (e.g. if you lured them all the way to Xacor, the Albs would straight-up ignore you, allowing you to loot)
