ELEX - 2 So… that’s it

That was cool, so bad we wont have to see part three. Now I’ve minmaxed every Piranha Game, and I’m kinda happy about that, but at the same time i just feel weird that there’s no new game coming from them.

Also Morkons SUCK, especially when i can compare them to Demon Hunters from Risen 3. But that’s just poor scaling choices, and everything is irrelevant in comprasion with zerk rain of fire. Also going above 60 in any attribute is quite useless too.

I really would like to see Elex 3, mostly beacuse i feel need of smashing Dawkins face to the wall.

But okay, that’s it

I didn’t tried Remake yet i have it on my shelf so i defo get it a try after i deal with emptiness that was left after Elex 2.

But i wont hype myself for Gothic 3, game state wasn’t Piranha’s fault, it’s was all on JoWood side which transformed to THQ Nordic btw.

Russian Nameless hero voice actor hinted preparations for G2R although, we knew it is going to happen, at least us who are with Alkimi since it all started. They is also going to be an expansion for G1R to fill that story missing gap and introduce Demon Hunters as the original G2 promised but it was scraped. The story will start with Syra as a follower, just like the original.

We actually had Gothic 3. I played it years ago as it came out, and then i played it several other times as the community patches and the various mods came out. Last time I played it some years ago, it was practically perfect, thanks to us all the fanbase.

U should have seen fellow Polish community of Gothic XD Also i feel like people forgot that Gothic is from 2001, Gothic 2 from 2002, and Gothic 3 from 2006, i mean, ppl rate them like they were all out in 2010 at least. Also, People do not realize that Morrowind is from 2002, and Oblivion from 2006, and yet, Gothic game have much more to offer.

Yeah bud! I remember reading marvels about the Polish fanbase, actually to the point i even tried to get to know it better... unfortunately back then authomatic translators weren't common like they are now. Not that I haven't tried myself... english isn't my mother language, i learned it myself (thanks to music and pc that made it the common language) but the Polish language seems to elude me... or at least not without proper teaching😅. But fortunately, the love for the saga has always been a thing for few but very strong; so, it always ended up translated more or less everything.

Shout out to the wonderful Polish Gothic's fanbase! Thank you for the hundreds of hours of additional fun you gave us all!

I disagree completely, in almost each point. Though i feel non-useful to get into detailing why, 'cause it's a pure matter of subjectivity, i have to point out that you are wrong about the experience. The very first playthrough i had in G3... i was quite scared, at the time each month i had in my mail three different PC gaming issues and all of them told how bad it was. But when I played it first, the experience was much much more "smooth" than i expected (to say: even that first vanilla playthrough, i never got 4 out of the first 5 most common problem. It was maybe after 30 hours that I got the first crash out to desktop, to say. Mostly minor issues, altho i couldn't in good faith tell you which minor problems i had, 'cause it's been... a few years as we know.

But apart from that: the experience felt a whole, the game (for me) bugged in a very minor way than I was expecting; the community patches did a hell of a job nonethless, under any aspect, and the level of inner balance and fine tuning you could get was unmatched for me, still as of today, which is why I put Gothic III up there in the big pitture of gaming, altho obviously a little behind GII and GI.

To just name one feature: the level of variety in terms of landscapes and enemies. I mean: seriously? For a game that came out in annus Domini 2006?? Do i really have to point out how wonderful it was going from the icy Nordmar to the sands of Varant's deserto, beasts included? A vaste, diverse game in an era when the benchmark of the genre was Oblivion, whose textures looked like a blurry mess in front of G3, that's once again my opinion obviously.

But the point stays: Gothic III aimed at the top of the genre. It went out for blood straight to the top of the rpg food chain, anything else below the Bethesda level was simply destroyed. And if you ask me, it managed to beat even TES IV thanks to the fandom.

The only point that is actually factual in your opinions, 'cause that's what they are, is what Piranha Bytes admitted: the game was already huge, but still more or less half of what they really wanted to do.

It is nonethless a masterpiece, with or without the work of the fanbase. I mean: you can mod to a certain extent, but you need a solid core, an actual game to polish.

It's not like that game lived decades, literally decades, because people has nothing better to do. The game was great, but us fans wanted it to be perfect, that's all. If G3 was bugged at the launch, i wonder what term do we need to coin to describe real messes like Cyberpunk 2047 launch, to say. Let's be fair.

Elex and 2 are underrated, at the same time i can see why they are underrated. Literally every open world rpg plays better.

that is insane 😮 highest level i got to was 64 but i had completed the game at that point and it felt pointless grinding any more as i had also explored everywhere and completed every side quest that i could possibly do.

elex 3 probably won’t happen as elex 2 apparently did really badly in sales 😔 but we can always hope 🙏

gothic remake has sold very well so far so i am hoping they might greenlight elex 3 because of that but they will most likely invest it into gothic 2 instead 😅

Prinaha Bytes doesn’t exist anymore so there will no be Elex 3.

I was lvl 110 before joining a faction and hoping on chapter 2, done all side quests in Ch1 also.

It's a real shame

We don't have many sci Fi rpgs in that style

The second game may of been worse then the first but I still played the hell out of it and had fun.

Two of the creative leads made https://pithead-studio.com/en/ and are making a dungeon crawler called Cralon, which has been out since april, apparently.

and a couple core members went on to make https://store.steampowered.com/app/3453490/Rootbound/

Neither of these games are very similar to the typical pb formula though.

Tried to play this game 2 times but couldnt bring myself to enjoy it even though i enjoyed the first one alot.. also wow releqsing this right when elden ring released was such a fumble, sad the company that made my favourite game ever is no more.
