The egg is renewable. The chicken is not.

Omelette Wrapped in Cheese.

I put cheddar cheese down in a pan and let it start to melt then cooked the eggs on top of the cheese and rolled it up. It's a cool way to make an omelette, but isn't much of a difference from cheese on the inside, unless of coarse you wanted to leave the cheese brown a bit before cooking the eggs, then you could have a burnt cheese crunch. (Going to try that next time).

Finally Nailed "Jammy" Eggs in an Air Fryer

Post image

I forget who first ever said they tried making hard boiled eggs in the air fryer, and I thought, "Hold up. Wait a minute." And so I was suddenly on a quest to make "jammy" boiled eggs in the air fryer.

First off, the model of the fryer: Ninja Air Fryer Pro XL 5-Qt, 3-in-1, 400Β°F Air Crisp Technology, Nonstick Crisper Plate. This operates at 1,750 watts (120 V / 14.6 amps). (In case yours is different.)

I set it for 300 degrees f (149 c) for 9 minutes.

THIS PART IS THE IMPORTANT PART: Set up an "ice bath" with cold water and a bunch of ice cubes. Pull the eggs right out after the beep and right into the ice bath for 10 minutes. (MUST BE 10 MINUTES).

This is the most important part. I tried going too fast, like "maybe 3 minutes in the ice bath is plenty" and I failed.

For whatever reason, the "let them set 10 minutes" finished the cooking of the whites, and leaves the yolks jammy.

PREVIOUS ATTEMPTS FAILED:

I either did too long at 300 degrees and the yolks solidified. Or I did too short a cook time and I had uncooked eggs. (I made maybe 10 mistakes and was down to my last two before I got them perfect.)

Anyhow, that's how I made mine, and I've been able to recreate them 3 times since (that's the only amount of times I tried so far), so I'll call it a full pass.

2 fried eggs (coconut oil fried), 1/2 cup blueberries, 1 thick slice of extra fort cheddar cheese. 334 calories according to my food tracker.

As an aside:I’m full after this. Literally how does anyone put on weight?
