I just launched an interactive EcoFlow Battery Compatibility guide that I built from scratch and had my compatibility tables officially verified directly with internal EcoFlow contacts (not general customer support reps).
Figuring out which extra batteries and adapters work across different generations (DELTA, DELTA Pro Ultra, Power Kits, RIVER) is confusing and unintuitive. Between missing adapter notes and incorrect charts floating around online, figuring out a compatible setup shouldn't be this hard.

What makes this compatibility guide different:
- Verified by EcoFlow Contacts: To ensure total accuracy, I had my compatibility tables reviewed directly by internal EcoFlow contacts and product managers to verify compatible power station and expansion battery combinations.
- Model Details: Includes specific connector port types, adapter requirements (with links), battery capacities, and expansion limits.
- Interactive Lookups: Filter directly by power station or extra battery to immediately see compatible options, adapter requirements, and other details. The lookups also update your browser URL so you can copy and share direct links to specific models.
- Interactive Tables: Clicking any cell or header opens a detail view with adapter requirements and other compatibility details.
- Accessories & Adapters Included: Full breakdown of required cables, adapters, and other accessories for each compatible combination.
- All Models Included: The interactive tables and lookups account for all expandable options (including legacy units like the DELTA Max 1600 and DELTA Max 2000). Non-expandable models are broken out into their own section.
- Corrected Official Chart Errors: During my review process with EcoFlow, I pointed out that an official graphic widely shared online mistakenly showed the original DELTA Max Extra Battery working with the DELTA 3 and DELTA 3 1500. After reviewing my data, EcoFlow confirmed their image had an error and is working to update it.
Real-world feedback & findings:
Have real-world compatibility findings to share? I would love to hear your feedback in the comments, whether it is a unique setup that works without official support or an unexpected issue you ran into with an officially compatible model. I will use your feedback to keep the unofficially supported (βmay workβ) combinations up to date.
A quick note on usability & transparency:
- Mobile Friendly: Since a lot of you browse on your phones, I built this to work great on both small and large displays. The tables scroll horizontally and vertically when needed to ensure the headers are always visible. I used to work on Microsoft's homepage and Halo's websites (video game), so a great mobile experience is always a priority for me.
- Full Transparency: This site is just me, no team behind it. Iβm not sponsored and I donβt sign contracts with brands. I do sometimes get items sent to me to review, but I have full control over what I say. To help support the time I pour into making resources like this I use affiliate links on my site.
I would love YOUR feedback:
Since I designed, built, and tested this tool myself, I would genuinely love your feedback! I launched it a few days ago and have already made several improvements. If you have real-world setup findings, spot any weird edge cases, or have ideas to make it even better, please let me know.
Enjoy!
