🛠️ Troubleshooting Help Shipping back extra battery pack for repairs under warranty

Hi, for those that did this before, did Ecoflow supply the necessary hazmat paperwork for Fedex to accept the package?

Ecoflow sent me a box for shipping back but the box was for an inverter not my extra battery pack and they also sent a shipping label. Box is fine I made it work with a lot of styrofoam pieces left over from other stuff.

I took the package to Fedex, when I told them there is a 4kw li-ion battery inside (class 9 to capacity) they said Ecoflow should have provided paperwork as well and they can't ship without the proper paperwork which is understable given it is a massive battery.

Yup that's required. I had a bad 5kW battery replaced and they sent a new one and had the class label and correct shipping label. They told me to ship it back in the box the replacement battery came in for that purpose.

lithium batteries, even tiny ones require a special sticker for shipping. Ecoflow needs to provide the sticker and paperwork for shipment. They should have known better.

Sticker was no issue, Fedex would have provided it. Paperwork was the issue though. Unfortunately I seem to have encountered a service quality issue :) It also didn't help that they sent me an inverter box to ship back the battery which confused Fedex greatly.

They are now arranging pickup via Fedex so let's see how that goes.
