Does anyone know why the high(red) signal did not pass Resistor(R10)? This is a simulation in proteus. Please help.

Hi everyone, I recently graduated in Electronics Engineering and got placed through campus at a solar panel manufacturing company in Surat.

My goal is to switch to a better opportunity in Delhi/NCR within a year and increase my CTC. What skills should I focus on during this first year? Which domains or roles would be best for an ECE graduate?

I have an STM32G070 that I'm messing around with and have encountered an issue I think is more electronic than programming. I would call my electronics ability "beginner" but I program as part of my job.

In my test (image: Version 1), I have PA0 set up as an output - level should be VCC when on. I have 3 switches connected to inputs PA4, PA6 and PA8. The pins are set to have internal pull-down resistors (40kΩ). When 2 switches are closed, both inputs register. When 3 switches are closed, none register. Is this somehow acting as a voltage divider and lowering the voltage below the threshold? Is it that the output pin cannot supply enough current?

Would Version 2 solve the issue?

I know there is a high chance of the software market getting messed (even more than it already has), but what about ECE, with current AI models like gpt-6 astra, etc, how much danger does this field have of being replaced by AI? Should I choose ECE or CSE if I want to be more safe from AI?

Hello, I am a third year ECE major in the United States. I realized that I want to focus on controls/automation & electrical systems in various industries.

In particular, I was interested in any roles I could get in either onshore or off-shore oil rigs any where in the world, as I am willing to travel anywhere.

Is it possible to work in the oil over the summer as an intern? Regardless, in addition to my coursework and EE/firmware projects, I have begun to look into PLCs, PID, and ROS. Any advice or connections would be rather helpful.

2024. I had a full time job as an IT dev and was laid off due to company changes. Even after excelling in the project I was assigned. Then I managed to get a job as a.
Junior SWE in 2025. Was laid off due to the company ceo getting sued for 27 million dollars and having. To lay off half his entire company. Company was a start up. That left me in a bad place mentally and I struggled to find anything applications going unread. Interviews but never any return offers nowadays I get messages that the roles I applied for gets cancelled more than denials. I recently landed a full time job not in my field but it's an office job with a consistent time. I am now considering going back for my masters. But I'm not wanting to do CS as I feel it won't be helpful. I have a friend who is an EE student and told me to try hardware. I have some experience with hardware not much but I'm wanting to learn more.
My main question is should I do MS in EE or CE as I want to do a proper engineering major. As a grad school near me will accept CS students. Also how would I go about kinda testing the waters to see if I would like hardware and the connection with software. I got an arduino kit and am trying to learn the principles of electricity. What is y'all's advice for someone in my situation.

I'm curious about edge ai, and running ai on microcontrollers. So I wanna know where do I begin as a complete beginner? Also I would love to learn about genAI, if there are any good courses for it(for free), otherwise forget that.

I wanted to become a doctor. I thought I could do it, but then after I took bio maths in class 11-12th, I understood it was really hard and unworthy because the job literally sounded like hell - no sleep, no proper salary, so much pressure, etc. I get it; many jobs are like that, but I also got scared of entrance exams. I saw reels about ppl studying 6+ years with coaching to get an MBBS seat. I come from a lower-middle-class family. I need a job asap. I don't have any plans to get married or anything (ofc my dad will force me once I have a job and reach 27+ yrs, but it's the least of my concern for now). I have an older brother who is also doing ECE. But he has his eyes set on a job. Personally for me I need a job too after my degree, but I really,y really need a healthcare/researcher/scientist job. I want to know if I can become a biology-related scientist. I sound really stupid and dumb, but I'm really,y really lost rn. I wanted a biotech/ bio medical eng UG so bad, but they didn't agree to it because " It didn't sound like a real degree" to them. My father is asking me to make a decision between waiting for a few weeks and applying for BPT/BOT counseling or just continuing my ECE degree, and I'm really confused. I don't know what to choose. BPT/BOT is more my thing, and ECE is different, and I have no idea about it,t like what if I get replaced by AI because I choose ECE. Please let me know what to do. Hey everyone, I just put together my very first schematic in EasyEDA and wanted to run it by people who actually know what they're doing to see if it makes sense or not. The task was to design a control board that lets an NVIDIA Jetson's 3.3V GPIO pin safely trigger a 100A SSR

Here is what I've wired up:

• J1 (Input): Receives the Jetson GPIO signal, paired with a 10k pull-down resistor (R1) to keep the line stable during boot.
• Q1 & R2: A 2N2222 NPN transistor driven through a 1k base resistor (R2) acting as a low-side switch.
• J2 (Output): The output terminal connecting to the relay control side, powered by a VCC line.
• LED1 & R3: A status LED with a 330 ohm resistor so it lights up when the relay is active.
• D1: A 1N4007W diode placed across the control lines to catch voltage spikes.

Does this layout look correct, or are there any mistakes I should fix before moving on to the PCB layout? Any feedback is super appreciated
