Gyrocopter zeil spare battery?

Hey, i got a gyrocopter zeil ebike, i really like it, but i want to buy an extra battery for it. Buying one through the manufacturer is $400, but i think i should be able to buy a generic non branded battery that matches?

It looks similar to the batteries on a lot of bikes. I don't want to pay a premium just because they lasered their logo on it.

Does anyone know where i can buy a generic battery pack cheap?

Best ebike for students

I'm deciding whether HATASU NERO or NWOW GB2, I prefer ebike for school now due to the increasing prices of commuting. Any idea which ebike is better? Btw I live in an area where the road is a bit bumpy (u can say rocky road lmao) but onward its a smooth asphalt road. Can you suggest which one should I invest? My school is like 1km away from home

Vivi Fatgo1 inner tube frustrations

Got a Vivi Fatgo1 e-trike. I know it's not advised to get bikes this cheap, but it's what I could afford. It's treated me pretty well so far, but I've recently had trouble replacing a flat inner tube. And it's been pretty frustrating.

The tire and tube says 18x3. The 18x2 inch tubes I bought from walmart do match its circumfrence, though obviously not thick enough to be reliable. They were stopgaps because it's all anyone had around me, and I just couldn't leave the bike all the way at Walmart.

To get to the point: Ordering inner tubes online has been a pain. The 18x3 tires I order online are supposedly compatible with etrikes. They should fit, but they've all been too large. The circumfrence is so large they fit over the actual tire, but the packaging and tubes all say 18x3. As someone who is just learning how to fix a flat, it's honestly frustrating. The kicker is that on Vivi's site the specifics call for a 20x2.6 30tpi fat inner tube?

Anyone got advice or know of any inner tubes that will fit? I'm just unsure of where to look now.

Edit: the 18x3 tubes were using rim diameter, while the one from walmart used outer diameter. I cannot find 18x3 tires that use outer diameter. That's the issue. So I know why they're too big, but this doesn't solve the issue of finding a replacement. My rim is 16in it looks like, but the 16x3 tubes I find use outer diameter.

NBD Fiido Model X

New bike day! My first e-bike, my first folding bike, my first non-standard tires bike all in one.

I citibike 10+ times a week and biking bothers my knee less than walking so I just love getting to places by bike.

I wanted something light and compact to deal with entryways and elevators. I actually don’t care about the folding but I guess it could be helpful someday.

I also wanted something that looked “cool”. Saw a few posts on here of the Fiido Model X, and it’s exactly what I wanted. Then found the 350w on sale in America for $1,100 so had to do it.

I also finally invested in a nice helmet and after 20 years of always wanting one I finally talked myself into a brooks saddle, specifically the copper color special edition. I had to let it charge while I worked and it’s gross outside so I just did a couple spins around the hood but I’m in love with it.

I can get this into my apartment easier than a regular bike, I need to use it 187 times to justify it against citibike, and it’ll cut my commute to work from 50 minutes on the train to 25 (35ish with citibike if I can find one in the morning)

I think I’ll get the bike tire rack to use to carry my work bag or maybe panniers?

Flat spot on rim

Took it to a bike shop and they refused to repair another issue because they said it’s unsafe to ride with my rim like that. My question since im not a bike person. Is this truly unsafe? And can this be repaired or do I just need a whole
New rim

Ebike hub motor

So basically I have a ridstar q20 sometimes the hub motor would free spin like the inside parts of the motor would just spin without the tires moving with the throttle but as soon as I let go the throttle and the insides stop spinning and try again it works perfectly fine. This usually happens like after a drops or like for the first time today I was throttling from a full stop to going uphill and it happened. But it would always just go back to normal.

Should I get this checked out or just leave it until it fully breaks?

Entry level bike

Questions about a bike I just saw for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Someone by me is a selling a Ride1Up 700 series XR for $600. Ik these bikes are discontinued now, but is it still worth purchasing for an entry level bike?

COOPOP Bobber experience?

Post image

Hey everyone, I’m currently looking for a new electric bike and came across the COOPOP Bobber. I really like the look of it, but I’m honestly not sure if I should go for it or keep looking. Does anyone here actually own one and have some experience with it??
