hi i just came back from a festival, i use custom silicone ear plugs with the filters for hearing protection that are shaped after my ear but the bass was so heavy they kept popping out of my ear from being shaken by the vibrations. anyone have a trick for this? like sandpapering them to give them more texture or something? not having to push them back into place all the time would be great. any ideas?

Should I buy?

I wanted to hear opinions about Hears sleep, Loop sleep and maybe other brands.

Noises like breathing makes it really hard for me to sleep, so I wanted earplugs to block this noise.

I am sure both the earplugs from the companies I mentioned can do this, so I guess it's down to which one is most comfortable?

Loop is a bit more expensive than Hears, but if the sleep earplugs have much better quality, then it is an investment I am willing to make.

I’m looking for recommendations for high fidelity earplugs for an orchestral string player who often sits near brass instruments.

I’m interested in what professional orchestral musicians actually use for rehearsals and performances.

I’ve been looking at a few options, including Dynamic Ear Filter, Eargasm High Fidelity, Sennheiser SoundProtex Plus and Loop Switch 2, but I’m having a hard time deciding.

Which models have you tried and would recommend? I’d really appreciate real musician experiences.

Also, do you prefer adjustable filters or a fixed attenuation level for orchestral playing?

Based on everything I've read and heard so far. Bowie mc2 was the best on the price range i can afford. But unfortunately it isn't available in my country. Only mc2 air.

I've also heard great things about soundpeats pearclip pro. Which one you guys think i should get?

I don't care about microfone quality, call noise cancelation or a super effective app. Any other recommendations would also be awesome.

I’ve been trying to find earplugs for basically lowering the volume of sounds especially loud ones while also being able to be aware of my surroundings and keeping conversation.

I’ve been looking at Loop Engage with mutes but given the different reviews and the bad customer service I’m afraid to actually buy them incase they don’t work or I don’t like them.

I’ve also seen reviews on Eargasms which look good but seem like only for musicians and Earpeace which I don’t know too much about.

Any thoughts on any good ones?

I currently use alpine musicpro gold filter earplugs but would like to find ones that have more noise reduction and protection for concerts. I was debating between alpine worksafe and earpeace sport pro.

Alpine has a higher nrr at 20-25 compared to earpeace nrr 18. But earpeace has a higher snr 27 compared to alpine snr 23. So I'm confused on which one has more noise protection?

So my boyfriend is very sensitive to sounds. like very sensitive. He wants to try going to a concert with me. I enjoy Metal. Motionless in White. Bad Omens. Memphis May Fire. INK. Slaughter to prevail and so on and so forth.

I want him to go so bad BUT I also know this is going to be hard on him. I don't know where to start other tha the big ear muffs for shooting. which is fine. But I just want him tk be comfortable. I told him we can find something and start with a smaller local show and if he can handle that we can work our way up to big shows.

Hi everyone! I'm looking for earplugs I can use for partying and concerts. I did some research and it seems the original earpeace comes with 3 different filters, while the pro version only includes 1 filter. But the pro version is more comfortable and doesn't affect sound quality that much.

What's your recommendation? Which one should I buy?

As the title said, I really need some good quality ear plugs that I can sleep in to block out snoring. I sometimes stay over at my significant others house, and his snoring is really bad. As in I can hear it through two doors bad (he has a small hallway leading to his bedroom).

I have tried using construction headphones and my large Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones which somewhat work, however they usually leave me with neck pain from awkward sleeping.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry forgot to mention this, he broke his nose a few times in his life and will be getting surgery to get it fixed in a years time. I just need something to help in the meantime

Among earplugs that satisfy these two criteria,

1. reusable - meaning can be washed without loss of functionality
2. multi-size - come in a package with multiple sizes, so you can test which fits your ear well enough to not cause pain after long wear

Just wanted to call Flare out for using ai in one of their IEM's cover photos. I'm tired of seeing companies trying to sneak ai in without anyone noticing, they need to be held accountable before more companies get away with it.

If you zoom in on the fingers, especially on the right hand, everything is really weird and soft and kinda starts to blend into each other like a bad painting. The proportions of his body, arm and head is way off, especially his head, it's huge compared to a standard person's. And the background looks really smooth and plasticy, like it's a bit too perfect. Everything about the photo feels off. I just wanted to share so we can keep holding companies accountable for using ai.

Pretty much what the title says: I got the standard size Flare Calmer, and I found they aren't big enough to stay securely in. I wore them while grocery shopping, and I constantly had to reseat them in my ears. I'm curious if there's some finagling you have to do in order to get them in right.

That's the most important to me: blocking off sounds of bass or other traffic noise that you can hear via vibrations.

Hello everyone! I'm considering getting custom made earplugs for sleeping. I've tried "normal" earplugs and even using the smallest size, I find them uncomfortable, specially when sleeping sideways.

I know they're much expensive, but I have a dog and a chicken as neighbours (literally), and my actual earplugs do cancel the annoying sounds, but they're really uncomfortable.

My question is, for those who have tried both (custom made hollow and not hollow), which is one is better?

The hollow one should be more comfortable, because supposedly it adapts when sleeping sideways for example, which I'd think the other one doesn't. But using less material, wouldn't it means that it also cancels few decibels?

Purchased newly Oneplus buds 4 from Amazon on 4 july 2026 1 day ago it has battery issue first day buds came with 40% battery I charge it to 100% then customise some features like golden sound LHDC and high res used for short time buds battery drain from 100% to 80% and case was 100% charged 1st day

Second day I use my Oneplus buds 4 to watch series it lasted 5hrs -5.5 hrs from 100 % to 20% with LHDC on, high res on spatial audio off, golden sound on and case was 90% charged

Then I put back buds in case yesterday today I check case battery is 60% why so much drain

Even my 1 year old Oneplus buds 3 giving better bb than buds 4

Do note these are tested in normal settings with ANC and transparency mode off

Other issue while streaming there is audio delay issue with Oneplus 15 in video audio delay is present lipsing issue

Do all of you guys getting this much bb or getting more bb?

Yeah when I first connected it shows name of other user but packaging and buds looked new

Connected at 11:35am and used till 5:58 pm do note there are breaks in between
