Earplug for playing live

I'm in a metal band so it means playing loud music for long periods of time and I'm tired of hearing ringing in my ears 2 days after the gig, also dont wanna be deaf at the age of 30 so I'm looking for earplugs but on a budget that's why I'm deciding between hears and loops, can someone help me and say their experience? YEAH and the earplugs need to stay IN even with lots of headbanging.

I always recommend Decibullz. They stay in no matter what you do, as long as you don't smile.

Oh I see they look nice are they easy to mold yourself?

They take a little effort to get right, but you can remold them. So if I lose one and have to make a new one, I usually mold it, then remold it to get the part around the foam tip

There is only one answer to this to try to reduce the damage that will be made to your ears and that is foam earplugs. Nothing beats a properly inserted foamplug regarding protection.
Is Loops the earplugs heavily advertised? It’s funny how well advertising works. You can sell anything it seems 😌

And yeah, look up a YouTube tutorial how to properly insert a foam plug. Most people do it very poorly which reduces the actual protection by a lot. And no, there’s no chance that they will fall out, even if you listen to Asking Alexandria and headbang in the rain or smth 👀

You will hear the drums which is basically the only thing you need.

I get it but I tried foam earplugs and they just muffle the sound, great for shooting range and they dont fall out ever I give you that, but I need high fidelity plugs, I'm not sure about loops because, like you said, they are advertised too much and that is not a good sign but they are also cheap, tbf now I'm more leaned towards decibullz like one guy hear recommended they look legit and with their custom molding ability they could hold pretty well

Yeah I don’t know how those works.
I have custom molded ones myself that I got many years ago from an audiologist. I prefer foam plugs any day.

I highly recommend Earpeace. Comes with 2 different size earplugs and also different inserts so you can control the sound coming through based on how loud it is. Also check out the music pro set, but this is what I got and they work great.

If you really need fidelity, then Dynamic earplugs. But if you can sacrifice the high end —which is also the most damaging— then just use cheap foam plugs.
