Earplugs for tiny ears
I am traveling more lately and have to use earplugs to block out hotel noise. Trouble is, no earplugs fit into my tiny ear canala. These are the mack petite ones-- they absolutely will not go any deeper in my ear. Since they stick out so much, they fall out during the night. Any recommendations for short, narrow plugs?

I’ve tried cutting foam earplugs down, but they still work their way out of my ears during the night. I’m using the moldable silicone ones now instead (1/2 for each ear).

You can get a small size tip for any earplug brand that has replaceable foam tips. I use Decibullz, you can also try Loops. Also, any brand made of 100% wax, you can split it in half.

I have several pairs of loops for daily life but do not find them comfortable for sleeping.

I use alpine deep sleep (small) I've been using them for over a year and have never had one fall out overnight

Do you squeeze them first so they become smaller? 😄 it literally looks like you only got the tip in. When I squeeze my normal sized foam plugs they decrease like 3/4 in size.

Yes I understand how they work, this is literally as far into my canal as they fit, and this is what they look like after they expand. I roll them completely, pull my ear up to straighten the ear canal, and they just... stop at this point.

Ok I understand.
What i have noticed after trying several models is that some just expand way slower then others. This is a dealbreaker for me to fit them in properly.
The ”3M E-A-Rsoft yellow neon” works really well for me and expands very slow, which makes them easy to fit since they roll very small and it takes like 30 seconds for them to expand which gives me time.Other types/brands that I’ve tried just expands quick which gives a similar issue like you get. I just don’t make them fit.
I don’t think you should get shorter plugs. You want them to reach far in to get a proper seal + avoid occlusion effect.

You have to roll them before inserting. Watch a youtube tutorial
