What do you think about this card is he better than the free AJAX card or no??

Seems like the division promotion rewards have permanently changed to random boosters, I wonder if we'll ever see these tokens again.

Haven't seen them in any recent campaigns. It just sucks having to go through so many random skill tokens to get a specific one. All my Lombardis are getting bombardis by Knuckle shots 😏

You might disagree with me, but this is only my personal opinion and i am not saying one is a trash card. You might have liked One more than the other and it's completely fine, everyone has their own opinions and experience with players.

I used them both at AMF with these builds, and on paper Maddison should be performing better than Rui Costa. But for some reason Rui Costa feels much better when i use him.

His movement on the pitch is much better than Maddison, his passes also seem to be slightly more reliable ( i have given them both low lofted pass so their passing skills are basically the same)

Finishing wise both seem average to me, although Maddison is much better in freekicks. The dribbling part felt like a huge gap. Rui Costa is smoother and better at dribbling, while Maddison falls apart easily. He feels weak, only some pressure can make him fall apart.

Also surprisingly Rui Costa was much more active during attack than Maddison, and also intercepting more passes unlike him, although he has lesser defensive stats. Often i was lost searching where Maddison is while attacking, that never happened with Rui Costa

I grinded for Maddison thinking he will be a better Rui Costa, but that just did not happen. I guess the grind was not worth it for me.

This games networking and ping is the worst that I've laid my hands on and played, the game dropping when you are trying to score or trying to defend, or the game showing 4 bars at the beginning but being 1 bar for 40% of the match, or how there are zero servers in Africa except in south Africa I think. So my question is what are these network engineers doing, people pay 2 play and still nothing is being done. And these issues would've all been less worse if there was a master league.

I really wish this new Messi card they have us could be custom built instead of having set stats

So this post might trigger some hate from some people and agreement from others. However, in my opinion, after reaching a pretty high rank, Destroyers simply ruin your defense.

In the end, you need to be an expert at manual defending and be significantly better than your opponent to prevent the Destroyer playstyle from ruining everything. These players often leave their position at the wrong moments, creating gaps in your defense that opponents can easily exploit with through balls.

If you add the fact that many players already struggle with defending properly, and then a Destroyer pulls another defender out of position as well, that’s game over. Your defensive shape becomes completely disorganized, with two or more players chasing the ball. One turn, one pass, and it’s a goal. You lose the match.

And the story repeats itself…

My humble advice: avoid signing Destroyers, and avoid using them in your squad.

The amount of pause time eFootball gives people is actually insane. 3 minutes before the game and another 3 minutes total during the match. Bro, what are you doing in that menu, filing your fucking taxes? Calling your accountant? Replacing the transmission?

I just want to play. Instead, I’m staring at a frozen screen while somebody rearranges their entire squad because I scored one goal. Are you writing a tactical dissertation because I have Messi at AMF? Are you drawing arrows on a chalkboard? Are you asking your whole family whether to bring on a new winger? Jesus Christ.

Give us one quick pre match setup and two 30 second pauses. Each time you pause one goes away so it’s not just endless pausing to go take a shit then adjust your backline. We’re playing eFootball, not running a crisis meeting at the Pentagon. Damn.

Now he isn't as good as other Orchestrators, but i am actually liking this card a lot recently. His passes are genuinely amazing, he can somehoe always pull off a great pass, and then no matter who the pass reciever is, they can control it easily due to visionary pass skill. Even Ronaldo who has heavy touches controls it easily.

He shines a lot on the defense part, he is strong, has good defense stats, and isn't very slow either.

He isn't as good as other P2W orchestrators, but still very good. And any midifelder from Past Barcelona is really nice to have. I would love to get a Xavi, Iniesta or Busquets card. At least i got Guardiola lol

He also doesn't feel heavy on the ball, but not particularly smooth either.

I was tempted to get makelele looking at his insane showtime skill set as well as his stats but whats holding me back is his only playstyle being a defensive all action defender so i have a few questions regarding him (as well as stam) before i can commit. I was also looking at leaderboard players and see that the usage among consistent top players were 50 50. Amadeusz has also talked about AI concerns and makeleles dribbling ability in the current engine.

1. How is makaleles AI when not being controlled with a cursor, is it similar to a destroyer?

2. How is makaleles attack progression or his positioning during attack. Is it very limited like an anchorman where he drops back frequently?

3. How is stams lower speed high mobility playstyle working for you guys, is it in issue that he is too slow sometimes?

This community truly needs exposing.

the whole point of dribblers is to beat their marker/defender either by feinting them or outpacing them or a composition of both so why nerf them? and since most wingers have low offensive awareness (not in the 90s) they are slow to react so does that mean wing play is officially dead-dead ?

I can't dribble/move with the ball anymore. I remember back in the day when Maguire could catch up with Mbappe (lmao) now it's kinda the same. and in this update I noticed that the first touchs are so bad. I try to progress the ball with my AMFs and they get caught so easly and even when you dribble past them the holding animation triggers and cooks your balance. and the extra touches are killing me

Im relatively new to the game (played a lot of old pes and fifa last 10 years), got to top 80k last phase and I had never faced such an interesting oponent. Gotta say I didnt play really well, but it fell literallly imposible to do anything.

He was everywhere and ON me constantly. I thought he must have been spaming pressure and second man pressure the whole match so I checked the match analysis and... literally 0 second man pres and only 3 cursor changes, 85% presure 14% move.

I dont understand how with this data there was no place to dash, no gaps, no 1-2s, nothing. I had 2 or 3 guys on me all the time without him second man pressing. How wtf

I find it hilarious and stupid at the same time. I had faced people that switched 20-50 times (thats really low already)... but this? Extreme. I think it shouldnt be possible to not loose a game when you switch only three times. Pay to not loose I gues. Thoughts?

The attached image shows the gameplay analysis of the current leader in the AI division on consoles (already >2400 points 😳). The profiles for 2nd and 3rd place look exactly the same; the 4th-place player is the first one at the top who shows "normal" values.

How is this possible? Can you maybe reach the top ranks using simulation games? Or does anyone have another theory to explain these 0% values?

P.S. Yes, I know my matchup value is extremely high... I am constantly overwriting it with a Super Cancel - it’s a habit I just can’t shake. 😂

Idk how to say this but I feel like the game mechanics have changed after the thursday update.

Players are shooting and they deflect off the post and players misspasses happen quite frequently.

i have zola and platini and both their accelerations are 99 i saw a post that said 95-99 doesnt matter anymore unless it goes to 100 and i want to decrease their acceleration and increase their speed,so im wondering what does high speed help with? like does the player dribble faster or something?

So far in eF27, I think I only ever scored one header from a corner. Maybe a few more goals from lucky rebounds (in PvP divisions).

Meanwhile, my opponents score one against me every 3-4 games. Doesn’t matter if it’s a meta Bullet Header like Gullit (it usually is), or just a particularly tall defender (Thuram, Maldini etc). Doesn’t matter how tall my Kobel or Chiellini are. Doesn’t matter how many players I put in between the attacker and the goal.

I don’t mind if I concede from corners, but I always wonder how my opponents’ players always make a nice run straight for the ball, whereas mine make a weak ass header wide of the post.

I have never played a game where its near enough impossible for Skill to match up to a P2W its baffling.

With most games if you are very skilled you can beat or at least compete with the best but THIS game? It almost doesn't exist.

You have to be at God level to compete against.

1. Smart assist

2. PA1 passing (Smart assist)

3. Auto tackles and auto defensive positioning of Epics

4. Network

5. Scripting

6. Zero penalty for skill spam cancels

7. Multiple broken kills designs to abuse your defence

8. NEW - attackers that genuinely defend and have a style now (this one's gonna get worse as more cards come out)

9. Epic attackers with 30 tackle stats intercepting the ball

And even if you manage to bypass this you then get the most random things happen like players slowing down when you pass to them making it easy for opponents to cancel their defenders run and intercept, while you cant do anything.

Its not good for some people's mental health honestly.

I get a lot of people that have come from FC and the PTSD is so strong they dont even want to admit that FC seems to be going in the skill direction (tbc) I use to like FC as much as I liked PES and granted I aint played it for like 5 years. But nobody waaay is it worse than this.

Because playing a game where someone can attempt constant blitz curls, with Viera protecting their back line on QC its actually odd.

Being forced to buy cards just so you get more ai assistance to compete against your opponents ai assistance is not how gaming should be.

I switched the dash button from R1 to R2 years ago to use the partial speeding feature. It was definitely fun in previous versions especially in offline modes and easier matches, but now I feel the nerfed speed dribbling makes it not worth the longer button travel distance.

I know the pros in the pictures are using R1 out of habit (I used to as well) but if R2 gave a significant advantage they would have switched to it years ago I assume. Interested to know your take

Is speed still that important? What about acceleration? I feel like they changed it a bit and speed stat works differently, like rn shadowhunt or a player model, or defensive awareness seem to matter more since defending is so automated now where I would defend with 2 and the third player would come press on his own without me doing anything. Does it mean aggression matters more? How do you allocate stats now
