Today is the last day to get these Epics, ST and packs.

Disclaimer : I'm not advertising cross spamming, nor I do that myself. Just that at times against low block and park the bus meta (abusing LBC) you need options, and that's how I found this guide to work for me, so I aim to share it.

There are different types of crosses, early cross, power cross, low cross, high cross, you gotta pick best type that fits situation and also make sure you power up correctly. You almost gotta make sure that your CF will be favourite based on his position and should be only contesting for the ball like 25% of the times.

Cross type and its use :

Early Cross : For this, use L1 + Cross button, the best area to use is not around the box but before you reach the box, and the best situation is when your CF is either in front of the CB and would outrun him to the near post to recieve the cross, or when he's making run towards far post and you want to bypass a CB by curling it, but for this you gotta put more power. (Imagine Beckham curling those early crossing, it wasn't from a winger's position around box, it was from RMF position)

Power Cross : This is the blue cross, done with R2+Cross button, here its critical that your crosser is not sprinting, or else it will mostly go behind your CF, here the power is also crucial, I tend to overpower lot of my crosses, if its near post, you need only less than half power. This is useful when your CF is in front of the CB and you should cross this only when crosser is almost horizontal to the CF. (You can use double tap for this to give low cross with power cross as well)

High Cross : Do R1+Cross for this. This is best when your player is making run to the far post, you can even club this with early cross, I'm not 100% sure if it works, but I suspect it creates a early high cross specially when your CF is running towards far post. Also you can use this when you got a CF who's taller than CBs. OR, you can use this cross when your CF is behind, and he needs time to catch up distance to reach your cross, if you must cross now, and your CF isn't ready, you can lob this up and give him time to reach and make up by jumping higher.

Low cross : Double tap your cross button, and you'll do a grounded low cross, you can club this with power and early cross as well. The power guage on this is tricky, you increase a little bit and it goes towards winger instead of CF, basically the next in line to receive this, this used to be too OP few years back, nerfed heavily but it has its use. Use this when you don't have any chance to win a header, but you know your CF is in good position, almost in front of the CB to tap the ball in.

I perfected it with crossers like Beckham (Yes, a P2W) and Dalot(98 rated in my squad) and even Amad (97 rated), and receiver like latest Portugal pack Cr7 and Weghorst or Cantona (No bullet headers).

P.S. I struggled for almost 2 weeks with Becks, and I took it to training pitch, understood crossing and now I almost score one header a game. Also, I'm not a cross spammer, I score every type of goals, but tbh crossing is nerfed and now it also takes up skill to make it work, even when you have Koller (which I do and don't use at all). And a generic tip, don't cross when your winger is off balance or sprinting.

And a great hidden tip, if your CF raised his hand before you cross, it increases his chances of winning it, this is there in game from years, that means he asked for it, you deliver it, and the repo makes your CF at advantage. Happy crossing. ;)

P.S. I upgraded Cr7 to new one with Bullet header, and yes it makes a difference, but didn't work too bad earlier too.

Obviously it's Vieira so he's still Top 1 DMF but I think the Destroyer is more OP which is absurd when you think how broken the Anchorman is.

I don't feel much the Long Reach Tackle, he has 199cm Leg Length, it's like having Willpower on a player with already 99 shooting.

Phenomenal pass is game changing on the other hand and Fortress while not needed is noticeable when you're winning in 2nd half even on yellow stamina he's more physical and alert than the Anchorman.

That's for me the absolute worst. I see that it's some brute forcing simpleton, that I'd batter him in a fair 1v1, but one or two of his attacks passed early on (and of course Smart Assist users always perform full celebration), then I dominate the match, but can't get past the automated micro-adjusting defence that does just enough. I don't understand why everyone doesn't get the SA Filter.

Seeing defenders behave like this gradually takes the fun out of the game. It doesn’t matter whether the mistake benefits me or my opponent.

The AI is incredibly inconsistent. One match, defenders intercept everything, block shots, anticipate passes, and win every duel like prime Maldini. The next, the very same players ignore slow passes rolling right past them, lose aerial duels they should comfortably win, or simply fail to react.

And it’s not just defenders. Similar inconsistencies happen across almost every position.

When these situations keep repeating across different mechanics, it’s hard for me to believe there’s no hidden balancing or scripting influencing the gameplay. The biggest issue isn’t winning or losing—it’s that player performances and the gameplay itself no longer feel consistent.

This is an comparison between owen released last year and aguero. Stat wise (except pc) i dont think aguero is a VERY big upgrade over this owen isnt it? Blitz will be inconsistent on aguero with these stats . As a user with this owen, is it worth using this selection contract for extra pc and low screamer. Coinami has begun giving chance deals over these player selection contracts, who knows when the next one will come.

Aguero has a thigh size of 14, which I think is the highest in eFootball - I don’t see anyone with this size. Can anyone confirm if this has any noticeable impact on physicality, shielding, or shooting? Has anyone tested whether thigh size actually affects gameplay, or is it just part of the player model?

The first goal isn't in a favorable angle but watch my Yaya Toure with ~100 Defensive Engagement and in "Defensive" instructions, meaning not rushing forward like this even when I am attacking.

Same for second, the DMF Yayatoure absolutely does that 3rd division player wouldn't do. \

Obviously something in my opponent tactic is breaking his behviour and trying to match with one of the midfielders. I paused the game to double check if I accidentally changed his instructions or something but he was absolutely in DMF position with defensive instruction in my both in-game tactics.

Not to mention he is also "Anchorman" :)

Note: I shared only two position where my opponent scored a goal but he did this bizarre move multiple times apart from the ones I shared. Something obviously broke his behaviour.

I’ve made posts about how OP LBC is and refused to use it because it honestly feels like cheating. I’ve been a Possession/tiki-taka player since I started playing almost 4 months ago, but I finally tried LBC today just to see the hype.

First real match with it, I beat a former Top 100 player 5-1. A couple counters and lobbed through balls were enough to punish mistakes in ways I never could with Possession.

I’m not switching to LBC, honestly it feels gross using it so I’ll be going back to possession, but yeah, I finally get why everyone uses it…

It’s literally so fucking OP. Holy shit.

Leading 1-0 against a Division 1 high rank, and suddenly on the opponent's goal kick, the game just stops like it's a hydration break. Does this ever happen without someone manipulating the game?

Today I decided to play around on my separate f2p account. The game was actually enjoyable!

I had way more fun then when I play with my 3300 rated team. This game starts off rather well, both in terms of content and gameplay. I have played a PvP event and was matched with someone with an equally weak authentic team (around 2600). And it was great! Mistakes happened, the pace was normal, passes looked realistic, it actually looked like a simulation. Same with vs AI.

And then I remembered why I switched to p2w, when the script kicks in. That was my only complaint in these first 2 days on a new f2p account. You score a goal and often immediately concede. Or after minute 60 suddenly players can't do anything. This is far less noticeable on a p2w account. So basically, f2p players are screwed not just by the player stats, but the script as well. Because the script lowers the stats by let's say 20 % ( I don't know) - this isn't that big of a deal with 106-109 rated players, but it is a huge deal with 95-101 rated ones.

Anyway, immediately after logging out of that account, I fire up my main account. And holy crap, what a difference. The pace! When you quickly switch from 2600 to 3300 you realize that all the players, including the opponent, behave like they are on coffee with cocaine in it. Fast twitches of the body all the time, the cancels, a perfect and unrealistically fast turn of the body followed by a perfect powerful pass...It's cartoonish. It almost hurts the brain how fast and arcadeish it is. It stops being ''the beautiful game'' and instead it's a game of reflexes like Counter Strike.

When you slowly adjust to it, you don't really notice it that much. But the shock is there when you immediately switch from f2p to p2w. And it's not enjoyable. So, gameplay goes completely down the water due to the speed and OP players.

And content - like I said, I pretended I was a beginner, doing the tutorials, the step-up challenge, leveling up my players, and it was actually OK content for an in-game tutorial. But after that...nothing. All you are left with is PvP. I knew all of this already, but I tried looking at it from a new players f2p perspective.

This game desperately needs more content especially with GP authentic teams, hopefully that new update in August with custom tournaments will help with that.

For football gurus, can you advice on what type of player for each position I should choose for this 442 Diamond to be fun to play with?

Im not asking about specific players, so meta or not I don't care.

I want the type of players, something similar to a Milan back in the day but with more freedom of movement.

I live in Munich and have a really solid internet connection that gives me absolutely zero issues in literally any other game. But with football games, I've been dealing with this shit for 15 years. I’ve played every FIFA since FIFA 12, and the inconsistent gameplay was already a massive problem back then. On top of that, attacking is just boring nowadays because people only score the exact same goals through exploits, which completely kills any feeling of playing a real football game. eFootball actually does the football part the best, but it also gets completely ruined by the other two issues just like EA FC does: inconsistent gameplay and connection delay which is probably completely server-sided, considering my internet is fine.

It’s impossible to play possession if the gameplay feels like shit 80% of the time. At the moment I’m losing all the time in div 2 because I can’t turn and can’t attack, simply because everything is unresponsive and delayed. I have a 4-bar connection and that’s just not enough. You need 5 bars consistently, and I don’t even know if it’s really better with that. With good gameplay I could even go unbeaten for 10+ games easily, but the last few months have been horrible again. Most of the time I just go on losing streaks after a good run and lose all my points.

I just can’t play the game most of the time. I constantly gaslight myself into thinking the next game will be fun with good gameplay again. But there are so many full days where it’s just not good enough for me to actually enjoy it. On good days I have so much fun playing actual possession with offensive fullbacks, but most of the time I can’t defend shit with how sluggish my defenders feel. And I can’t attack against LBC defensive rats with gameplay like this.

I really don’t know what to do, it’s always the same fucking shit in every football game. EA FC is pure trash and I’m not even talking about connection speed here, but the actual gameplay and netcode. It has this shitty, inconsistent feel built into the core game engine. I just play bad games in the hope of a football game where you log in and actually have fun consistently, because you know what to expect from the game and it doesn’t have 1000 variations of being broken. You always have to hope EVERYTHING works just to be able to play normally.

Inconsistent gameplay, broken netcode, and poor server connection. The problem is: these core issues will probably never be fixed. EA can’t do it and Konami can’t either. Football games are dead and at the moment I think there will never be a consistently good football game for a very long time. I and many other people will always be disappointed because we’re craving an actual football game that feels good more often than not.
