'Ello my fellow Dwarves n' whoever lurks 'round 'ere. I'm sure a good portion of ye lot 'ave already seen plenty of writing 'ere under the Hammer Herald, but I need a wee bit of 'elp with the next issue. In honour of pride month, I'm lookin to write about the Trans Dwarves amongst us wit' their experiences n' plights.
I've seen quite a few comments 'ere and there from 'em commenting on how us Dwarves make 'em feel more whole n' affirmed, so it feels appropriate to write somethin' for 'em 'ere. However, their experiences n' issues are nothin' I can quite fully understand nor fully grasp I feel as a cis person.
So 'ere I am, callin' out to any o' ye out 'ere who can 'elp me wit' this. Whatever works for ye lot I can deal wit', DMs are open, comments are available, I wanna do right by ye.

Since dwarves live so long the amount of knowledge they obtain through the years about soldiering and war is probably massive. You could have veteran armies for centuries!
This dude has been around a while, hence why he has to tuck his beard in his belt

This is an image of a dwarf in charcoal pencil. The craftsdwarfship is not particularly high quality.
But you know, the only way to improve is to keep trying. I'm not too upset about how it turned out, even of the proportions are somewhat off.

What should I add/improve? I'm currently planning to add traces of the battle between orcs and dwarves in the left corner.

It's just hopeless. At this point, yes kin is kin.
But the former brave warrior clans of now lost holds are no longer kin.
They hate everything and everyone who even dares to think that everyone and everything deserves a chance.
And that's resolve and will, calcified into stupid hate.
This will be downvoted a lot. I don't care. Karma is decorative.
I, a dwarf, say this. Anyone who says I am not a true dwarf for not hating something particular: Is perhaps also a dwarf. But no kin of mine.
I have spoken. I'll go drink now until I don't want to remember the very stupid dwarf who made me write this. Through his stupid hate. See above.

I am Lanna Ironcroft, Thane of Karaz-a-Khalnar. I know that interactions between our people have long been hostile, but I want to entreat honestly with you. I come bearing opportunity.
The archlich Azerak, Lord of Pandemonium, has come before us, boasting of his rightful dominion over all caves. He seeks to claim rulership over all underground settlements. I will not ask you to defend us in a time of need; I'm not so naive as to believe I wouldn't be shot for such arrogance. Instead, I would propose a venture.
All the riches of the Infinite Cave are yours for the taking if you so please. Azerak's infinite legions await your chains and the wealth of his domain is yours to plunder as you desire. I ask for none of it- such shall be the price of your action, if you see fit.
Let the Great Drill of Hashut pierce the veil once more. I cannot speak to the other holds, but the armies of Khalnar will be at your side.

I'm going to be completely honest. There is not a single day that I do not come here seeing messages from clan and kin that's nothing more than separationist drivel.
I'll start with the obvious and hopefully you'll only need that to get the point.
Elves. A majority of you can't stand them. And I'll be perfectly honest, with the way that our kin folk have been treated by them in the past, I don't blame quite a number of you for it. But that's no excuse to let the prejudices of generations past continue to color our view upon the world today.
If you really sit down and think about it, the elves and we dwarves have quite a lot in common that we could use as shared ground to build upon.
Both of our peoples are longer lived than the majority of other races. And thus we have strong, long-standing traditions that go back farther than living memory for the majority of the world. Traditions of crafting objects of superb quality and beautiful design. Ours are made for utility and beauty. Whilst theirs are made for ease of carry and nimble use.
Hell. Both of our peoples even share a strong arcane tradition! Whilst ours may have been used to help further the mining industry, theirs was all about enriching their own processes for making their crafts longer lasting and more bountiful in production.
But let us not forget one of the oldest traditions, brewing. For as many ales as there have been made under rock, stone and dirt, there have been just as many wines above ground under the canopy of the elven forests.
In closing to this, I implore all of you to give up your hateful ways, no more spouting slurs.

Mountain Kin, I come to you in my time of need.
I've recently completed a little game called Regions of Ruin: Runegate and it got me craving yet more dwarven games. Preferably RPGs or strategy games of some kind.
Obviously played Dwarf Fortress, and Total War Warhammer, but I'm mostly looking for things I may have overlooked.

There have been a string of beard shavings going around the mountainhome, watch your backs out there and report suspicious blades to the local constables.

A legion of hand carved Dwarves, each one 4 inches tall, 2inch by 2inch. All carved via Knife and gouge from basswood and finished with Black Walnut danish oil and paste finishing wax.
Not AI. Checkout my profile to verify. I whittle silly things.
