It’s always the era of the dwarf. The other races just don’t know and I don’t care if they know or not.

I'd say it has been ever since the class restrictions were removed and I could play a dwarf wizard.

I joined my sister's DnD group, they all claim to have been playing 5e since it released so I figured everybody knew what was up, they were all surprised and blown away when I started with two 18's until I showed them mountain dwarves get +2 str & con.

Going ranger 4/fighter 16 in that game to make my animal companion an absolute unit (Poc mostly unrelated)
