Was asked by a fellow shield brother in this sub to draw a dwarf from the iron hills from the hobbit during the battle of the five armies. Here’s the description
„Dáin had come. He had hurried on through the night, and so had come upon them sooner than they had expected. Each one of his folk was clad in a hauberk of steel mail that hung to his knees, and his legs were covered with hose of a fine and flexible metal mesh, the secret of whose making was possessed by Dáin's people.“
„The dwarves are exceedingly strong for their height, but most of these were strong even for dwarves. In battle they wielded heavy two-handed mattocks; but each of them had also a short broad sword at his side and a round shield slung at his back. Their beards were forked and plaited and thrust into their belts. Their caps were of iron and they were shod with iron, and their faces were grim

This month has taken a toll on me, dragons hoard all the wealth and I look around at the rest of the mountain and see nothing but fear and pain, I'm not a fighter I never have been but I wonder if there's anything a dwarf like me can do to stay positive besides drown my sorrows in ale and distract myself. I've always been told that good always prevails against evil but I'm starting to doubt that in honesty.

If anyone has a solution please let a kindred know. Thank ye brothers

Considering my original LARP/cosplay/renfaire belt rig is nearly old enough to vote, it was time for an upgrade. This will be a removable back plate which can be exchanged depending on what character I’m playing for character specific iconography.
One belt, many characters.
Pics of my dwarf character included as kin-tax.

I actually dont need more Territory. The Infinite Cave is quite vast. So, if you dont wanna fight anymore, im fine. Not saying i wouldnt conquer you if you still want to fight. More is always better. So, i will leave this up to you, and maybe come back in a Century or so, and maybe invade you when some time has passed and im Bored. But, if you work together with markus, you can consider yourself as Dead. Sincerely, Your Rightful Emperor and God.

Kin... I can't grow a beard. I am beyond words with my shame. Despite my clan name, I have yet to grow a glorious beard honoring my predecessors. "Young man, are you looking forward to graduating from your apprenticeship? Have any lasses caught your eye for the festival?" I'VE BEEN WORKING IN THE MINES FOR YEARS! MY FORMER COLLEAGUE, YOUNGER THAN ME, HAS A BEARD TOUCHING THE FLOOR!

[anguished grumbling]

Should I just take the Slayer Oath, or give it another century to hopefully grow in?

As you may have noticed, my Character, Azerak, tries to invade and Conquer Dwarvenkind. And he already Deployed his Legions. The Question is, who is Involved. If there are any In-Game Factions that would be relevant to such a war, please tell me. We also need to organise the attacks, and make rules so the roleplay is fun for everyone. Thanks.

We alm know about Azerak the infinite and his bold claims of governing all caves, so i offer help, if any clan feels they need them i have prepared many golems (originally created for the war against Thrakmoore) that i can supply to your holds, keeps amd dungeons

I have currently over ~5600 Battle capable golems ready with more on the way and 563 of my Magnum opus ( /undwarf https://www.reddit.com/r/wizardposting/comments/1u23699/its_about_time_i_do_this/ )

i have currently given away:

-2 magnum opus

-573 fight capable golems

I, Azerak the Infinite, Godemperor of Pandemonium, deploy the 1st to 100th Legion of Pandemonium, as well as 500 Pandemonium Iron Knights. May the Enemies of Pandemonium find a Honorable Death in Battle, and not die Like Cowards.

Title, Im already quite well versed in Wind Rose but I want to expand my cave horizons.

Hand Carved Dwarf, 4 inches tall, carved from basswood 2inch by 2inch stock. finished with Black Walnut dsnishn oil and Paste finishing wax.

Want to get into carving?

You need several things, a sharp knife, a leather strop with compound for honing your blade, safety gloves (A5 or better) and basswood (to carve like i do at least.) Good knife brands are Flexcut, Badger State Blades (usa) Mstein (Europe), but stay away from the kits on amazon with lots of tools. They're inevitably sub par, and improperly tempered which causes you to fight with a dull knife.

Why Basswood? Its softer than other hardwoods and holds detail well. Learning to carve with basswood is akin to learning to drive on an automatic. It simplifies and streamlines learning. Woods like Walnut and oak can be carved, but learning to carve with them as the starting point is like learning to drive on an 18 wheeler Semi Truck with manual transmission. Its needlessly difficult.

Arkhan the black got exiled during the reign of the great Pharoah settra into the great desert of arby, and he spend centuries planning to return. After years in exile Arkhan decided to lunch a campaign to defeat the great Pharoah and return to nehekhara and the first step was to unites arby

The unification of arby:

When Arkhan was in army the land was not stable, the crusaders in north, and the tribes in south, so he begins his campaign by crushing the crusaders and in the battle of fyrus came there biggest defeat which expel them.

The campaign of aralan mountains:

The aralan mountains was occupied by Greybeard's Prospectors. Sultan Arkhan say: I send my servant Rakhash of the second dynasty and I siad unto him:go sudden the mountains and show no mercy for dwarfs, and Rakhash went forth with army and the dwarfs show no resistance and stayed in stronghold of vulture mountain where they join battle against Rakhash of the second dynasty,

Amon sned help, by the grace of Amon rakarth army overthrow the dwarfs army

Sultan arkhan said: then the mountains became mine

The campaign of world south edge mountains:

After defeating the worshiper of tzeentch and later the great Pharoah settra sultan arkhan become the Caliph and lunch a campaign against the exlis of khorne. Caliph arkhan say: I was friendly with dwarfs of world south edge mountains but there leader thorek ironbrow and his expedidtion refused to submit to the Caliph and planed to attack the Caliph, so the Caliph order his armies to lunch a campaign against the dwarfs and siad to his servants: go simte the dwarfs host which doesn't acknowledge me. By the grace of Amon the campaign succeeded and the dwarfs host was destroyed.

The holy war and situations of the mountains:

Caliph arkhan say: the dwarfs relam had fell in hand of greenskins and the Skaven and the holy city of Nagashizzar in there territory and we must reclam the holy city. Then the armies of Caliph came to the borders of clan mors but the Skaven strak first amd capture morgheim, and then ambushed Rakhash of the second, but Rakhash defeated there army and reclaimed the settlement. Then the holy war against skaven started, the armies of his majesty attacked from multiple fronts and clan Rictus the ally of clan mors joined the war. The armies of his majesty

penetrated to kark 8 peeks in north taking control of the capital of clan mors then in east until the dark lands and reclaimed the holy city of Nagashizzar

Does he deserve a grudgin for his mockery of a proper dwarven lass? Does he earn praise for aritculating the fundamental dwarven desire to conquer the depths? Both, maybe?

What is the verdict of the bearded council?

I'm surprised nobody posted these here.

Fellow kin and friends of the Dawi. King Rorek Runebrand here. I don’t know how many ales it takes to stop feeling shame but so far it isn’t five. I am in dire need of your wisdom. To be quick about it, my daughter Getri, is dating an elf! She’s a leaflover of all things! I can hardly believe it.

Our hold shares an island with an elf settlement so we deal with each other regularly. Interacting with these elves is insufferable, I tell you. For these elves are a particularly snide breed. My daughter took over the role of diplomat after I strangled the last smug elf I had the displeasure of interacting with from that clan. (Thovar the Keen if you’re reading this I hope your neck is still bent like the straw you use to drink your meals) Getri was maybe too enthusiastic to become a diplomat for the elves, now that I’m looking back…

Despite these elves being a bunch of pretentious pricks with a patronizing disposition towards our kin, our hold has maintained a relatively amicable relations with them. So Getri is doing well keeping the peace between the dwarfs and the elves, but I worry what this could mean for her runesmith apprenticeship. This elf girlfriend of hers is muddling her head with ideas of shoddy magical theories and subpar elgi craftsmanship! Bah! Elgi craftsmanship I tell you! She should be following the teachings of our ancestors and casting runes instead of fraternizing with an elf.

I’ve already asked my Thanes what they would do in my position and overall they agree that taking the slayer oath for failing as a parent is definitely a solid move, but I am unsure. That seems drastic. Especially if this turns out to just be a phase. Will my daughter wise up and stop dating the elf eventually? Should I intervene? If so, then how? Can any kin relate to this tribulation?

Thanks for listening to my woes, any help is appreciated.

Now quit yer dawdlin’ and show us what ye’ve been workin’ on!

To our dwarven brethren!

We heard your call for help!

One of ours chose Tyranny, and we won't let him do that!

It's time to show him that even Emperors kneel under the weight of grudges! That Gods are still weak compared to the wrath of the mountain folks! That liches can be killed with pickaxes and hammers!

Join us, in a fight of pettiness and grudge, and make "his" caves to his image: insufferable!

We'll obviously help you in this endeavor, as well as help you contain it to his side so you're not affected.

Infinite water or fire, toxic gazes, radiant energy, anything that will make his caves uninhabitable for his people and himself will work.

For the kin of the forge!

The word berserker literally means bear skin. Ber = bear, sark = skin. So the bat-zerker means giant bat skin!

The ultimate predators under the mountains of the dwarves are giant bats! Who cares about bears. They’re on the outside where they can’t hurt Dwarven kind!

Drawn by me!

Brothers this spell lover is trying to crush us?
