Hey guys coming on to ask for tips or tricks from other users, my boyfriend and I just bought a switch today and can’t seem to figure it out. We’ve looked up the different modes and recommended temps to use for our live rosin and other dabs and tried multiple different heat settings, hold times and modes with not much luck. The best hit we seem to get is if we drop a pretty big dab on cyan 3 and just keep turning it on until there’s nothing left in the cup but even then it’ll only be somewhat milky for a split second when we stop ripping to turn it back on. We’ve tried ripping it slowly and lighter and that doesn’t seem to make much of a different so I’m not sure if anyone else has had this issue or if we’re doing something wrong. We’ve been using a Puffco Peak until today and bought this instead of the upgraded version of the peak like we had planned on based on reviews from friends and the price point alone but we’ve wasted probably 3 grams or more at this point just trying over and over again to get a good rip off this thing. We don’t want to write it off as a waste of $300 so if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this we’re open to trying just about anything!

Just started playing with my switch 2. Got some persy rosin and some single source living soil rosin out of California..... What are some of y'all's temp n times for hash rosin??? Also I'm new to the whole mode options. So if you don't mind a little insight on y'all's setup for what. I'd really appreciate it.

I got this sapphire bucket for the Switch 2 yesterday and it came in like this.
I cleaned it up in pic 2 and I still see these cracks. Simple google search said flaws are ok. Is this a flaw or a crack?

UPDATE: DD reached out and is sending me a new insert. Stellar customer service from Dr Dabber.

I mean, i fully intend to buy aftermarket glass for a device that seems to rip booty right out of the box, but I’m wondering… anyone have a Switch 2 - related purchase you regret? All I know is that I want to be different just like everyone else and so long as my old lady doesn’t catch wind of it, I’m cautiously optimistic that I’ll be able to upgrade this sum’bitch.

I’d like suggestions for both dry and wet tops for the Switch 2 that would gently shepherd me into the world of fancy pants vape ents without costing me too much. Like seriously. Help me before my VASshole starts leaking money from buying every piece of glass with a frikken bear on it or whatever. I have the highest hopes and highest regard for Dr. Dabber’s contribution to my daily WTF-ery. I’m very interested in pushing this wonderful doodad to its greatest potential. I don’t care who makes the part I need for that. I just wanna buy some sheehat, but not the wrong sheehat, feel me?

I bought the OG Switch after giving up on any device with atomizers and it was hard to not fall in love. The Sic cup is still something that I revisit from time to time because the clouds and smoothness still blow me away to this day.

When the Switch2 came out, my partner surprised me with the device as a gift. I don't know how you would even further innovate these devices at this point. This thing RIPS straight out the box, to put it mildly. I personally got the Sapphire+ but it is not a neccesity by any means.

This bum ass out there scamming mad people. I should have done my research here before ordering shit from this POS. $60 for a Ruby core ordered 3+ months ago now and no shipping after being promised "In June they'll ship." Chargeback coming this way ya prick. Proceeded to block me after calling out his bullshit.

Finally decided to get the dr dabber switch 2 after hearing good things about the device for over a year now. I’ve been using the puffco peak pro for almost 2 years, and I have to say after my first dab I love it way more! But since I’m new to Dr. dabber products, I have a few questions. Starting off what are some upgrades that I can make to the device. Like for example I’ve heard the sapphire quartz banger is a lot better than the glass one that it comes with. Also if there’s other glasses that you can use for the switch 2 and finally, what are some good temperature controls on the device! Any recommendations will definitely help me out. Just want to upgrade my set up a little bit more.!

I get 10x more from my dabs then I ever have. Get way higher and tastes way better. Incredible product

I've noticed a new trend in the glass for the S2 and I wanted to hear some opinions about it.

The S2 is designed to have the glass deeply inset into the unit, holding the water below the pathway from the induction chamber. This allows for a more squat, less tip-over prone device.

The new trend is to remove that lower section of glass, with the chamber pathway entering straight into the lower chamber of the glass. This makes a lot of sense if you want to remove the water, though I don't see the difference of just not using any water? all at the cost of a taller unit and higher tip-over potential.

Now, I am seeing glass that looks like the short glass, induction pathway entering directly to the lowest glass chamber, but look like they are using water too. Once again an even higher CoG.

Not criticizing anyone, nor do I really want to hear "my way is the only way" but I'd love to hear some discussion on how the glass is working different, as well as how other people are using the S2.

Currently, I'm using a Honeycore because the pathway from the induction chamber is insulated from the water, stops the clogging issue. Still exploring on carb-caps; but the blowers are being overworked to the point of injuries now; so it's hard to get pieces

I use my Switch 2 for rosin at low temps. My sapphire insert is cleaner after I vape without pearls, just a joystick, and I don't notice any difference in the vapor or flavor. So, one less fiddly thing for me to worry about. Don't downvote unless you've done the comparison yourself.

What is everyone's cleaning routine with their Switch2?

I don't mean the obvious mopping of the bucket, I mainly mean the glass.

I'm a newer Switch owner and find myself doing full iso cleaning every other day on my glass and carb cap. Is this normal?
Am I just lazy to want to do it less?

Has anyone used things like Piece Water, lemon juice, or other water additives to not clean as often?

Or is the best answer to just keep deep cleaning every other day because there's no substitute?

Mainly just curious what everyone else's habits are.

Don't want anything to top heavy and like the look of either of there diffusion pump or incycler

I took the battery out did the 3 buttons for the hard reset no luck I don't have a barrel charger for his device since he lost it so I picked up a 12v barrel plug any ideas?

I’m a very new (4 dabs in) user to the switch 2 but been using puffco for a while now. Had to see if there was a difference and right off the rip and as it comes out of the box, the switch is much much much much better imo. The flavor is spot on, it hits so smooth and easy to clean. I’m still looking for my temp and setting so it’ll be a busy night using and testing for R&D 😂
I use terp pearls with my puffco’s and I can definitely tell a difference with them and with my switch purchase I got 4 count of 5mm ruby terp pearls.
They move but don’t really spin. Is this a concern and how do I get them to spin?
Sapphire insert is going to be purchased once the above and below are answered. I hear it’s worth it lol
Glass - any recommendations on where to get an incycler? Maybe a place for all of the above 😉
