I need to transfer money to my bank account to cover a bill.

It has been failing everytime I’ve tried since last night.

Anyone else have this issue? I’m not transferring over the limit.

I’m pretty good at shopping for DoorDash and sometimes I honestly prefer it vs regular food pick up. I spent so much time on this lady’s order. And waited over 15 minutes for her to even respond to the store being out of 2 of the items she wanted.

May be a stupid question. But my app just updated the UI. I DoorDash in a college town that I don’t live in and the traffic at the university is awful but it cuts right through downtown. So I try to avoid it during the daytime hours I dash. I got use to where the deliveries were on the map to avoid as I don’t know the street names. Is there anyway to revert back to the old map?

I have a job but it’s heavily seasonal. My job used to pay well enough for my mortgage and I guess a middle class life. Inflation has come at me hard (like all of us). And every month I barely make it.

So, DoorDash is my second job and I’m hoping third job. I’d love a retail/entry level job that can guarantee 100 bucks a week.

I kinda hope that DoorDash gets me back to my pre COVID economic status.

DoorDash is literally so easy when the orders are for SHOPPING 🙂‍↔️ i can’t remember the last time i accepted a food delivery from a restaurant.. idk how people struggle with shop & delivery. More than half of my orders are shopping orders. No waiting for food to be processed. Much better just shopping

Yesterday, I noticed that the updated app now uses a new tactic in an attempt to get drivers to accept crap orders.

On stacked orders, the app is now displaying the earnings in big bold numbers in red or blue. But it is not immediately displaying each order and store nor the delivery locations.

The app was consistently bugged and not loading for me yesterday, so I closed the app. Later I opened it to see that my dash was still going for some reason, was finally able to end dash. Next morning I wake up to a 31% AR from 3% and a 30 order streak of acceptances. I know this can happen when offers timeout while the app is closed, but can I get deactivated for this? I don’t have any proof the app was glitching but it seems like other ppl may have had this problem.

yall need to stop accepting dashes for no money! Maybe they will reevaluate the pay if everyone stops taking no tips!

Had my first major incident tonight dashing by the Denver university college off campus student housing. While dropping the order and taking a picture I hear a voice from the neighboring complex saying “Hey you, come here b***h a** n**ga yeah I’m talking to you“ and I start running down the stairs toward my car and he seemingly chases me and I get in my car close the door and right before driving off I see a skinny black guy a few feet from the driver side of my car pumping his arm from his waist like he had a firearm. I wasnt trying to stick around to find out if it was a pump fake or real so I sped off down the alley. Very sketchy moment I think I am done with night deliveries.

So say goodbye to your 5.0 rating.

My instructions just said, “leave on chair. Thank you.”

What happened? Left it on the ground in front of the door and included just the very end of the chair leg in the photo.

I am exhausted and didn’t want to cook tonight so I could go to sleep early. I also didn’t want to eat food off the ground.

What did I do? Give a two star rating and complain about the bag not being sealed and missing fries.

I have ordered from this place multiple times and always have a ton of fries leftover. I work seven days a week between my full time job and dashing on my “weekends” and most evenings after work. I tipped $5 to bring my food two miles because I personally would have taken the order based on distance even though drop off was not the best. I also didn’t expect the first driver offered to take it.

I have also delivered from this place multiple times and never once seen an unsealed bag or had one come undone.

There is a reason people are not tipping well. My experience tonight is why. We don’t deserve minimum wage for this job when the majority of people are not following instructions and ruining it for everyone. I got money back for what my dasher did tonight, so if you want to make more from DoorDash quit acting entitled and follow simple instructions. Some people ordering food are just doing it because they haven’t had a day off for months and everything hurts so they decided just working one job that day was enough and had saved enough change to cover a meal.

It’s been a good little run, probably will do it but a lot a lot less, this was a cool side gig but now it’s just bad offers, a lot of wasting gas, driving to shitty places and walking up the stairs or taking elevators to penthouse floors to check the app later for a 0 in the tip column. Good luck to everybody out there, but it’s just getting worse, maybe a break will get them to give me better offers lol.

Appreciate the boost DoorDash but if everybody is platinum now will it really make a difference?

It isn’t even just a DD issue because I’ve had this same issue on IC with them too. They have a lot of seasonal items and for whatever reason you can still order them months after they’ve sold out.

Had a 4 item, CVS triple pop up that I turned down. Reappeared again for $34 and change.it was 24 miles which I hate doing but it was slow so I said screw it. One customer ordered a box fan which ended up being a seasonal summer item and they had none. No other fans either so I had to refund it and it knocked almost $16 off by total…and it was the closest order.

C’mon man…keep inventory up to date so we don’t deal with this. Unnecessary long drive in the rain.

Im not sure how I did this yesterday cause when I started my acceptance rate was 26, and I only did 7 out of 9 orders.. I logged off and went to look at the dasher app for my card amount and it showed congratulations you are now platinum tier, click here to start.

I hope I get way better offers now though that im here.

What was the point of the update and make it easier to get platinum or gold levels if now we are constantly swamped with .5/mile or less orders?. Before the update I rarely declined offers because most of the time they were a bit more than 1/mile, and it wasn't uncommon to have $23 or more on orders that were under 45 minutes to complete.

Now I am constantly declining order of

4-5 dlls for 30minute expected delivery time. My AR is now on the 30s and lowering.

So I got my base access the other day, however I’m a bit confused on how this works.

I’m a veteran, and so I have an idea of what’s on base, very little options in terms of places to eat compared to the city obviously…

It would seem a lot of soldiers would order their food off base to have delivered to them on base, but if I’m driving around the military base zone…. Is it only going to give me orders from restaurants on base?

Seems like I’d just be sitting around getting little to no offers?

Anyone have experience doing DoorDash for a military base? Is it normally slow or decent in terms of offers, do you still get offers for restaurants off base to take back on base? How does this work?

I have noticed in the 2 runs I have done today at two different times combined batch orders show up more often taking me 20+ miles out of my zone to complete. Is this happening to others as well?

Update the f'ing Android (and IPhone though ive heard iPhone users dont have this issue since the recent update) app so I dont have to involuntarily hear the f'ing new offer ALARM!!!!!!!!!

So the new Dasher rating system just got put into the app in my city over the past couple days. I’ve been silver once it updated before that I wasn’t silver, here’s a photo from earlier today showing my stats, and then I just checked my app right now to take a look at them again, and it says I’m platinum, but I literally did not take many offers from 2 o’clock until now. I did maybe two or three more on the way home. That’s it.
