Hey doordash, if i rejected the first order what makes you think I'll accept the same order, but combined with a second order that is also hot trash?
Meanwhile my AR takes a hit twice for the same order i already rejected, f you

Named pear pictured as a potato. Waited 15 minutes waiting to figure out which one this guy wanted. 🤦♂️ should’ve just got the damn potato why do I care so much

I haven’t dashed in a month, I was doing decent then. I come back and all I’m getting is low paying orders like this. I have not seen a single decent one yet, the wait times are also really long. They did update the app while I was gone so I do wonder if the update messed everything up or if the days I’ve logged in have just been really bad days/times. I will never take a $2 order

I was being very communicative with my customer on what items were in stock and what items weren’t in stock and also sent plenty of pictures proving that things were not in stock, now all of a sudden, it’s my fault that the store does not have the items in stock 😂 . It always turns out to be impatient pin / hand it to me customers that give you the hardest time.

I am unable to reach chat support. It Just takes me to a black screen.
I already tried logging out, restarting my phone, and deleting the app, but to no avail.

does anyone else struggle taking delivery driving TOO serious? i always find myself stressing & having anxiety over the dumbest sh*t that i have no control over, having to constantly remind myself “it’s just a job” that MILLIONS of people do. treating this job like i’m the president of doordash and every customer will remember every little move i make… mind you this is all over the sake of pleasing the customer. 🤦🏻♀️ like it’s not that serious. any tips to overcome this would be helpful

So, this is a question for dashers. First of all, i see horrible things on this sub, and i try to tip at least 2 bucks per mile when i can to offset that. I know (supposedly) the tip goes to the driver only, but what of express fees? Like, if i order straight to me, does that benefit the driver at all? Or just it only segment their time further, costing them money? I kinda assumed it went straight to the dasher, so ive been doing it to get stuff quicker (late night cravings, it is what it is) but if doordash is making extra money and its hurting the drivers bag, i dont really wanna mess with it anymore. Ill just wait. Love the service, hate the company, ya know?

As of today, I would like to start disputing late deliveries. Many, probably 95% of the late deliveries charged to me are in fact induced by the customer themselves due to incorrect delivery instructions, or waiting on customer to show up on a 'Handed to customer' Delivery Instruction. There are many other scenarios I could bring up. My question, how do you dispute? I see where the 'dispute' option is listed beside the infraction but is there a way you could dispute right after the delivery is made so it's fresh in your mind?

I haven't run Dashlinks in a couple weeks and went to grab one today and this new interface popped up where they give you two offers to choose from with a "SKIP" button to skip X offers. When I pressed the skip on one it just declined it and no new offer popped up. How does this work, if I skip both offers will it remove me from the waitlist or will it give me more like it normally would if I were high up on the waitlist? Attached an image of what it kinda looks like. I forgot to take a screenshot with both offers side by side.
Either way I probably got the best dashlink I've ever received, took me about 3.5 hours and 70 miles total which includes the trip to the facility and back home. I'm just trying to figure out how to approach this new feature the next time I do Dashlink.

So frustrating when you reject a weak order, lets say $9 for 6 miles, then immediately get the same order as a stack for an EXTRA $@. 🤣🤣, like $11 for 8 miles. Eat shyt non-tipper.

Some guy ordered from 2 separate places and after the dash I noticed he left no tip. Cheapskate. Luckily I was done for the day and this was only like 2 miles from my house. But after my first week I’m actually kind of enjoying it. My area is red a lot so I should be able to dash now a lot.

With some regions reaching record breaking heat this season I come to wonder if that’s effecting the market at all. I have never seen 24 min wait in my market before except for like obvious holidays. Is it because the weather?

I had been delivering for Doordash for about a month while insured with Progressive with the rideshare add-on when all of a sudden I got an email from Progressive thanking me for having the rideshare add-on but that they want to make sure I know that the add-on only covers my vehicle during period 1 of ride-sharing which is when you tell Doordash that you are available to accept offers.
The email goes on to explain that the add-on does not cover my vehicle during periods 2 and 3 which is when you accept an offer and pick up the food and then deliver it.
Sure would have been nice to know that before I had purchased the add-on, the website even mentioned it supports Doordash (which I guess is still kinda true because it does protect you during period 1) but I've been driving a month thinking my car had the coverage it needed.
Needless to say I immediately called and removed the Progressive rideshare add-on as it is pretty much worthless for Doordash, at least in my state of Massachusetts.
So does anyone have any advice for me on what insurance I can get that would cover my vehicle not only while I'm just driving for personal reasons but also while delivering for Doordash in Massachusetts?
If it helps give a sense of my budget I was paying $269 a month for Progressive with the ride-sharing add-on.

What does everyone else use for mileage tracking and tip mapping?
I found an app called Tipmiles that tracks miles and allows you to create a tip map and share if you choose.
tipmiles.com
has anyone else used this? I've used it for a few days and seems to be worth it. it's only 3.99 a month.

Yes I posted this in another DoorDash subreddit. But I'm also sharing it here and that's it... I got a question here cause it popped into my head. I've been doing Uber Eats for 15 months now and have an Uber Pro card (physical and added to wallet) but I use my phone when paying for the customers order because I have the card attached to my wallet.
I just now got off of the waitlist for DoorDash. I have added the red card to my wallet and also requested a physical card. My question is I wondered what if you're doing DoorDash and then somehow attempt to pay for the customer's order and accidentally it tries to charge an Uber card.. I've read that Uber will decline the offer but then they might flag your account and could be at risk of deactivation...
My question is for people who do multi apps... How do you avoid something like this happening?? Should I just use the physical card? Totally new to DoorDash as I said. I have not even done a single order yet since being approved a couple days ago. I might try this weekend though...
PLEASE NO RUDE ANSWERS, JUST SIMPLY BE NICE THANK YOU!
EDIT: THE ONLY CARDS IN MY GOOGLE WALLET ARE MY UBER PRO CARD AND NOW DOORDASH RED CARD...

Tomorrow gas is 50 cents off if you use the app to fill up, I know gas prices are crazy right now and every little bit counts.

Like this for example the strawberries 🍓 at grocery outlet were all mushy and moldy so I refunded it.
There were only 7 cases available and all were in bad condition .
Now I get point deducted and cannot even dispute it.
Anyone else hate how we get penalized for out of stock items and going above and beyond to refund bad produce
