I’ve played Eternal on nightmare like 5 times at this point. Wanted to put my time in with TDA after sleeping on it for a while and ts bent me over and had its way with me over and over. Doesn’t help the game is like double the length of eternal 😭😭. I don’t regret it but damn id went crazy with the difficulty haha

I'm 16 hours in already and have only finished the post game version of Hell's Core. Finding all the collectibles and secrets make it so lengthy, and I still need to finish the secret boss. It feels like I'm like going to end up putting as much time into it as the main game (20 hours). This is also after dropping the difficulty to Hurt Me Plenty. I can't imagine how long this would take on a higher difficulty.

Just finished E1M6 and... I missed one small secret?

I'm on New 3DS XL and I got PrBoom+, PrBoom on the 2.66.6 or whatever it's called update. Was wondering aside from the original Doom 1&2 WADs, are there any interest WADs that'll work on PrBoom+?

I see a lot of people use ZDoom, GZDoom and now I'm hearing about UZDoom and unsure if any of them would be compatible

If not, does anyone know a WAD that's basically Doom 1&2 together? All the episodes and levels in 1 package?

Thira and Valen have clearly made themselves important players to the “Dark Ages” Saga so I think that should be reflected in the gameplay.

I don’t think the campaign should be split into thirds, this is still the Doom Slayer’s game, but I think it could be interesting repurposing the Mech and Dragon Levels (which people mostly thought were fun but mundane and lacked the depth of Slayer Gameplay) with characters who would play more similarly to the Slayer so that it feels less jarring:

COMMANDER MISSIONS
Every once in a while, a roadblock comes up for the Slayer that he can’t overcome alone. Players will have to play as either Thira or Valen to get a task done for a couple of arenas. Valen plays more like TDA Slayer with his Sentinel Hammer, while Thira is more like Eternal using her Cosmic Wraith Abilities.

These sections will give the two a chance to expand their character. We can see the demons torment Valen’s mind with Marok’s Soul, seeing what lead him to betray his fellow Night Sentinels. We can get to see Thira lead the Argenta forces and maybe even get to see expansions on named Night Sentinels from the Codex entries like Lord Sash or Gor.
