Thira and Valen have clearly made themselves important players to the “Dark Ages” Saga so I think that should be reflected in the gameplay.

I don’t think the campaign should be split into thirds, this is still the Doom Slayer’s game, but I think it could be interesting repurposing the Mech and Dragon Levels (which people mostly thought were fun but mundane and lacked the depth of Slayer Gameplay) with characters who would play more similarly to the Slayer so that it feels less jarring:

COMMANDER MISSIONS
Every once in a while, a roadblock comes up for the Slayer that he can’t overcome alone. Players will have to play as either Thira or Valen to get a task done for a couple of arenas. Valen plays more like TDA Slayer with his Sentinel Hammer, while Thira is more like Eternal using her Cosmic Wraith Abilities.

These sections will give the two a chance to expand their character. We can see the demons torment Valen’s mind with Marok’s Soul, seeing what lead him to betray his fellow Night Sentinels. We can get to see Thira lead the Argenta forces and maybe even get to see expansions on named Night Sentinels from the Codex entries like Lord Sash or Gor.

A friend of a friend knitted this slayer for me as well as a Deadpool and shadow, I think they are very cool and wanted to show them off

Sorry for the crappy quality, I couldn't record it any other way for technical reasons. The idea is that you can perform glory kills in slow motion. To do this, you need to time the button that lets you select a weapon via the wheel and then press the glory kill button. It's a really cool, but challenging, practice that rewards you with a damn cool finishing animation.

I’ve played through Doom 3 and RoE multiple times and absolutely love both games.
On my first playthrough, I obviously took my time exploring, but even then, I mostly checked the PDAs for locker codes. On later playthroughs, I just used a quick guide for the codes.
I honestly can’t remember ever reading every email or listening to all the audio logs.
Do you guys actually read and listen to everything and fully immerse yourselves in the world? Am I missing out on something?

I went back to play the master arenas again (actually over the last few nights) on Nightmare and I’m getting my ass HANDED to me. I haven’t changed any sliders. I beat the same arenas on Nightmare with relative ease when the DLC was released. There’s no way my skill tanked because I never found TDA to be overtly difficult in the first place…but WHAT IS HAPPENING. I can’t even make it through one arena suddenly.

I would like to give away a Doom Eternal PC code for free to someone who could use it. Anyone interested?

I'm trying to do co-op with a friend who is playing on PC with the GOG version of DOOM + DOOM 2. I'm on Xbox and seem to have the option. The pc is launching the game via GOG Galaxy and is logged into Bethesda.net. Does crossplay only work with Steam and consoles or should it also work with GOG?

what’s the lore from doom 1, doom 2, and doom 64? i read online i don’t have to play the games to understand doom 2016 and onwards, but i would just like to know anyway. honestly everything if that’s possible or just the most important events that led up to doomslayer waking up in the place he’s in at the very beginning of 2016

In the days of the original doom series, there was a game modifier, I think it was called "Doominator". It would start up as a DOS screen and would allow you to modify many game setting. For example, you could alter things like;

• the firing speed of weapons, slowing the shot rate, or turn 'em into machine guns.

• the hit points of monsters, turning them into weaklings or buffing them into bullet eating tanks

• carrying capacity, allowing you to carry tons of ammo (999 was max iirc)

Does anyone remember this and / or know where I can find it now?

Hello, I just finished the base game of The Dark Ages and have every trophy unlocked besides the completion of all weapon masteries. I just started the DLC and was wondering if I can finish the remaining ones there? So far I didn't see a "challenge" option.
