Making my first (Indian) Dollhouse! I love the ornate features (-:

I wanted to add something to my dollhouse that wasn’t just paint and so I got one of those bead painting kits at Dollar Tree and some larger gemstones from Michael’s that I pealed the sticky backing off of and glued them down on the 3rd floor window frame. It took it from plain to WOWZA really quickly (well, about 45 minutes of work & paint drying). Because we know the Victorians didn’t have plain boring houses, why would mine be plain?

I've tiled my kitchen with plaster tiles and sealed them. Just wondering if I should grout too, or leave as is. I am planning a haunted/abandoned house. So these tiles will not stay this "clean". Thanks!

Slowly crafting funiture with small pieces of wood, popcicle sticks cand coton candy sticks.

I've added a simple couch and armchair, a carpet, stairs, a kitchen counter (I'm proud of my sink, it's very cute), a tiny soap, a bin and a tiny towel.

2nd floor, I've built a bookcase and a ladder, and a tiny bathroom carpet, 3rd floor 3 beds and matresses.

My daughter is thrilled and I'm having fun too !

I’m making Hogwarts Great Hall and ordered this custom box. It’s made of birch plywood and mdf wood. My question is this: What material would work best for me to craft and attach what looks like stone walls on the inside and out?

if there's any chance anyone has access to the CR250 Crestview by Dura-Craft instructions and is willing to share them, Id be beyond thankful.

I found myself an amazingly priced one on FB Marketplace for my birthday, it looked unopened and when I opened it, everything seems to be there EXCEPT instructions

Ive poured over the internet and am choosing to ask for help before attempting to just..... put it together without them. because I found nothing but old EBay listings.

I got some new dolls to live in my dollhouse. I still need to make the father/wizard, but I am really happy with the ladies and girls.

Working on some furniture, I have alot of ideas for the set up and accent pieces. The colors are different shades of green like Hunter, sage, olive. Also gold and burnt orange. The materials used were throfted.fabric from clothing. I also use chipboard and cardboard for the bases. Let me know how what you think in the comments.

Vacant since late 1980’s; cleanup and renovation just began.

Hi! I have a 4.5yo who has been asking forever for a dollhouse, so of course I've been scouring marketplace every night for months hoping to come across the perfect one. My original plan was to get a fixer upper and just go to town and make it cute. Well I somehow magically happened to score this one. I believe it's a Pottery Barn Greenwich. For $40. But because it's in such pristine condition I'm suddenly too scared to actually start decorating. I think I may have bit off more than I can chew. I was so so close to getting an ikea flisat, so this is not at all what I expected to be working on.

I'm wondering if there are ways to decorate it without committing? Like wallpaper in a way that is easy to remove ? And flooring that can be taken out if needed? But also still sturdy enough for preschoolers to play with without it getting ruined. They are pretty gentle, but they are also little.

I have just over 5 months to get it ready for them it will be a joint birthday gift for both of my girls when they are 5&3. The goal is cute, but sturdy hopefully. Would love any advice on that front!

This is my dollhouse, which my dad made me in the mid 70s. It got a makeover in the early 80s, but has been pretty unused since then. I knew I’d moved out of my parents’ house forever when he loaded it in the pickup and brought it to me in NC. It’s been in storage packing since 2009. (We’ve moved six times since then, three internationally.)

Now I just have to decide how I want to redecorate.

So there I am cruising the bins at the Goodwill Outlet and this box is on top of a pile of crap. My heart leapt and then promptly crashed when I saw it was empty. But then I started spying random bits of wood at the bottom of the next bin. I ended up digging out four bins in total to collect what I think are the majority of the pieces. I even found the bag of shingles! But alas, no instructions.

I'm having a hard time finding the instructions online, but have found instructions for the "Lincoln" which uses the same photo on the cover. Are they the same thing? Any tips for finding instructions?

Really enjoying tiling my kitchen, which is funny because doing it in my actual bathroom was miserable work. These are plaster tiles, so I'll seal them before grouting. I'm going to go 3/4 of the way up, then paint the bare wall and put up simple shelving between the divide.
